A Slime?

Fable sat there in the lotus position cultivating for the next hour before he stopped because he realized he couldn't progress his cultivation fast enough with little to no blood aura around himself.

Unless Fable randomly stumbled across a battlefield filled with corpses and rivers of blood then he would need to stop cultivating and hunt some beasts to use their blood as fuel for his cultivation since the more blood around him the faster his cultivation speed would be.

Fable summoned his light unicorn horn, he didn't summon its twin in case he needed to use his other hand.

Fabke started walking through the forest looking for some animals to kill. He noticed some squirrels and other bugs but he ignored them since they wouldn't have enough blood to show noticeable effects on his cultivation.

Fable continued to walk into the forest until he stumbled across a seen of four blue blobs of jelly surrounding a smaller blob of jelly

"Are those slimes?" Fable asked himself dumbfounded

From what the two gods told the group of students they knew that there would be fantasy monsters around the world that they were to hunt down, but Fable didn't realize this would include slimes... though he wasn't disappointed at this development cause to him the slimes looked kinda... cute.

Fable just stood there behind a tree as he watched four of the slimes surround a smaller slime and they appeared to be threatening it somehow.

Fable was about to take a step behind a tree when he accidentally stepped on a dry branch on the ground which made a loud cracking noise.

The loud cracking noise drew the attention of the four bigger slimes and the little slimes attention, and the little slime took this opportunity to run away from the bigger slimes towards Fable.

Fable was curious about why the slime chose his direction until the slime jumped towards him and Fable was forced to catch the little creature. He looked down at the slime which was in his hand and to him the slime almost seemed to be looking at him with puppy dog eyes as if asking him for help.

Maybe it was because his weakness might have been activated by the slime's cuteness or maybe he just liked cute things, but Fable decided to quickly approach the four slimes and slash down with the white sword in his hand immediately killing one slime.

The other three slimes immediately ran away from Fable after their companion's death, but Fable didn't let them go as his superior body allowed him to reach much faster speeds than a mere slime could ever go and he quickly slashed the three slimes immediately killing them.

After he killed the four slimes Fable brought his attention back to the small slime in his hand which seemed to be smiling even though it didn't have any facial features.

"What a weird little fellow you are, you're smiling after seeing your brethren get mercilessly killed..." Fable muttered

Hearing his words the slime jumped up and down on his hand seemingly in joy.

"How... expressive..." Fable muttered again seeing the slime's reactions.

Fable then put the slime back on the ground before walking back into the forest in a random direction.

"Bye little slime, keep away from bullies since next time I won't be there to solve your problem." Fable waved as he started walking away

The little slime's mood suddenly changed and it seemed sad, but then it seemed to have an idea as suddenly its mood skyrocketed once again, and the little slime started to follow behind Fable.

Fable noticed this and stopped moving before he turned and faced the slime with a serious expression on his face as he crouched down to talk to it.

"Little slime, I will be hunting monsters and beasts in this forest so you cannot follow me or else you might die, and before you complain I know you aren't strong enough since you couldn't even win against those slimes without my help, so walk away." Fable admonished the little slime.

Even after hearing Fable's words the little slime did not move and just glared at Fable in defiance.

Fable sighed seeing the emotions on the little slime. 

"It's not like I can make a contract with you, I'm not a beast tamer... wait, actually that might not be true. I wanted to test it on a monster first anyway..." Fable started mumbling

Suddenly Fable stared at the slime with a serious expression on his face as he used his sword to make a small cut on his thumb.

"Little slime, there is a way for you to accompany me, but you will have to make a covenant with me. If you accept this then take my blood." Fable stated as he held out his thumb to the little slime.

The little blue slime didn't even hesitate before it touched its forehead with Fable's thumb as it absorbed the blood into its body.

Suddenly the slime's body was covered in a pitch-black cloud of mist that Fable couldn't see through when suddenly a window appeared before Fable's eyes.

[You have activated Void Covenant]

[Before Void Covenant can be activated you need a Clan name]

[What will you choose as your Clan name]

Fable's eyes widened in surprise as he read the words on the window. 'A name for my Clan huh?' He thought to himself.

After thinking for a minute Fable thought about his cultivation technique and his Aura core before he decided on the name.

"My Clans name will be Bloodheart" Fable decided

[The Voidbringer Clan Bloodheart has been created]

[Void Covenant has been fully activated]

[You can now name your new Clan member]

"Name the little slime?" Fable muttered to himself while thinking

"Well, since it was fate that brought me to meet you, that'll be your name. Your name is Fate" Fable decided.

[Fate Bloodheart has joined your Void Covenant]

As soon as those words appeared before his eyes, Fable saw the now large black cloud disperse revealing a woman with an appearance around the same age as Fable, and Light blue hair and eyes dressed in a maid outfit. Overall her appearance could be considered cute.

Fable's eyes widened in shock at the sight of the cute maid appearing out of nowhere, and they widened even further at the maid's actions.

The maid curtsied towards Fable before speaking. "Greeting master, I am your servant whom you have bestowed the name Fate Bloodheart which I will cherish forever.

Normally Fable would have been able to react somewhat normally to this surprising turn of events, but not now that he possessed a weakness towards beautiful women.

And the maid before him was definitely beautiful.
