Mutual pain

"I am really sorry! I did not mean to hurt you. I can understand what you are going through. Even I lost both my parents at the age of five. And I think, our parents were friends with each other." Marc sighed cursing himself inside, for making the girl cry.

"Really!?" Anna wiped her tears and looked at Marc in much surprise. "This is amazing. Maybe we can be friends too in that case." Anna smiled and held out her hand.

Marc grinned happily, looking at the excited girl. This was the first time, somebody had initiated being friends with him or he had usually seen terrified and angry eyes right from childhood. "Sure, I would love to be your friend. I am Marc."

Marc placed his hand on Anna's palm as they grinned looking at each other. "And I am sorry, for barging in your room like this. Lisa had scared me to the core telling me that she is drinking blood. But I had spotted your mother in the pictures of my house and could not help coming back. I still do not know, what happened to my parents. Maybe they are alive." Marc sighed sadly, looking down at his hands.

Anna pursed her lips, looking at the sad boy. She then dragged her seat further closer to Marc and planted her hand on his knee, patting it slightly. "I can understand what you are going through. Me and Lisa had just returned from school when our grandmother told us that mother will never return. We kept asking her what had actually happened to her, but she never told us. Nobody in family liked us and after mother's death my father stopped looking after us. He had gone ferocious after her death, leaving me and Lisa all alone to live in each other's company. And don't mind Lisa, she was just trying to scare you so that you don't mean any harm to her." Anna smiled a bit, looking in his sad eyes. "But the moment I saw you, I knew you can never harm me. I trust you Marc."

Marc was a little stunned hearing the girl's warm words. He nodded his head and placed his palm on top of her hand, yet on his knee. "You are the first person, who has put so much faith in me. I will never harm you Anna."

They both looked in each other's eyes for a very long time, feeling a strange attraction instantly. Their hands were interlocked with each other, while under the candles bright light they kept starring in each other's eyes. "You are beautiful Anna."

Anna blushed a little and looked away from him, down at her hands. "Don't! You are making me feel coy Marc."

"I just spoke the truth." Marc raised his hand and lightly touched the girl's cheek, as if checking if she was actually real or some marble statue. "Just checking if a girl this pretty is actually real. Doubts cleared." Marc nodded his head, as he softly grazed his hand again on her cheek.

"Tehehe... do you think I also drink blood like my naughty sister?" Anna grinned, not jerkimg away Marc's hand, giving him much more confidence.

"No. But I thought that you are an angel from heaven or probably a beautiful figmant of my imagination." The boy's hands travelled from her face to her neck and she shivered a bit, but did not stop him at all. "Why cannot I stop touching you? As if I have known you from a very long time." Marc frowned a bit in confusion as his hands further travelled down.

He brought his lips further closer to the girl and before they both even realize, they had planted a deep and passionate kiss to each other for a very long time.
