Chapter : 15 Behind the Scenes

Ella went to the directors office. Mr. Joe called her inside and asked the why she did such a stupid mistake.

" But sir I am telling you that I had checked the patient a little while before and he was fine then . I do not know how all this happened." Ella said trying to justify herself.

"No matter what, Miss Ella it is still your fault to be neglecting your work. If any thing were to happen to that patient who would have taken the responsibility, you could have drag down the reputation of the whole hospital with this little mistake of yours. any how considering your previous work and ability I am forgiving you this time but there should not be any next time. do you understand" he said aggressively.

"Yes, Sir I am sorry for all this. I will be careful from now on." she said apologizing.

"You better be" he replied firmly. "Ok , You may go now".

"Yes , Sir." saying this she walked outside.

As she was going to her office she encountered Kate. out of all people why does it had to be her , she thought. she was already in a bad mood and did not wanted to start a fight with her , she tried to avoid her but she blocked the way and said,

"Tch Tch, who knew this would happen and to our miss Ella out of all people. but you know what this is karma. you always act so high and mighty but look at you now. how can you made such kind of mistake.' she said boasting off.

"Ha! can you please not annoy me at this moment I really do not want to talk to you." Ella said rolling her eyes.

"I think the director really showed you your place, so you better not forget this humiliation if you are not shameless." she said to annoy her.

"You.. Oh!! I get it now, so it was all your doing. I get it now. But just to humiliate me in front of every one how can you possibly play with others life. being a doctor how can you go this far. I really did not expected this from you."

" Huh! how can you blame all your fault on me like that."

"Because I know that it was really you behind the curtains. ever since I have joined the hospital you have despised me and tried to harm me in any possible way. but this time you have gone too far."

" that is right I hate you and your existence, I hate how everyone like you and how you act so high and mighty in front of every one and I hate the most when you are with Noir."

"Oh, so it was all related Noir after all. but even so how can you do this, what if something bad had happened to that patient. huh? " Ella said angrily.

"So what. maybe it was even better because that way I won`t have to see you anymore. and you had left the hospital forever and even so I did every thing you don`t have any evidence to prove it anyway." she said and smirked.

"Hah! I can`t say any thing . you are just too much. but one thing I assure you I will find out the evidences and will show your true face to every one so be prepared,' she said warning her.

" Oh yeah, Well then we will see about it who will get whom first.' she said challenging. Ella nodded her head smiled back at her and went away saying "we will se then."

Due to this accident Ella`s reputation had been quite affected. there were several rumor about her, this has also affected her professional life but this all really did not bothered her at all because she was already used to the bitter words of the people and their indifference. what bothered her was that Noir had not even once came to see her after that day and did not even came to ask about the current situation.

While sitting in the café with Jayson, she was still absorbed in thinking what to do now and how to make everything back to normal. "Hey ,are you listening? " Jayson asked as he realized she was lost somewhere.

"Huh! what? What were you saying? " she broke away from her thoughts.

'seriously, I have been talking for an hour and look at you, lost in your own thoughts." he complained.

"I am really sorry. actually I am going through a problem so I was just about the solution."

"problem? what kind of problem? tell me . Maybe I will be able to help.

"No, it is fine I will think of a way myself, don`t worry."

" So you still don`t have confidence in me huh? "

"No it is not like that..'

"That is fine because everything is going to be good once I came."

"What do you mean?"

"Well I had applied for intern in your hospital and guess what? they approved me, now i will be always by your side and we will solve the problems together," he said happily.

"Really, that`s good news. so welcome in advance. and for this good news, today will be my treat." she said encouraging him.

Days passed by, Jayson had joined the hospital and with his goofy personality he got adjusted in no time and also became aware of the relation between Kate and Ella. on the other hand Ella was busy finding the evidences to clear her name. but who knew that another storm was still waiting for her. maybe her fate was too complicated that it did not gave her a sigh of relief for even a second. maybe her life was too hard to go smoothly. and maybe her opponents were too strong....

one normal day she came to the hospital as usual but did not knew which storm was awaiting her. it was a bit unusual today, her sixth sense was telling her that something bad was about to happen. as she passed through the reception she could her some whispers. as she kept going who ever saw her started to whisper around and gave her an uncomfortable look. like she was a criminal or something. she had faced these kind of situations before too. these questioning gazes and these uncomfortable whispers. she understood the situation. a rumor about her was spread through out which she did not had the idea.

Meanwhile, a group of some doctors came and one of them said,' I did not knew that you were this kind of person, Miss Ella. You always acted so high and mighty but in reality was this kind of person,'

Ella was confused what was going on she really did not had a bit of the idea. "What do you mean by that? " she asked.

"you are still asking us. don`t you know yourself better. I even feel disgusting to talk about it. how come we did not knew this long that you were this kind of person" said another one.

'but what exactly are you talking about?'" she protested.

"don`t worry I will tell you what is going on?" said Kate coming from behind and this gave Ella a hint that she must had again done something to embarrass her in front of every one but to what lengths she had gone this time Ella really did not knew .
