....The news about Tony's "attack" was quickly blocked out of the news. For it might have caused unwanted panic amongst the citizens because a man who can go around twisting more than a dozen firearms into junk metal might come across as dangerous.

However, this information was quickly reported layer by layer, to higher-level officials in the government.

And one such place was S.H.I.E.L.D.

Phil Coulson ran in with his eyes were full of excitement as he entered an office, waving a document around: "He's back, he's really back!"

Fury turned his back to him, and at that moment was quietly looking, into the city and nodded calmly: "I heard about it an hour ago, and managed to arranged for the psychological team to look at every move he made after he appeared in New York"

Fury might have sounded calm but his clenched fists were already full of sweat, and his heart was beating out of fright.

Coulson not paying much attention impatiently said with jagged breathes "The result?"

Fury turned around slowly, his stern face gazed down at Coulson. Nothing could be heard inside the office, when suddenly furry put on a soft smile: "Yes it was a perfect match, Coulson, the founder of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back"

Coulson shook his fist fiercely in triumph as he said "But how did he do it? He took on the Red Skull with Captain America, then fell into the sea... How did he survive for over sixty years... and stay so young?"

Fury couldn't help but shrug at such an impossible question: "Who knows, he was one to always create miracles, like he always did during World War II... It turned out that he was always right about things even things that had no right to be true..." Fury couldn't help but lament about the past, as Coulson eagerly listened to new tales.

"S.H.I.E.L.D an organization he founded, and he even demanded, telling everybody it was best to have something stored in the back to safe guard the future... And back then, I was part of the first batch of S.H.I.E.L.D agents he recruited"

Fury took a moment to pull himself out of those days and laughed "Coulson, I have a mission for you"

Coulson tensed immediately "I would like to serve you, sir"

"Get in contact with David and find out his next plan, and especially make sure to figure out how he had survived for more than half a century. It would be best to know if it could be easily replicated, but don't push the subject... At the same time your top priority is to know if he's the David we know, I'm concerned that someone has taken his cells and cloned them"

"I understand" Coulson Said taking in a deep breath, as he turned around and walked out of the office.

After checking left and right to make sure no one was there, he solemnly took out a stack of children's collectable cards from his pockets.

Each card features a semi realistic character, and one so happened to have David on.

He grew up listening to this man's story, and he admired him the most.

Now knowing he has the opportunity to get in touch with a life-long idol brought a devilish grin to his face. Even though Coulson had undergone strict psychological training, but at this moment he couldn't help but let his childish side out.

Fury quietly watched Coulson's disappearing figure, and after he was left alone, the smile on his face slowly faded, and he frowned lightly:

"David...I hope it's really you, and not some cobbled together biological experiment made by some troublesome organization... The Hulk was already one too many" he said as he rubbed his brow.

It could be said that the only person who knows David the best in this day and age was Fury himself.

Because David, was a veteran during the war, Fury at the time had followed David through bloody battles. And after being injected with the "infinite formula" invented by Professor Berg, he also had some increased physical abilities plus also gaining an increased lifespan far beyond that of an ordinary person.

And if the David he knew really had come back, it would definitely cause a lot of uproar, because it was just the way David was.

Not to mention the violent impact his return would have on the mind, culture and history, of today's world.

That's not taking into account the various works, books and blueprints David had left behind before his death, which after World War II have continued to this day to have played an extremely important role in the stability of the world.

If nothing else, his Krypton Technology Corp, that was founded by David, and with the company specialized in world-class technology that catered in human prosthetics for decades, which developed many automatic mechanical prostheses, and in recent years managed to make a break through brain wave understanding.

With these boundaries being broken information flow, from the brain to the mechanical prosthesis implanted on the body allowed the company to shoot through the roof.

Even Osborn's Group is being as friendly as possible to the Krypton Technology corp.

Even if a David returns after more than half a century, he is bound to generate waves which will cause unforeseen variables.

And as the head of S.H.I.E.L.D, Fury could say the thing he hates the most is the unknown.

"David you seems to have become stronger, and the fog surrounding you has not decreased in the slightest, but only deepened...? I see you've picked up a new tricks" Fury in the emptiness of his office spoke aloud.

Fury kept looking through the information at his disposal, as he rubbed his bald head.

Tech companies... mechanical prosthetics... lasers emanating from his eyes...

Fury vaguely grasped at some straws making very abstract connections, but didn't seem to see the whole picture as it was still to fragmented.

"I just hope whatever happened turns out to be good news, and since David's still alive, maybe Steve's alive as well..."

Fury took a deep breath and directly started to make a phone call: "I want you to deploy a special squadron to the North Pole immediately, and you'll get the information on arrival, but in short, do this first, and don't forget to take all kinds of engineering equipment."
