Chapter Thirty

—Queen Zoë Danae Mnemosyne―

Our eyes met. I know what he is thinking. I have my father's eyes. My father's eyes and my Uncle Albert's eyes are the same. He hated my Uncle for seducing his mate. It was very sad and I know that he is unstable. He needs a psychiatrist or better, to die.

"I will kill you! Then I will have my immortality."

"Do it… kill me now! My wolf screams at him." It was part of the show though.

"Oh… the wolf has finally spoken. Show yourself so we can fight each other."

"Huh, 'show me?' You said you wanted me to die and have your immortality. It's your chance, you know."

He was thrown to the pine tree and a silver chain wrapped around him. Then a spear from nowhere strikes on his forefoot. He growls in pain. I stood and nodded at Haney who is not that far. I told her not to strike him on his heart yet. I smirked at him.

'You have been a very, very bad dog.' I said. I raise my hand and throw fire at him. He was trying to clasp from the chains. 'You demand wolves to reject their mate just to hurt me. I can bare that, but the pain you make in their heart didn't compare to the pain I am giving to you!' I pull a knife from my back.

He laughs and when I looked at my back, Haney has been attacked by something black. She screams I run to her and saw her lying on the ground. She's bleeding. A grey wolf growls and attacks whoever attacks Haney. Her breathing is stable.

'Mate…' I looked at the wolf that shifted into human form. He's her mate? Did he found her?

―Minerva of Wisdom―

I know I felt wrong about this. I knew it. She wasn't dead yet. The Queen and King go in their separate way to corner Seferis. It was the way to kill him. But I know it won't happen if there's a ghost at his back.

I am covering the Blue Moon army while they are attacking. For them not to get any scratch or any bite, I am using my natural ability to give them a shield. I looked at Yves. He was still in his human form breaking the necks of these unstable Lycans. There's another attack from his back and he didn't see it. I throw fire at that wolf and he was thrown to the tree. He glanced at me and I immediately focus on the army. We are winning this game, I know it.

I stopped and my knees fall on the ground. My cousin… one of my cousins is in critical condition. I gasped when a wolf covers me from an attempted attack of the demon. It was Yves. My mate… I feel sad and hurt whenever I saw him.

Anyway, I don't have time to have a drama about my mate. I am not rejecting him and I am not going to love him. I take Prince Chase as the commander for the Blue Moon army. I need to find my cousins. The Queen, I can feel that she's in danger.

"Where are you going?" He asked using a mind link.

To my cousins. Someone is hurt. He howls above and jumps in front of me. Okay, he wanted me to ride him. So I did. I gave him directions.

I jumped off from his back and saw Seferis who is burning from the silver chains that have wolf's bane. Then Danae is kneeling on the ground while Haney is lying on the ground bleeding. There's a man beside him.

I look around and saw something black. I am not mistaken. She's still alive. I told Yves to keep an eye on Seferis. I run to Haney then I hold Zoë's hand. We started healing her with our healing power. I glanced at the nude man but I didn't dare to look down on him. He's familiar. One of the New Moon pack I guess.

I saw Yves fighting Seferis with his claws. I run to Yves's back when I saw that there's a fire attack on him. I caught the fire-throwing it back from where it comes. I narrow my eyes concentrating on the energy and aura of the Black Witch. When Haney is now healed I call my mother and she teleported here. I told her to teleport back in the Kingdom with Haney and her mate… I guess.

Danae removed her coat and shifted into her wolf form. She is really Selene. She is glowing. She had three tails and her eyes are burning. The crown on her head is glowing too to give emphasize that she's the Queen and the Goddess of Moon. I bow at her. Yves and I were thrown to the big tree and the chain on Seferis is broken. He ran away and Selene run after him growling.

I hit the tree so strong and I feel dizzy. I hold my head. My back is more in pain. Yves shifted and before I saw everything on him I close my eyes. Seriously?! I know he's hot and attractive and everything. But to be attractive to him is the last thing I want.

'Geez! Get something to wear.'

'Shut up!' I gasped when he carried me into his arms like a bride. I had wrapped my arms around his nape. I met his grey eyes. I looked at where Seferis and Selene run.

'Follow the Queen.' I told him. He sighed and rolled his eyes and run fast. 'You know you can put me down. I don't really need a ride.' I said coldly. He put me down. I didn't look at him and I just run to where they run.

