The group was confused with what just happened because one second everything was normal and the next the man beside the King fell over while the King tried to stand up.
Eowyn ran over to her uncle's side helping him up as she says, "You shouldn't move too much in your condition."
The King could see the relieved look on his niece's face making him feel sorry as he says, "It seems that the spell was broken by your new friends. I know of Bran, Prince of the Elves but who are the other four?"
"Boromir and Aragorn," says Boromir as he bowed to the King when the Hobbits did the same and Boromir continues, "Those two are Pippin and Merry. They are quite adventurous Hobbits."
"I have to give you my thanks for freeing me from the spell but it seems I need to recover my strength before I can reward you but even then we won't have much time because I need to lead my men to Helm's Deep," says the King as he could only stand with Eowyn's help right now.
"We don't need a reward just your men in Helm's Deep as fast as you can lead them. We will be waiting for you there. I need to send a message to Lórien now before we depart for Helm's Deep," says Bran as he was ready to depart right away.
"Bran, what did you really do?" asks Aragorn as he didn't believe that Bran dealt with everything in a second.
"I just pulled the King and the snake called Gríma into an illusion that my eye created. Time flows slower in that illusion making a second pass in reality while you can be trapped up to three days in it. You can die in the illusion if I allow it or you will only experience it before coming back," says Bran as he walked forward towards Gríma and picked him up.
"Should I deal with him right away?" asks Bran looking at Eowyn and her uncle.
"No, he will be publicly executed for what he did," says the King as Bran let go of Gríma.
"Your problem then. We should let you rest," says Bran as he placed a seal on Gríma so he wouldn't be able to influence the King again while he isn't around.
Then Bran was about to walks out of the room followed by the four when he stopped because he had a bad feeling about what was about to happen and says, "Could you do me a favor and look after the Hobbits and bring them with your army. I don't want them near Helm's Deep with a low number since I won't be able to face their friends if they died."
"What! You can't do that!" shouted Merry and Pippin protesting against Bran's decision when Boromir and Aragorn became suspicious.
Bran was normally confident that he could keep everyone safe like right now when they entered the Palast. But now he asked for a favor to keep the Hobbits safe this was too suspicious.
"I will keep them safe until we ride into battle together from there it will be difficult to keep them safe," says the King as Bran can understand it.
"That would be good enough they will draw their first blood with you," says Bran as he knocked the two Hobbits out.
"Look after them. Aragorn, Boromir, we are leaving right away," says Bran seriously as they left the Hobbits behind.
They pick their weapon outside and left right away when Boromir asks, "Why did you insist on leaving the Hobbits behind?"
"Just a gut feeling that something bad will happen once we are in Helm's Deep," says Bran as they arrived at the stables and ride towards Helm's Deep while Bran sends Koltox with a message for the Elves in Lórien.
In the meantime, Celine and the other two were prepared for the war as they were helping the people when Legolas says, "The situation is quite grim as well as the morale of the troops. They believe that it will be their last battle against Saruman."
"It seems so. I really hope that Nora hits Saruman before he can send his troops or we are done," says Gimli as Celine was watching from the wall feeling the ki of her family.
"It seems Bran is already on his way here. They must have already dealt with the problem that was plaguing the King," says Celine as she felt that Nora was still traveling West making it obvious that she hasn't arrived at the forest yet while her parents were flowing east of her.
"I hope so, we can only hold this fortress as long as we have men to fight for this cause. Bran can be quite a change since he is a giant of a man that should give the men a morale boost," says Gimli as Celine smiles.
"I just hope that nothing bad happens because I have a bad feeling about us been stuck in here," says Celine seriously as Gimli and Legolas now looked grim at her.
"Did you have to say that to the only two men that had hope to win this war just a second ago," says Gimli as Celine smiles again.
"Who said that we wouldn't win. It's just that I have this bad feeling coming and going once in a while. Bran must be feeling the same," says Celine as she was genuinely worried about what would happen soon.
Three days pass as three horses appeared in the distance coming for the fortress as Celine says, "It seems Bran is here with the others."
"I think we should be able to win now that we have them back, but why are they without the Hobbits?" asks Gimli as he could see them now better.
"Maybe Bran had the same feeling like I and left them behind somewhere safe," says Celine as she still had this bad feeling.
They arrived at the gate of Helm's Deep and were let in by the people of Rohan as they dismounted when their three friends received them.
Celine and Bran hugged each other as it almost looked like a bear was hugging a maiden because he lifted her up into the air before he greeted the other two almost the same way.
"Where did you leave the Hobbits?" asks Celine as Bran looked serious.
"I left them in Edoras. I had a bad feeling about this," says Bran as Celine nods at him worried since she wasn't the only one having this feeling.
"So how is the situation around here?" asks Boromir as the three sighed from hearing his question.
"It is quite bad. We have enough men to hold the walls but even with the sun over our heads, it will be hard to win this battle," says Celine as she was the strongest as long as when the sun up.
"Then let us hope that they never attack when the sun is down," says Aragorn as Bran looked serious.
"Do we know how many people we will be facing?" asks Bran as he was thinking when Celine shakes her head.
"We don't know. The only thing we know is that they outnumber us and nothing more," says Celine worried as Bran was now worried as well looking at his right hand.
"If we are lucky it is just enough for me to handle with the Black Hole if not we are knee-deep in shit," says Bran as they walked on the wall when Éomor encounters them.
"Were you able to convince the King?" asks Éomer worried as Bran nods making him feel hope.
"Good if he comes in time we would be able to win here," says Éomer when Bran shakes his head.
"It will need a miracle for him to get here in a week since he is still weak. We will need to hold the line until his reinforcements arrive," says Bran shattering the hope of Éomer when Bran continues, "But for your luck, you still have the strongest warriors of Middle-Earth beside you. We should be able to hold the line until they arrive."
"Let's hope so," says Éomer as the group continued walking while Éomer needed to coordinate his men.
"The situation will now become more dire because you told him the truth," says Gimli as Bran could understand his point of view.
"But it would be better to know the truth than to wait for reinforcements that might never come," says Bran as he thought that dying while believing in a false promise was wrong even if it gave them hope.
"Anyway, now begins the waiting game," says Aragorn as they looked at what would become the battlefield in the next few days.
Two days pass when a scout returns alone barely breathing as he informed Éomer of the invading troops making him turn pale as his scout died in his hand.
He called for the group and his commanders and says, "They outnumber us 1000 to 1 or even more. We will have to hold the line and lower their numbers as much as possible to give the others the chance of defeating them."
Éomer was hinting that they would die while fighting as the number was just too big for them to fight against and win.
He prepared his men before turning to the group while saying, "You should leave while you can and find my uncle to inform him about what happened."
"Sorry but no," says Bran as he wouldn't retreat from this situation and continues, "My mother gave us the order to hold Helm's Deep because it is the fortress to decide if Rohan falls or stands."
"He is right and the Elves of Lórien are on their way to help so we won't retreat," says Celine as Éomer sighs because he didn't want to have their blood on his hands as well.
"You worry too much. You should only worry about your tactics. We all have decided to fight here. Every single person by your side so think of tactics to keep this battle going on until the Elves and the Rohirrim arrives," says Bran as he left the room again when Celine followed him.
"Don't even think about it," says Celine as Bran smiles at her.
"I won't," says Bran lying to his twin as he went to take a walk.
