The twin

Marc was a little taken aback looking at the sleeping girl. She looked just like Lisa, except for her nose. While Lisa had a tiny and soft featured nose, this girl had a thin, long and sharp nose.

"Sh... she is the one I saw in the photo alongside mom." Marc kept staring at the girl when suddenly she opened her shining fawn eyes and sat upright looking at Marc, straight in his dark and shocked eyes.

"Arghhhh!!" Marc let out a loud shout, and took a few steps back pinning his back to the wall.

"I am sorry, I did not mean to scare you. But... who are you? And what are you doing here?" The beautiful girl let out an innocent smiled, tilting her head.

Marc looked at the girl with much doubt as he took deep breaths. "I... I am Marc. I met Lisa today and I came back to talk about something very urgent."

"Oh, I see. I am Anna. I am Lisa's twin sister." Anna smiled warmly looking at the scared boy, trying her best to make her relax.

"Oh! Ummm... Hi Anna. S... so you also live here along with Lisa?" The boy frowned hard, yet looking at her with much anticipation.

"Yes, I do. We love to live in woods a few days. Otherwise we do have a house in the city too. Lisa has gone stay in the city with our relatives." Anna smiled warmly and her warmth had already made Marc feel a lot more at ease.

"Oh, so you are normal humans!? Ahem.... I mean then how did Lisa managed to convince a giant dog to stay away from me?" Marc still had a lot of questions in his head and since Anna was answering them all, he wanted to know everything in detail.

"Haha... we have lived in woods ever since we were tiny. The animals love us as they have seen us growing up." Anna got out of the bed straightening up her clothes and smiled looking at Marc. "So, what did you want to ask Lisa? Can I answer it?"

"Umm... y... yes.. actually if you don't mind me asking... wh.. what is your age?" Marc hesitated a bit as his eyes travelled all the way from her head to toe.

She did look exactly like the girl in picture and equally beautiful like Lisa. Marc was yet again astonished by how beautiful she was, just like her twin sister. He could not help but yet ahain look at her long legs, as she walked closer to him. "Why do you want to know my age? Do you want to get married to me?" Anna smirked as she sat down on a bamboo seat, signalling the boy to sit on the adjoining seat.

Marc nodded his head and sat on the seat, now able to look at her face clearly. "Sorry, it is just that today I spotted a lady looking exactly like you, in a picture almost 22 years old. But... you look much younger... and I...."

"I am 21." Anna nodded her head, looking at Marc in much confusion. "Did you say that you saw a similar lady?"

"Yes. Exactly like you. Earlier, she looked like Lisa to me, but now its more like you because of..." Marc was suddenly interrupted by a teary eyed Anna.

"Because of my nose. You are talking about my dear mother... who passed away almost 17 years back... we both sisters were just four when she died." A tear fell down from Anna's eye and Marc looked at the girl in much shock. His heart pinched as he saw Anna get all teary eyed talking about her mother.
