Dantian opening and awakening

The guards of star fall city left the city and went in different paths to search for Charlie. They were ordered to bring him back dead or alive. The citizens were curious as they saw hundreds of guards marching out of the city,causing different types of rumor to spread.

However,this had nothing to do with Charlie as he sat atop the top of the mountain, braving through the cold winds as he sat still with his eyes closed.

"Hopefully,I'll be able to feel it this time. I can't afford to waste any time. I need to be able to awaken before searching for the treasure if not I'll become food for the beasts in the forest".Charlie knew that humans weren't the only the living beings in this world.

Other than humans,there were wild beasts that lived in the forests. They were fierce in nature and very unfriendly towards humans. Also,there was also magical beasts which were wild beasts that cultivated spirit qi like humans. They were stronger than wild beasts and possess minor control over elements.

He knew that if he didn't manage to open his dantian and awaken,he might not even get there before losing his life. His father had initially wanted to him to go there only because he would go along with some of their most powerful experts. Him going alone was basically a death sentence.

He meditated so as to clear his mind of any distracting thoughts before concentrating on his cultivation. He sat there still like a statue for hours,unable to feel the spirit qi and was losing hope.

"Maybe I'll never be able to do it. It's basically useless. After trying so hard for so long, I still can't feel it. I guess I wrong last time when I thought I felt it. It must have been a misconception".he thought with a downcast expression. But after remembering his family's demise,a fire burned in his chest as he clenched his teeth hard .

"No,I can't give up. I can't, if not for myself, at least for them. I must succeed ". He cleared his mind again with his spirit rekindled like a flame. He continued like that for hours without any improvement, still he persevered. Like that,it was sunrise the next day. Charlie was still focused in cultivating without stopping once.

It was almost noon when he felt his consciousness floating in a void with tiny specks of light flying around past him.He willed it and a few specks flying past him stopped and floated to him. He was excited but managed to control himself so as not to lose focus. Gradually, the specks floating around him increased around him. Soon,they gathered together, looking like a floating sea of light,looking beautiful. He focused more as he willed them to move and started changing shape. It took a while before he formed a seal and brought it close his lower abdomen. By then,he was already getting tired as he been straining his consciousness,making him surpass his limit. He could feel that he was losing control over the seal,making it break apart slowly. He panicked as he lost control but quickly controlled himself,pushing his consciousness to hold the seal together and slammed the seal on his lower abdomen. The seal glowed a little before sinking into his body. He spat a mouthful of blood before collapsing on the ground, unconscious. After pushing through his limits repeatedly, he was dead tired and couldn't remain awake. He remained unconscious through out the rest of the day before waking up the next day. He woke up with a splitting headache, causing so much pain than he could withstand. It made him fall unconscious again.

He finally woke up at night,sitting up and recovering his bearings with a slight headache. Still,it was bearable compared to before.

"That was terrifying. I thought I had died for sure" he thought as he sat there, watching the stars in sky.

"Wait..,I created the seal and it sank into my body,doesn't mean I succeded? Which also means I can now cultivate" he suddenly remembered,before meditating, this time to draw the spirit qi into the dantian. It entered his dantian smoothly and accumulated slowly as he drew more spirit qi in.

"Hahaha.... I succeed,I opened my dantian. I can't believe I actually succeded,hahaha.." he laughed wildly before he started shedding tears.

"Unfortunately, you guys aren't here to see it. But now,I can start my journey to the top. I shall revenge your deaths ". He clenched his fists tightly before cleaning his tears before sitting down calmly.

"Now,I need to direct it to my soul to awaken my soul to awaken my martial sprit, then I'll truly have begun my cultivation journey " he concentrated as he directed the spirit qi to the forehead which was the gateway to the psyche ,penetrating through it and located his soul. His soul glowed with a sacred light before appearing outside his body as a ball light before transforming into a yin and yang diagram. It floated behind him with his eyes closed,appearing like a projection. As it floated behind him,changes started happening in his body.

His hair split apart in the middle as his once brown hair turned black and white. Both colours possessing both parts of his hair each. It started blowing without the absence of any wind. The yin yang diagram increased in magnitude as it emitted an aura of invincibility. It was as if it was the beginning of all things in the world.

It was said that in the beginning, the universe was void of any existence. It was blank with nothing on it. After unknown amount of time,primordial chaos appeared and turned to yin and yang. They formed all things of the world and could be called the beginning of all things. It formed all things and the progenitor of the the world itself.

The yin yang diagram spread and touched the ground slid beneath him,blending and becoming one with it,emitting an aura of nature. Charlie's eyes snapped as they glowed with two mini yin yang diagrams in them. Soon enough though, it flickered and disappeared as if it was never there. His eyes also returned to normal but his hair remained the same.

He smiled gently and calmly,as if he had everything in his control. He studied his body and realised that he was much stronger than before.

"I feel much more powerful. I can't believe the difference could be so much ". He thought as he threw a punch as a whoosh sounded and the scattered leaves in the area blew away. He smiled in satisfaction and withdrew his hand.

"With this,I can continue that journey and get that treasure. But first, I'll need to train myself a little before heading out. I can't be complacent with just this level of strength ".

"This place is good for training as everything i need is here". He went down the mountain to a nearby stone forest to search for a rock heavy enough for weight lifting. He wanted to improve his physique. With that,he'll be able to control his body better and improve his speed of cultivation.

After getting the rock,he grabbed a few other thingshe felt he needed and went to the waterfall where the stream came from. He trained hard for days under the pressure of the waterfall and the rock. He felt his body improving as the days go by. His cultivation was also going smoothly as he absorbed spirit qi faster and improved. He was also shedding away the childishness of before and was becoming more mature.

His martial spirit was also involved in his change. He started developing an aloof and detached aura. Je improved in all aspect as the time got by. Soon,he felt it was time to leave so he got ready and started his journey while thinking about his future. Meanwhile, the guards of star fall city went back after searching for half a month without so much as seeing his shadow. They were scolded harshly by the leaders of all three families and punished for negligence of their duty. After finding out that the guards were unable to capture him,the patriarchs of the three families were worried as they feared he might return for revenge. They gathered again for another meeting.

"I believe we all know why this meeting is being held. Charlie O'brien escaped this city and has not been found. Him being gree to walk about disturbs me and I want him dead. We need to do something before he becomes strong and one day returns for revenge". George said as he said to the other two.

"We need to come with a plan. He must not be left alive. The mere thought of him being alive worries me". Chu Yang echoed.

"What's there to worry about?,he's just a kid. There's nothing a kid who's still wet behind the ears can do. All we need to do is put up a bounty on his head in the surrounding cities and he'll be brought to us. It's just that easy". Damien Dunlop said with a relaxed expression.

"You make it sound so easy. After suffering that much under us,he holds deep hatred for us. If he's allowed to grow,he'll become too much of a threat to us and I don't want to see that happen ". Georg said with an annoyed expression in his face.

"What,you gotta a better idea?,let's hear it" Damien Dunlop said.

"Well, he's right. We have no other choice. We'll go with that then. Any objection?" Chu Yang asked.

"Fine,we'll do as you say. But that boy must die". Georg said with conviction.
