Friends Support Each Other

Janna's POV:

Thank God it's already time to go home. The events that happened today are really troublesome. My head is hurting just by thinking about it. Let me rewind what happened earlier.

[FLASHBACK]

We entered the classroom and I saw Bill looking at the windows while wearing his headphones. He turned his head at me and our eyes met each other's.

Did he already hear the rumors about me and Eric? What does he think about it? Does he have negative reaction regarding the misunderstanding of my and Eric's relationship? I don't know what he's thinking at all.

The time passed really quick and I didn't realize that it's already recess. I was startled when Sophia and Elaine pulled my hand towards outside the classroom. Kristoffer and Gilbert are already there waiting for us.

John's POV:

After the school bell for recess rang, Sophia immediately stood up and ran to Janna's seat. I saw Sophia and Elaine pulled Janna's hand and went towards the door where Kris and his friend are currently waiting. It kinda made me sad to think that they didn't talk to me nor invited me for recess. Maybe it's also my fault since I gave them a cold shoulder last time.

Janna's POV:

"Let's stay in the Student Council's Office for the mean time. The Student Council Officers doesn't have a meeting today so it's empty by now." Sophia proposed.

"But why? And aren't we supposed to buy our food first?" I asked.

"Don't worry about it... Kristoffer already have them." Sophia pointed her finger to Kristoffer who is currently holding a lot of snacks.

"But what are we going to do there?"

"You need to lay low for now since the rumors will become active again once they saw you. We need to hide in the Office to ensure that no one will hear our conversation. After all, you still have some explaining to do."

"Yeah."

"But how can we enter the office? You're the one who said that there's no meeting of Student Council Members so the Student Council Office is probably locked by now." Gilbert asked Sophia.

"It seems that you've already forgot, Gilbert... These friends of ours, Sophia and Kristoffer are members of Student Council. The President and the Vice President, at that. Of course, the key is naturally being kept by Sophia so there's no problem about the locked office." Elaine explained clearly.

"Do you really have no idea about it? You're my friend but you don't even know I belong to the Student Council? You're hurting my feelings, Gilbert." Kristoffer said while feigning his crying gesture.

"It's not like I'm interested in those kinds of things. What's important is that I'm regularly going to school, right?"

"Well, you have a point there..."

"Ok, stop talking now... Are we going or not?" Sophia is clanging the keys she's holding.

"Yeah, sorry."

When we arrived at the Student Council Office, we were amazed to see the broad space of the room and the relaxing and homey motif inside. Almost all of the things that will be needed in every situation that someone will expect can be seen inside and on top of that, all of it are luxury items. There's a terrace where you can see the clear view of the small garden here in our school. There's also a complete set of gadgets - television, laptop, and personal computers for the members' necessities and entertainment. Not to mention, an enormous bookshelf beside the couches that contains a lot of valuable and informative books for their studies and researches.

Aside from those things that I've mentioned, there's also a lot of doors inside this room. There's a kitchen with complete cooking equipments, a comfort room, and a secret room that contains all of the confidential documents about the students of this school ever since its founding year. You can just live in here, literally. Well, all of the benefits that the Student Council Members get to experience really do them justice considering the tedious and difficult tasks they're dealing with everyday.

"You can sit wherever. I'll just get some drinks in the kitchen."

"I'll help you, Sophia."

"Thanks, Kris!"

(After a few minutes)

"So, what was the rumors about you and Kris all about? Is there a truth behind it?" Sophia started to confront me.

"About that... It's true."

"What?! And you didn't tell us anything about it?!" Elaine shouted at me.

"I know that you will worry about me when you knew about it especially that Eric is infamous for bullying and picking fights with other people, and I don't want that to happen. Also, I don't want the whole school to know about it because I know that this will cause a ruckus among them so I chose to keep it a secret."

"I see... But the question now is, how are you going to deal with Eric? Do you have any plans of rejecting him or accepting his confession?" Elaine asked me a difficult question.

"I... I don't know. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now."

"But in case of bumping into him inside the school, just act normally so that he won't notice that you are bothered about his confession. We also need to lie to our schoolmates and tell them that there's no authenticity on the rumors that's going around. I think that Eric won't like the school to talk about him either so it's a win-win situation for the both of you." Sophia explained.

"I understand. Thanks Sophia!"

"No problemo."

My eyes met with Kristoffer's eyes and he averted his eyes away. Kristoffer is acting weird.

Kristoffer's POV:

I have a crush on Janna for about 9 years now. I guess the things about her and Eric made me feel upset somehow. I know that she doesn't feel something special about me. If anything, she treats me like her own little brother. I don't how I should act if ever she chose to accept Eric's confession.

I just wanted for her to be happy. As long as she'll be happy with Eric, I have no problem with it, probably.

Unknown's POV:

"Kimberly, are you ready? Did you already pack up all of your things?"

"Yes, I'm all ready. What about you? Are you excited to meet Bill?" She asked.

"Is that even a question? That goes without saying..." I answered decisively.

"That's good. We should go now then."

"Ok, Kim."

I wonder how's Bill doing right now? How will he react when he sees me and Kim? I'm excited to be with him.

Bill's POV:

I feel like something bad will happen. I don't know why but I felt a chill down my spine just now.
