Chapter 16: A newcomer

Unless it was private land, Blessed Port City would never be quiet.

Its port was one of the busiest places with various races working here for their future. They would meticulously work along the crystal clear ocean, but even the workers in the port city were quiet right now.

The lady with white hair summoned something that instantly shut their lips.

It was Daydream, that Vis had been calling bed ever since his eyes laid on it. However, it turned out that this bed was one of the transports to the Dream Wall.

Miku could use it in various ways and the small boat just suddenly felt as right.

"Let's go," Vis patted her back, then stepped on Daydream first. His second servant followed him shortly after and both of them sailed to the Dream Wall.

The ocean was called Dream Ocean since there was Lula Tribe close, but its water had been what Vis would gladly dream off.

It just felt serene on the water and Daydream made the whole trip the best.

Vis enjoyed each second on the water and his heart felt serene so much that he just went sleeping.

He woke up after his second servant called him out, "Are we here?" Vis pulled his hair back, then rolled his eyes, "I even dream of those jealous looks. It's been a while since I had a nightmare."

"Why was it a nightmare, Master?" Miku asked.

"You think I should feel proud?" Vis read her feelings accurately and so his servant just nodded.

As he saw her like that, Vis got reminded that people from this world often treasure pride more than their own life! He just briefly answered, "I am not like that. One of our principles is to treasure life above everything."

Vis couldn't speak more of his principles, though.

The reason for that was Lula clansmen whose eyes had been on Miku's Daydream ever since she hit their island.

As Vis' head popped from within, their steps halted and they cautiously looked at him.

Vis' gray eyes answered theirs, hovering on their appearances with great curiosity.

Even if those people shouldn't be highly ranked in the Lula Tribe, their robes exuded exalted air and smoothly lied on their bodies.

They didn't look bad too and Superior Race was written in every move.

On the other side, Vis had rough clothes he just bought on his way here.

Miku was no better and they looked blessed with poverty instead.

"Welcome back…" One of them awkwardly spoke while looking at Miku. He waited for her response, but all he got was just a nod from her, "What's your relationship?"

"We are married," Vis answered in her place.

"Yes," Miku replied just like her master wanted to.

Both of them didn't look close at all and their relationship could be easily seen with the naked eye.

It was a master and servant relationship, but Lula people couldn't possibly voice out their thoughts like that, could they? They just exchanged a few glances, then asked for more details.

It was a moment that made Vis' heart beat faster. He didn't know much about this tribe and just learned through gossip about them.

His servant's knowledge was also limited and she had a lot of lost parts. It was no problem to learn about the world and most common knowledge, but Lula Tribe's internal affairs weren't something Miku could easily remember. The same went for her former life.

Her mind shook with something new, though.

"What was your affiliation? We have a few women called Miku…" Lula man explained.

From the side, Vis couldn't help but click his tongue. Were there really a few women with the same name and age in their tribe? He just hoped for that to be true, otherwise, those people were already suspecting something!

Vis then could tell that Miku's soul remembered something and so he gave her green light.

"I work for High Yoru," Miku answered and her clansmen nodded with understanding.

"A lot of High Yoru's people go and leave Dream Wall," They also checked their list and found out about Miku's leave, so everything ended up cleared relatively easily.

There was just one thing they needed to confirm, "So… You have brought a man with yourself…"

"Yes, we have fallen in love with each other and I wish to live together with Miku. Since she had been on her mission outside, I have to return with her and clear things with her tribe," Vis spoke fluently, his demeanor not fading away before those people.

It seemed like he left a good impression on them, but outskirts were what Vis and Miku could only go to nonetheless!

"Don't forget to register yourself," Vis got reminded by those guards, then they finally left him and Miku alone.

Right now, they were ordered to meet the High Yoru who was the person that former Miku had worked under.

This person was surely a necromancer…

"Can't we just ignore him?" Vis asked while looking at the transparent wall before him. At the first glance, no one would be able to notice it, but it was Dream Wall that would bring him to the new world.

It had been hiding what lied on the other side ever since the old era!

"I don't know, Master," Miku just replied like usual.

"Such a person shouldn't personally go after you and he would rather send someone to meet us… I think we can ignore him," Vis explained his reasoning while remembering that Miku told him about her status before.

She was a low and weak Lula clansman, so there shouldn't be any problems with her ignoring that order.

At most, she would get some light punishment and get reprimanded through a proxy, but not through High Yoru himself.

"This should be your house," Vis already passed through Dream Wall and found himself within the new world. The wall didn't seem to have anything that checked his identity and race as no alarm could be heard in the neighborhood.

He also didn't feel anything weird while going through it.

Miku's house was a small house that had at most five rooms. It was already in the outskirts, so nothing new was given to them.

This house lacked compared to other houses that Vis had seen while strolling with his second servant.

This was a spiritual world and he could see its grace each step, but rather than enjoying the world, Vis had something else he needed to take care of.

Upon entering the house, Vis locked the doors and entered the room that had just one window.

He covered the window with a curtain and spoke, "We need an escape plan. I will spend my time here to check my abilities first. An army should have an ability for retreat and I will aim to get one," Vis said.

His servant nodded and took the seat on the bed. She began to train on her own and the couple seemed to be immersed in their own duties, but a small part of the Lula Tribe put their attention on them.

It was High Yoru whose steps had been pointing at Miku's house!

He was not alone as there was a woman next to him. Her eyes keeping attention on him clarified that she was not with him voluntarily.

Both of them were people with High in their name.

Both of them had been going to Miku's house as if she was a big shot or princess at least…

"How weird!" Vis could see them from afar as his senses screamed with alerts. He looked over the curtain and found two Lula people with ravishing appearances…

"Even if I had retreat ability, I wouldn't even make it… They have come here so fast… Miku, do you know them?" Vis asked.

His servant opened her eyes, then peeked through the window, "I don't know them. They don't give familiar vibes to me, Master."

"If it's like that, then I can only wait for the development to occur... " Vis bit his lips, then straightened his back.

He actually felt a new knowledge slowly sprouting within him before.

Vis assumed that it was the desired ability that would make him more of a general and help advance in this world, but those people just appeared out of nowhere!

If one of them ended up helping him, Vis would change his initial impression, but he was irritated by their visit.

Soon, High Yoru's voice rang out from outside, "Miku, how long do you plan to make me wait?"

"She just returned! Let her rest and maybe knock on the door instead? What if she is tired from her journey? Besides, I know she brought her lover with herself, so how about you just keep those lips shut and let me take care of her matters?" The woman next to him had a kinda sharp tongue as she spoke in a way that didn't insult High Yoru.

"Hmpf," High Yoru just exhaled highly through his nose.

She then closed up distanced and knocked on the door like a normal person which made Vis lean more toward her than this High Yoru.

He soon appeared before her, "Hello, what brings High Madame here?"
