Chapter 14

Once again Lubius was quite stunned by the culture of this world, when he thought about it it wasn't strange considering his past life. There were some areas that gave women a special place, so if this world had a status and morals that were reversed. It wasn't strange that there was male-only transportation, they even provided a special and strictly male-only shopping area where only close family, guardians or wives could enter. 

Lubius also began to realize that this world had technological developments that were arguably more advanced than his previous life. You could say that this world was advanced thanks to the existence of Eron, which was basically unlimited energy and could be used by everyone. Except for special people like Lubius. 

When Lubius entered this mall building, he could see various things that he felt he had only seen in sci-fi stories and movies.... 

It reminded Lubius that his family really used old-fashioned items and didn't use a lot of Eron in order to make him live comfortably. 

"This kinda makes me nervous…" Nadia commented after she finished getting checked by the guard and stepped inside the mall. 

"Have you never been to this place?" 

"Of course, I can't enter this place without you. Hm... Is there any place you want to see first?"

"Huh… Well, I don't think so." 

"Really? You don't want to see new clothing or any other thing…" 

"Not really, at this moment I don't want those things." Lubius said as he looked around the mall and found various men walking with their wives. 

However, Lubius could see a difference with the men wearing clothes that were arguably very different from what he was used to seeing from the world. They wore clothes that were practically open and tight and used various jewelry as well. A fashion that is still strange in Lubius' eyes, but he thinks many actors and musicians often have this kind of fashion, right?

Their demeanor can also be said to be more feminine, delicate and docile.

It is not unusual for men in this world to have been culturally socialized, having been fathers of households for thousands of years. So they have been domestically turned into husbands of housekeepers. So that the attitudes and other things of men in this world have been very far from Lubius's past life.

To be honest, Lubius really likes this stuff. Unfortunately, he couldn't use such a complex item.

"Alright, then let's get to it." Lubius spoke up.

"Uh, do you really not want to see other places too." Nadia was still trying to persuade her little brother

"..." Lubius slowly realized that his sister Nadia had never entered this place and she couldn't enter this place without him either. So it wasn't strange that she was interested in looking around first.

"We can do it another day, right now I want to go straight to the electronics place." Lubius finally spoke while giving a promise that they could come back to this place in the future. Right now, he wasn't really interested in looking around this place, because he was basically excited to get these items that could help him. 

Especially when Lubius thought about it, he was about to go to a sports competition, right? Although he still wasn't sure what content he would create. However, he was almost one hundred percent interested in things related to Eron. 

Even in his past life Lubius was not a big fan of any one sports club. However, football was very popular in his country. He still often sees fan content from football clubs recording their reactions when watching football matches.

At this point, Lubius only felt that he could distinguish between ordinary sports and things like the labyrinth and the hunter who took down the Beast. However, at the same time, he still didn't understand the difference between the two very well.

On the other hand, Nadia's face immediately brightened a little at her younger brother's words indicating that he was interested in continuing a relationship with her. Because before they didn't have a relationship that could be considered this good. Even Nadia herself didn't remember her younger brother talking this much with her.

"Good, well let's go..." Nadia spoke with a happy face.

The two of them headed to the top floor of this mall which specialized in selling electronic goods. Honestly, from Lubius' observation. This mall looks more luxurious than the shopping area specialized in selling electronics in his previous life. Maybe because this mall is specifically for men and is basically very complete, having stores from food, jewelry, furniture to electronics itself.

When Lubius got there, he could see that the electronics place he went to had a big brand name when looking at the store. It reminded him of brands that specialized in making gaming pc systems like ROG, Legion and other stuff.

So Lubius felt that the webcam and mic he bought were a bit expensive. In his past life, he might have gone to a shopping area that specialized in electronics/computer goods. But when he asked his sister about such a place. 

Nadia looked at him with a look that said 'Are you crazy?'

For some reason, from Nadia's gaze, Lubius was able to decide that the place he was going was a bit dangerous. In his past life, it might have been like taking his sister to a place that would make her uncomfortable because it was full of burly, violent-looking men who had a bad history with women. If he takes it from this angle. Lubius could understand why his older sister didn't think of bringing her younger brother, who didn't like to have anything to do with women, to a shopping place that was basically specialized for women in this world.

Either way, Lubius was quite happy to be able to spend time with Nadia. Because when compared to the relationship in his past life, the two of them didn't have a good relationship in this world. At the very least, he hoped to build a good relationship with his sister, especially considering that she was trying to do the same. He didn't have to do such a difficult job anyway… 

The two of them spent lunch time after Lubius got the items he wanted. Even though the food he ate wasn't as delicious or giving him that Eron like when he had dinner with Verita. Lubius began to realize that the food in this world was also better than his previous life. So he began to feel that the existence of Eron was something extraordinary, right? 

"Ah... Before we go to the stadium, I think we should meet with my acquaintance. Are you okay?" Nadia asked Lubius just a moment after the two of them finished having lunch. 

"Of course, I'm okay about it. It's your close friend or something… Ah… Or maybe a guy…" Lubius responded in a tone that was slightly teasing his sister. However, he took advantage of this to find out a little about his sister in this world. Because the original Lubius from this world had no knowledge of his own sister. Even though he didn't get the full memory of himself, it still felt wrong not to get a single thing related to his own sister.

"Ahaha, of course not… I don't have relationships with men… You could even say that I don't have many male acquaintances." Nadia answered Lubius' words with a pale expression on her face and it could be said that her eyes were giving off a look that her world was over. 

"Is that so…?" Lubius didn't know what to say. Basically, his older sister in a past life was about to get married a few weeks before he had the accident that cost him his life. Something that made him also curious to ask about the man who was supposed to be his brother-in-law. However, it would be a strange question so Lubius kept quiet. 

"Also, the people I met were not my close friends, but we were quite close. Also, the person who was able to help me get tickets to watch the game Arena, was the boss of my workplace." 

"Eh, really?" 

"Yes, we have similar interests which makes us a bit closer and our clubs are not that big either... So it's not strange that the sense of family is closer than usual. You could say it was my boss who offered to work at the club after I finished university three years ago." Nadia explained a little about the person she was going to meet to Lubuis. 

Lubius had no idea what kind of job his sister had in this sports club called Tiapi. However, it felt great to get a job offer directly from the boss of the real workplace. 

"I don't know if you're really interested in working at the same place as me. However, I think it would be good to talk to the boss. She might be able to give you an explanation as well as a job opening that interests you." Nadia added the reason why she wanted to bring Lubius together with her boss. 

It was something that Lubius felt was worth trying, because in the end he still hadn't gotten a job and he wasn't one hundred percent sure he could make a quick buck just by creating content on a video sharing website similar to YouTube.

"Well, I'm fine really… it's just talk anyway." Lubius eventually agreed to meet with her sister's boss.
