The Weaponmasters

It was 2033 when humanity made its greatest advancement in science, the discovery of the Akashic Records. It is the compilation of all worlds and civilizations in the True Universe. However, just as humanity was prospering, an unprecedented disaster happened. Other worlds and civilizations came and conquered Earth. A myriad of races took a piece of the blessed world. This caused humanity to be degraded into slaves for years. At last, after 333 years, humanity broke free of the grasp of the conquerors. Now, it is 2533, and despite the rise of humans, they were still viewed as inferior species. Could this generation of human Weaponmasters take back the world that was once theirs?

The Paragon Academy

Just like them, countless more individuals started to move. Every individual, regardless of race, who qualified for the requirements to enter the trial of The Paragon Academy traveled to reach the academy.

The month went by quickly. Just like that, the day of the trial arrived. Behind the giant gates of The Paragon Academy, countless individuals from all races on Earth can be seen. They were compacted there like jam. From the view of an avian, it could be seen that the sea of creatures seemed to be never-ending. It was extremely noisy outside. Despite no one shouting, the combination of everyone talking killed the silence.

"This is why we do hidden trials to select those who are qualified to enter The Paragon Academy. Too many creatures, alas," a figure floating above the ground inside The Paragon Academy sighed. He had straight long black hair that reached his hips. He was slowly walking on air as his golden eyes observed everyone outside of the gate. Seven golden halos were floating behind him in an orderly fashion. It moved along with him as if it was part of his body. This was the only discerning factor between his appearance and that of a human.

He finally arrived before the gate. He lowered his flight to match the gate, but he never touched the ground. "Move," he said. He was not shouting, but his Arcane allowed his voice to be heard by everyone outside. With a simple word, the sea of people moved back without contention. Just then, the gates of The Paragon Academy opened.

"What is this?" somebody in the crowd marveled after feeling the warm surge of Arcane coming from the academy. They were only separated by a closed gate before, but the disparity in the quantity of Arcane between them was immense.

The man who opened the gate sighed at the noise made by the shock of the creatures outside. He let out a long breath which contained Arcane. Like a wave, everyone from the front to the back was silenced after the man sighed.

A projection of him was then created above with Arcane. It was a gigantic image that was not missed by anyone from the crowd. He then spoke, "The Paragon Academy has a high standard for anyone. It is without question that all of you must be masters of your own right to enter this school. Therefore, you must be strong enough to pass the trials before being admitted to the academy. Furthermore, you must abide by the rule of being younger than 25. Trust me when I say that I will know. You must have figured out already that I am a pruseas. Our race is built on the virtues of our ancestors. Let me warn you that anyone who would dare deceive me by violating the age rule will be killed. Now, for anyone confident enough to enter The Paragon Academy, go inside."

Hope, excitement, and desire filled the hearts of the applicants after the speech of the pruseas. They were all eager to enter the academy when a giant wave of wind flew out of the pruseas.

"Oh, by the way, I am Hethor, Paladin Class, a B-rank professor here in The Paragon Academy," Hethor added. Terrifying gusts of wind were being released by him to the gates. This prevented most creatures from entering the academy. However, there were still a lot who were able to soldier through.

What greeted them was the plain lands filled with Arcane. There was nothing to see around them aside from grass and land. They moved away from the gust and waited for Hethor.

Meanwhile, the previously flooded area before the gates was almost empty. Remnants of creatures trying to enter the academy were all that was left. Soon enough, creatures from behind the line managed to move into the path of gust. Up until this point, not one human managed to pass through the gates. Other races which had already given up on entering due to the gust, did not fail to mock the other humans.

"You may have been allowed inside, but you are still too weak to enter!" somebody shouted.

However, just as the voice died down, a woman walked past the sea of creatures to the path of gust. She was a lady with golden hair and eyes; she was holding the very sword that was pulled out of a tomb in the cave. She just walked and walked, catching the attention of various creatures around. The other races walking alone with her could only swallow their humiliation as a human walked past them.

Humans, on the other hand, were brimming with pride. They may be unable to withstand the gust of the path, but they felt consoled that a fellow human managed to do it, and without trouble too.

"You go, girl!" a human from the crowd shouted.

The other races were still ashamed of being overtaken by a human, but the blows did not stop. Aeiz, Adriana, and Aethus finally arrived at the path. They immediately caught up to the first girl as they, too, walked without trouble.

"Oh, what party! Humans are hiding their valuable progenies, I see!" A lady with beautiful features similar to that of a human said before leaping to where the group was. Her skin was a little paler, though, and her eyes were blood red.

"Get away, you disgusting vampire!" the girl with golden hair said after the vampire wrapped her arms around her shoulders.

"Oh! I'm sorry," she said with a sarcastic smile, still not removing her arms. "I am Veillie. It is nice to meet you, Rapunzel, is it?"

The sword of the girl immediately moved to cut off the hands of Veillie, but the latter was quick to react. "The name is Ethia, you monster!"

"How short-tempered," Veillie said while licking her lips.

"Of course, they are humans after all, so barbaric," A male elf said. His height towered over Veillie and Ethia as he stood there imposingly while staring at Ethia with a disgusting look using his green eyes.
