It was getting dark when they see the army of Saruman approach Helm's Deep making Bran look serious as he looked at his right hand and says to himself, "They are too many for me to swallow them into the Black Hole."
He sighs as his feeling became true. The army was too big for him and Celine to handle them even with the support of the little army.
"I knew the day would come but that it came this fast is really a disappointment," says Bran as he was about to enter it he turned around and says, "No, I can't inform them or she will try to stop me."
Bran looked at the enemy that was approaching when someone appears beside him and says, "Don't do it."
"Why not. We will all die one day be it sooner or later it doesn't make a difference Great-Grandfather," says Bran as he turned around to find Jack standing there.
"If you do that you won't only die but you will never be able to return to your family," says Jack worried about Bran.
"If I can save them by doing it why not but before I do this I need to take care of something," says Bran as he knocked on the door of the meeting room.
"I hope you know what you are doing," says Jack as he disappears as Bran enters and waves at Celine and Legolas to meet him outside.
The two leave the room and Bran points at the enemy troops when he says, "We will dine in hell it seems."
"So it looks like. Even we both together won't be able to hold them back under the best circumstances," says Celine as Bran put his hand on Celine's shoulder and knocked her out by surprise.
Legolas was surprised as he drew his bow pointing at Bran while asking, "What are you doing?"
"The right thing. Celine doesn't need to die today not the others inside this fortress. It only needs one dead today to make the enemy retreat for a while giving you all enough time so the reinforcements can arrive and you can defeat the enemy," says Bran as Legolas was confused until he realized why Bran knocked Celine out.
"You can't do that!" shouts Legolas as Bran looked at him.
"I can and will but I will need someone to look after my older sister. She will lose a part of herself and you seem to love her making you the right candidate for this mission," says Bran looking at the enemy from the wall while saying, "Just promise me to be by her side forever. Because I won't be able to do so."
"I hope you made your peace," says Legolas seeing the determination in Bran's eye as Bran smiles sadly at him.
"I made my peace the moment I put my eye-patch on. Now it's time to pay the price that I didn't pay four years earlier," says Bran as he kissed the forehead of his sister before jumping from the wall.
Legolas picked Celine up and brought her away to her bed when the other three began to search for them finding Legolas and Celine.
"What happened?" asks Gimli seeing Celine out as Legolas looked at them.
They could see the sadness in his eyes making Boromir and Aragorn feel nervous as Aragorn says, "That Bastard didn't just-"
But was interrupted as they heard battle noise coming from outside. Aragorn and Boromir rushed out while Gimli was confused about what was going on when he followed Aragorn and Boromir.
"What is going on?" asks Gimli confused.
"Bran that is what is going on. He went to fight the troops alone," says Aragorn angrily as they arrived at the wall finding a line of fire separating Helm's Deep and the enemy.
They could see a man behind the fire with a club on his shoulder as a dark cloud appeared over the battlefield making Lightning hit some enemies around him.
"Why is that idiot fighting them alone!" shouts Gimli angrily seeing Bran on the frontline when Boromir and Aragorn lost their anger and became sad.
"Because he is sacrificing himself for all of us," says Boromir as he sees Bran rush at the enemy.
Bran kills with every swing of his club entering the center of the enemy force as he smiled while his blood was rushing in his veins. He seemed more of a madman than a hero as he was surrounded by his enemies when he cloned himself trying to save his chakra and ki by doing so.
The clones fell one after another while Bran was been scratched by the weapons of his enemies making him smile as he ripped his eye-patch from his eye and the earth began to tremble taking everyone's attention.
His eyes changed into his Mangekyou Sharingan and his enemy suddenly begin to burn in black flames while the pentagram appeared over his palm making the enemy turn into dust while his skin began to turn slightly red while steam was coming out of it.
He suddenly disappeared and appeared again in another position as he swung his club making Arda tremble under his club.
The Orcs felt something they never felt before while Bran was laughing like a maniac when his arm suddenly fell off making the enemy feel scared because every sane person would be screaming from the pain and not laughing how Bran was doing when suddenly pressure raised around them holding them down while Bran rushed at them when he suddenly began to limp and fell before them
They saw it and rushed at him when Bran stood back and his power spiked and shouts, "The last deed of the Monster known as Bran Crownguard!"
He smiled as they rushed him when his ki went to an inhuman level and says, "I will dine in hell but I won't be there alone."
The Orcs still rushed him when Bran released all his ki creating a giant explosion that killed most of the main force with him. The Orcs retreated as they needed to reform after what happened while the people of Helm's Deep were cheering that the enemy was retreating.
Aragorn and Boromir were mourning while Gimli didn't know what to feel when he rushed for the gate hoping to find at least something belonging to Bran to bring it back so he could have an honorable burial once Helm's Deep was safe.
