Eris had not even waited for the plane to land properly before taking a risky jump down to West Side City grounds. Taylor followed suit while he cursed the crazy fate that brought about these things. 

Eris kept on dialing Rhea's number persistently. But no matter how much he tried, the call was immediately sent to voicemail. He could not help but worry. 

Taylor drove him straight to the apartment Rhea shared with Claire in a begrudging manner. He stole a glance at Eris. The stoic man sat straight in the back of the car. He fist was clenched in his thigh till his knuckles turned white. His jaw to ticked to show how desperate he felt. 

"We—" 

Just as Taylor was about to announce their arrival to the apartment, Eris had already left the car and was taking long strides closer to the apartment. The urgency in his steps did not falter a bit.
