Our Reporter was in his office sorting his files and the pictures he had taken, the notes he had written were piling up but the important one was his Friday column, he had titled it: The Storytelling Trio, and this would be his third week writing it, but now he had to give it a different approach, since he had been defeated on this occasion, Ruth did not know how to accommodate the story so that it would appeal to his readers, the story of this reporter goes back to his parents, The great Reporter James Right had covered some of the best news and had been offered interviews with every soldier in the war, he went to her and even brought back news about the rebel army, he was the best reporter and spy the country could get, thanks to all that fame, Ruth always considered journalism as the best job in the world, going on TV, giving interviews, attending events as a guest, but Ruth always considered journalism as the best job in the world, But the reality is never that simple, Ruth could hardly get a job in a newspaper, she worked hard covering crashes and suicides for more than 3 years, going through every section of the newspaper, from regional, to local, to sports and social, Yet the stories that most interested Ruth were the paranormal section and the Mystery column, her hero, the great writer Charles Lue, had instilled in her a love for everything related to detective work and finding the truth, and it was no wonder why, a way of writing his name made her believe that fate had left her such a task, Theodor Ruth or also known as her T-plate. Ruth, after writing several notes for the Mystery column of one of the most important newspapers in the capital, he was invited to a job interview, his investigations and the way he told the stories had managed to please one of the editors in chief, he went straight to the interview and was hired on the spot, But Ruth's life was not so easy even with the position he had always dreamed of, the notes they sent him to review were ridiculous, people who pretended to have been possessed, murderers who blamed supernatural entities, crazy emos who broke into abandoned houses, even a lady who swore she had seen an archangel, it was simply idyllic,

Ruth had been very disappointed, and many of the stories that people told him and that were published were modified by him, he was tempted many times to make up a story for himself, but the legacy that his mother had given him prevented him, his name was well planned by his mother before he was born, His father being a baseball fanatic and knowing the nickname of the famous Baby Ruth, decided that even though it was a woman's name, it would fit well with the T, to give that nickname to his son and that he would always live with the truth in his life, everything went downhill for Ruth's life, until he got the note from those three young boys, A fanatic had written down the boys' stories and sent them to the newspaper, "The Howl on the Hill", "The Red Tights", "Heavenly Fire", "The Human Eating Tree", they were all stories too fantastic to be true, Ruth went from a strange taste to an obsession, he could not stop thinking about them, he revealed the lies that he believed could have been and with a smile he went to face them two weeks ago, achieving a victory in the first encounter, Ruth published that week's Saturday Mystery Column, and on Sunday they received no less than 247 letters inquiring about that story, all with anticipation and excitement, many calling the children liars, but still all agreeing that it had been the most interesting column yet, Ruth could not contain her excitement and that same Sunday she wrote a response to each of the 247 letters, causing an increase in the sale of the newspaper for such a story, the Chief Editor ordered Ruth to go to that place every Friday and beat those kids at their game, and increase the sales rating, but the streak had ended in the third encounter with them, not only had he been defeated, but being alone in his cubicle analyzing the story again, it had been perfect, they beat him with every word, and the worst thing is that he didn't even think about the lies that were provided to him, taking the records, the kids had never told the truth after winning, so it was all to rub it in his face, in spite of them, Ruth did not feel depressed or angry, his excitement was increasing every minute he analyzed the scenario, he had rivals, it would not be over so quickly, and he could continue the column, but to write it honestly was his conclusion, His T Name. Ruth was at stake, the Truth would prevail and perhaps her defeat would also improve the enthusiasm of her readers, since she is not invincible, rather exciting, Ruth closed her notebook and began to write the Storytelling Trio Column, smiling at each word that appeared on her screen, when she finished she left her work on the publication table, closed her briefcase and left her office turning off the light, giving a last smile to her work and muttering to herself, "Next week I won't lose".