"Open the damn gate before I break it with my ax!" shouts Gimli as the men had orders not to open it when Éomer heard them.
"What is going on here?" asks Éomer as he sees Gimli with his ax in hand.
"One of my friends is out there. I need to save at least something of his remains," says Gimli as Éomer looked at him shocked understanding what Gimli meant.
"Open the gate. I will go outside as well with the dwarf," says Éomer as he went to get his horse.
He came back riding his horse when he helped Gimli up and they ride outside to the battlefield. They see everywhere corpses of orcs while Gimli pointed at the center when he finds Bran's eye-patch.
They continued searching when more people came outside seeing their commander there with their dwarf comrade as they seemed to search for something or someone. Many joined them as Aragorn and Boromir found the strength to join them as well.
They wandered the battlefield finding Bran's club and left arm. They couldn't move the club but could save Bran's arm as they carried it while trying to find Bran's corpse when they find light bubbles float into the sky.
They go to that position and find a woman holding only an upper-body when Gimli took his helmet off seeing who it was as the bubbles of light came out of Bran.
In the meantime somewhere in the east, John and Nesiara were resting with Sam and Frodo when they felt the ground tremble as Nesiara stood up from her position making Frodo and Sam look at her confused.
"What is going on?" asks Frodo worried seeing the expression of Nesiara as he turned towards John who had a grim expression as well.
"My son took off his eye-patch. That means we underestimated the enemy," says John as he looked at Nesiara and continues, "You should go. I can look after the two while you say your goodbye."
"What do you mean by 'say your goodbye.'?" asks Frodo as Sam seemed to understand what John meant.
"He meant that Bran is going to die," says Sam sad as John nods.
"We knew that one day this would happen but not that it would be this early," says John in a sad tone as he stood up and looked at Nesiara.
"Go," says John as he looked at her since he wants to be there as well but that wouldn't be possible.
"I will be back in a moment," says Nesiara as she disappeared from the camp.
She appeared on the battlefield that was completely empty with corpses everywhere as she looked for her son when she hears someone breathe on the vacant battlefield.
She follows the breathing as she finds the upper-body of Bran who was still breathing. He was only having his right arm connected to his upper-body.
"No no no, why would you do something so stupid," says Nesiara as she looked the state of her son.
"Mot-her," says Bran slowly as he had trouble already to breathe making speaking almost impossible.
"Don't speak," says Nesiara as she tried to use magic to regrow his lost limbs when it didn't work she asks confused, "Why does it not work?"
"Mot-her, we bo-oth know why it does no-ot work," says Bran as blood began to come out of his mouth.
"We all knew that I needed to pay this price sooner or later. No one can escape Death only evade it and I evaded it for four more years thanks to our family," says Bran as it felt easier to talk again without blood in his lungs.
"Why do something stupid like this?" asks Nesiara as she began to cry from seeing her son dying in her arms.
"It was either everyone or me," says Bran as he takes a breath of air and continues, "They were too many for the people of Helm's Deep to fight against. *breath in* We would all have died if I didn't take the eye-patch off. *spewing blood out before breathing in again* I was trying to buy them some time until reinforcement arrives."
"Where is your sister?" asks Nesiara as Celine would never have allowed Bran doing what he did.
"She is sleeping right now. I had to knock her out before I pulled this out. She will wake up tomorrow," says Bran as his body began to radiate and bubbles of light began to fly into the night sky.
"It seems I will be joining Great-Great-Grandmother," says Bran as people began to surround them when they saw Gimli without his helmet on.
He walked forward holding Bran's eye-patch while another man brought his left arm forward when Bran smiles at Gimli who says sadly, "Here is your eye-patch. You shouldn't die without it."
"Keep it, Gimli. Where I am going I won't need it but my arm will be quite useful," says Bran as he grabbed his arm.
It began to shine like him as he smiled and says, "Don't forget Middle-Earth is depending on you all. I hope I killed enough orcs so you have a fair chance against them."
"You have made a great sacrifice for Rohan and I won't forget it," says Éomer as he kneeled down before Bran and Nesiara.
Bran's body began to dissolve as it floated into the night sky joining the stars when he says with a smile, "We will meet again, Mom."
Then his head dissolved completely as Nesiara couldn't believe that her youngest died today. She screamed into the air as her hair began to stand up while turning slowly blue making the ground shake from her power when Jack appeared and knocked her out.
He caught her and says, "I'm sorry about what happened. But she needs to collect herself or she might destroy Arda in her grieving. If you really want to honor Bran let the club be his gravestone."
Then Jack left as if he never was there with Nesiara bringing her to the camp in which John was looking at the fire while the Hobbits were already sleeping.
