Chapter 27:Somewhere in ....

Hey, I overestimated myself, editing will take a while to be complete, But I was able to finish editing the first 8 chapters, hopefully, I got rid of the worse part.

So this is the first chapter for the ARC 2, which starts a little bit dark. But opening a curtain a little bit about things and goals is never a bad thing.

Please enjoy reading this chapter.

———————————————————-

Somewhere in Ebbing, right on a cliff overlooking the river, stood a huge and beautiful citadel. A disgusting feeling surrounded the area that repulsed any liveliness except the scavengers. Thick clouds covered the entire area around, which made the area even more suspicious and not pleasant for the living to stay in this godforsaken place.

Next to the Citadel was a graveyard of ships. Lots of ships were either destroyed or looked new. They all had one thing in common: bodies and bones.

On each ship lay fresh and old corpses. They rotted right there on the spot, creating a terrible smell that spread around.

No man knew the way to this place. Those who have ever beheld this place never again dared to approach closer than a kilometer. Not a single person who tried to get there has ever left this citadel alive.

But only from the outside, the citadel looked beautiful and only slightly terrifying. Inside, everything had a completely different atmosphere.

Cold stone walls, subdued light and the sound of rare drops of water created a slight echo through the halls. This Citadel was home to only one feeling, the feeling of terror.

This is the place where many young girls and women met their end. Not because of war or conflict. The reason is much simpler, in the satisfaction of a person who considers their lives not as valuable as his research and curiosity.

*aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa*

The girl's scream echoed through the halls of the citadel, instantly drawing attention. If we were to come closer and see what was happening there, only a few would be able to withstand such a sight. Only a few are able to calmly look at the suffering that girls experiences in this place.

There lay a young lady with a big belly, it was clear that she was pregnant. Judging by the appearance of the girl, she could hardly have been given more than 14 years. But right in this Citadel, she was handcuffed to a metal chair that did not allow her to move.

Only one part of her body was not covered or restricted. This is her mouth.

Next to her stood a man in rich and beautiful clothes. His ugly, sadistic face did not suit such luxurious clothing.

There was only one explanation for why the girl's mouth was not covered. The man liked to hear and see how horrified those he used were, how much pain he brought to them before they could not stand it. How every, even the tiniest spark of hope, disappears in their eyes.

But what was its purpose? Why all this sacrifice and suffering?

One of the reasons is quite simple, he liked to torment his victims, to watch them slowly die as he brought them more and more pain.

A man approached the girl with a sharp knife in his hands. He gently began massaging her belly, saying soothing words, "Hi dear, how are you and your baby? Everything is good?"

The girl began to cry, begging to be let go: "Please, I beg you, don't want this. I don't want to die, I don't want to experience this. Please! Have mercy, let me go. I will never say a word about you."

The man showed a worried face and began to calm the girl. "Don't worry, honey. Everything will be fine with you, it will only hurt a little, you don't have to worry."

The man ran the knife across her body, leaving a thin streak of blood from her forehead to between her legs.

The man, with a smile on his face, licked the blood off the knife and said, "See, it doesn't hurt that much."

With tears and fear in her eyes, she began to nod in response, wishing it all would end soon.

But before she could say anything to him, the man plunged his knife into her leg in a quick motion. With a smile on his face, under her intense screams, he asked, "I didn't hear your answer, dear? Are you all right?"

*aaaaaaaaaaaaa*

The only sound the girl could make at that moment was an excruciating cry.

For others, it might be true, but for a man, it was something else. He didn't think of screaming as screaming. He imagined her cry as the singing of morning birds or the famous orchestra playing its concerto. It was a tune that gave him great satisfaction.

But gradually the girl's voice lost its power. The man didn't like it. With enthusiasm, he began to cut a square right out of her stomach. Humming a song.

"Maiden in the mor lay—

in the mor lay—

Sevenyst fulle, sevenist fulle.

Maiden in the mor lay—

in the mor lay—

Sevenistes fulle ant a day."

With newfound strength, the girl screamed, interrupting the man's song, which greatly disappointed him. With a quick, piercing motion, he plunged the knife straight into her stomach, narrowly avoiding the child and nearly killing him.

Evil eyes looked down at the dying girl, the man shouted at the girl, "Who gave you the right to interrupt my song?"

Almost instantly, his mood changed as he cut out the baby, still connected to the mother by the umbilical cord, the baby began to scream, but this seemed to bother the man the least. He observed the child before clicking his tongue and once more looking into the girl's eyes.

The man brought the baby close to his mother with the words: "Look at this beautiful creature, such a lovely baby! Would you like to hold it for a few seconds before I continue with you?"

His voice sounded seductive and graceful. There was no sadistic tone left. He switched between his moods almost instantly, leaving no trace of his other personality.

The girl, barely holding on to the last threads of life, weakly nodded her head, trying to see her baby for the last time before she left this world.

But the man did something that destroyed all her hopes. With a smirk on his face, he tossed the child into the air, allowing him to experience a real free fall. The kid screamed all the time, but it did not last long. As soon as the baby crashed on the cold stone floor, the children's screams subsided.

Almost at the same moment, the girl's heart simply stopped, apparently the picture of her child smashing to death was too much for her to handle.

The man looked at the bodies of the mother and newborn son and with an annoyed expression teleported them away from his laboratory, saying: "Another failure, these people are such useless garbage! Well, I have a few others that might end up being a success. After all, if I succeed. I can create the formula for rebirth."

This went on for another day. This man experimented with pregnant girls. They were all pregnant with his own children, but none of them conceived naturally. Even the process of girls getting pregnant was another experiment of his.

This citadel was his hideout, where he did not have to hide from anyone, where he could satisfy his needs and enjoy the activities that he prefers.

The man muttered, "This is my first step. Once I finish it, I'll have to move on and try to create Elder Blood. This world is too small for me. My goals lie beyond this little pile of dirt."

From time to time, he walked around the area and wrote something in his diary, before he loudly said: "Oh, dear August, I have not seen you for many years! I need to visit him and give him a little push. I will need his powers to search in the future".

So one of the readers suggested the best option for the wolf name that I will go for. This is one of the things that are most logical and have a reason behind. What do you think of naming wolf with Hans name?

While the name of the horse will be the Moon.

Tell me what you think about this chapter.