'Why do you hate me?' he asked.

'What? You see, I don't have time for this. The Queen is in danger. If you keep this drama all over again, we might lose her.'

He shifted to his wolf form and jumped in front of me. His white and black fur is gorgeous… but I have no time for that.

'Climb up.'

'I said I don't need a ride. You go chase them I'll be at your back.' He scoffs rolling his eyes. 'I am not playing on you. Chase the Queen!'

"I am not leaving you here."

'Don't be stubborn! Chase them now!' I use my commander's voice and he did run. I smirked and face her. 'Long time no see…'

I release my wolf and chase after Seferis. I can't use any magical power now. I am in my wolf form. Haney has been hurt and it's cliché to think that she met her mate where she is dying. It might be her last breath and the happiest day of meeting him but it'll be the last time to see him again.

I don't know who attack her but I can feel that my curse is coming back. Someone is there and I don't know who it is.

Seferis stopped and his wounds had been healed already. He stopped and stares at me.

'Selene…' his wolf speaks. It was familiar though.

'Oh… you know me? Of course… I am the Queen of Blue Moon now…'

'Selene… sister… you have reincarnated…'

'What?' I furrowed.

'It's me Helios…'

"I don't know who you are…" I speak not my wolf.

'Helios…' my wolf speaks.

I growl at him when I remember that he's the one who killed my father from protecting my mother. He ran away when Helena got my mother. He's unstable. He's a demon.

He growled back at me. I am now facing Seferis not the mind of his wolf. Helios… I know Helios in Greek mythology. He's the God of the sun. In another name, he is called Apollo. Is he the reincarnation too? If he's Helios then he's my brother at another time. When we are still living as Gods and Goddesses.

'Seferis killed my father!' I growl. Selene is confused now but I am not going to tolerate it. He's unstable and he should be killed.

'Selene… this is your twin brother Helios. I beg you to calm down.'

I growl at him. This time, he isn't my brother. We are now living at a different time. We are now living as half mortals. We are not God and Goddess anymore. I attack him. It was my chance to kill him. I bit his neck and when he comes back to his sense he pushed me and scratched his nails at my back. I jump back and growls at him.

'I don't want to fight with you, Selene.'

'If I need to kill you to stop the darkness, I have to. Reincarnate again, I know father will forgive you and punish that human you are with.'

'Forgive me, sister. I never thought that you'll be back.'

'I am not your sister!' I growl at him. I am not his sister. He killed my parents and my family and my people. Stop this nonsense. He then laughs. It wasn't Helios… it was Seferis. He's taking control of his wolf. Helios didn't have anything to do with his blood lust. If he had my heart and blood, he doesn't need his wolf anymore.

I need to kill him soon. He growls again and I run to our rendezvous. To the cliff. I can feel my mate and Dina. I whimper when Seferis jumped to me and bit my neck. I growl and pushed him with all of my force. I can see the moon where the sun is setting down. I howl and Tobias runs to me. I fall on the ground. My whole body is burning.

I saw an unnatural speed. The Goddess of war and wisdom. Minerva strikes a silver sword to his ribs. She pulls it and strikes another one. Seferis whimpers and fell on the ground. Yves is breathing heavily in a long run.

'Selene…'

'Tobias…' he looks down at me with a hurt in his eyes. Dina knelt showing her fangs and bit her pulse. She pointed her pulse above me. I shifted to my human form and I drank her blood. I feel tingles around my body and I wasn't burning anymore. I can feel the heat of life.

In a snapped Minerva falls on the ground. I didn't see that coming. There is this fast movement that put her to sleep. Seferis is gone too. Where is he?

Yves shifted into his human form, and Dina snapped her fingers to give him white clothing. I had white clothing, too. Like what Goddesses wear. My mate shifted to his human form and had white clothing. He carried me into his arms kissing my head.

'Minerva?' he pulls her arm wrapping it to his arm scooping her face. Dina walks to them holding Minerva's hand. 'What happened to her?'

'She's been poisoned by a powerful potion.' She declares.

'What?!'

'It is black magic. I can't do anything about that now. We have to go now.'

'We won this war, but not for long.' Nathan said. 'We need to go to the town and heal the wounded.'

They nod. Yves carried his mate, and we walk to the town.
