Due to Raikage's retreat, the truce was unofficially officialized. Without them attacking there was no war, but the fame of 'Uchiha's lightning, Uchiha Sasuke' and the newly risen 'Fuin Master, Haruno Sakura' that deflected a tailed beast bomb with the use of Fuinjutsu has spread far and wide.

Uchiha Sasuke didn't only survive against Killer B but also helped in the fight against Raikage, A with Tsunade.

It wasn't an understatement that his fame has spread far and wide in the ninja world. But… the battlefield being frighteningly quiet, made the Konoha higher ups tense as they met inside the Hokage's office as Tsunade got back and sat in the office. With her hands, interlocked against each other. She sighed "It's come huh…"

Jiraiya also put on a solemn face as he sighed as well "Preparation for war…"

Hashirama, Tobirama, and Hiruzen also sat on the side.

Hiruzen said "Maybe I should join the war…"

Tobirama sighed and mocked "What's an old man like you gonna do in the battlefield? You're not in your prime and even weaker than most elite jounins. You only rely on your rich combat experience, you stay in Konoha and participate in war only on this battlefield, where you have the advantage."

Hiruzen simply nodded, he couldn't do anything about his prowess weakening that came with age, he helplessly clenched his fist in frustration.

Tsunade with a frown replied "What is it? If it's you it's surely incredibly important!"

"Yes! Akatsuki has been sighted in Iwa with 5 of their members. Their names are publicly known as Hidan, Kakuzu, Deidara, Tobi, and Konan.

"What?!" They all were shocked to the core, that mysterious group has been finally on the move. Tsunade banged the table with an enhanced chakra fist and said in frustration "Fucking bastards! Are they that desperate for a 4th Great Ninja War?!"

Shikaku continued as he sweated "That's not all, in Kumo there were also 6 members that came into meeting Hoshigaki Kisame, Uchiha Itachi, and 4 unknown ninjas not listed in the s-rank missing nin handbooks."

Tsunade was frustrated beyond belief, haven't they stated that they merely wished for peace?! What are these 2 villages thinking?!

She calmed down, breathing heavily in and out before ordering "Shikaku. Think of a plan. We'll play a defensive aggressive battle. You don't have to mind starting a 4th Great Ninja War. We'll proceed with it if that's what the two villages want! Send notice to the two villages to not let their guards down."

Shikaku gulped, then nodded and replied "Yes… Godaime-sama…" He was reluctant… who wants to war?

1 year ANL…

Gaara stood tall in front of the Sand Ninjas… He was famous during the minor war between Suna and Kumo… He killed most of the enemies making him a savior in the eyes of the villagers although they were still wary, they depended on him for his strength. He saved teammates, killed a bunch of ninjas swiftly to diminish death count, and more.

He had long earned the trust of his ninja teammates but not yet the trust of the villagers; they haven't seen him in action.

He was elected as the 4th Kazekage at this moment. Standing in front of all of his villagers, he spoke with a calm tone "My villagers… I will not say much, although I was elected in the midst of war… I will do my best to protect each and everyone of you so please… help me too to protect you."

He bowed deeply, earning the shock of the villagers, when having a kage bow down to the masses… just by letting go of his prestige and asking for their help immediately gained a part of their trust.

"Kazekage-sama! I'll follow you till death!"

"So will I."

"So do I."

A bunch of jounin ninjas that were saved in the battlefield deeply trusted his announcement. They had watched him in action themselves.

Previously he was nothing more than a bloodthirsty cage of a tailed beast but after the seal… he was a companion that they could trust with their life.

Gaara nodded and continued "I don't wish for much but I hope you try your best to survive… no! Survive! Struggle to live with all you have! Be dirty, be cowardly, be whatever you need to be to survive against the enemies! It's time for war!"

"Haaaa!!!!!!!"

All the ninjas said in determination as they stood up, they will fight and they will die for their Kazekage and they will live for him!

Terumi Mei stood in front of the villages and asked with a calm tone "Are you ready?"

"Yes!!!!!!!!!!"

They all said in unison and in determination.

"Good! Try your best and struggle to live!"

"Yes!!!!!!!!"

Konohagakure, a large army of ninjas also stood in preparation for war in the audience of the 5th Hokage, Senju Tsunade.

Tsunade said with a firm tone "I'm certain you've noticed that I'm not a hokage of many words. Survive! That's my sole order!"

"Yes!!!!!!!!"

They said in unison, making their blood boil in preparation for war. Hearing their voices couldn't help but startle the villagers… they were worried about the war, they couldn't help it… they could only wish for Konoha to win the war. They stood a lot of chances with Kiri and Suna supporting them but still… they couldn't help but worry about the downside.

Just by their speeches, the 3 villagers were in unison, they merely ordered for everyone to survive the war!

3 kages… 1 mind… they deeply cared for their people.

1 year 2 weeks ANL…

The 5 villages have entered the battlefield on the border between the 2 alliances.

Explosions… Eruption of Jutsus… Water… Earth… Fire… and etc could be seen on the battlefield…

The battlefield was divided into 5.

With each village having their own war outposts…

Kumo battlefield…

Konoha took the risk of entering and as soon as they arrived, they saw someone wearing an akatsuki cloak making Sasuke who was in the team make his blood boil.

Sasuke immediately used his [Sharingan] + [Lightning Chakra Cloak] + [Lightning Blade] to immediately try and disable him by cutting of his legs

Itachi dodged by jumping up in the air slightly while also weaving hand seals.

[Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!]

Before the Fire Jutsu could even reach Sasuke he had already moved behind Itachi but… Itachi was accompanied by Kisame so he used [Samehada] to smash it to Sasuke but Sasuke equipped with his [Sharingan] also noticed it and moved away at extreme speed.

"Tsk!" Sasuke clicked his tongue in annoyance.

Itachi said as he looked at Sasuke "You've grown… Sasuke."

Sasuke flinched for a bit before he noticed that he stared at Itachi's eyes that made him fall for his genjutsu.

Kisame appeared by the side at that moment with a smirk on his face smashing [Samehada] in his direction.

But Sakura came to support drawing chakra mid air with her fingers. She had mastered drawing chakra letters to use Fuinjutsu under the teachings of the Second Hokage, Senjuu Tobirama. [Fuinjutsu: One sided Barrier]

Shwing!

A barrier immediately appeared on the side of Sasuke to block Samehada.

Although it wasn't strong enough, it was enough to stall the strike for a bit so Sasuke could react and move with his [Lightning Chakra Mode].

He appeared beside Sakura and said "Thanks, you saved me."

Although Sakura was happy she could stand next to Sasuke even in battle but she could only reply calmly as they were in the midst of battle "No problem."

Itachi saw this interaction and made him smile slightly. He now knows how to make his brother stronger.

Seeing Sasuke's sight was on him, he equipped his face with a twisted smile sending shivers down Sasuke's spine.

Itachi immediately moved beside Sakura.

As if Sasuke expected it, he kicked Sakura away.

"Kah!" Sakura groaned in pain as she thought 'I know you're saving me, Sasuke-kun but couldn't you do it gently like pushing me away?'

Sasuke ignoring Sakura's state as he was already saved in his opinion, he touched the ground with his hand as level to kick in the direction of Itachi with his feet equipped with [Lightning Blade.] slashing towards Itachi's feet.

Itachi jumped once again as he put Sasuke in a genjutsu that said "If you don't go at me with the intent to kill you wouldn't be able to defeat me."

He snapped out of the illusion quickly but couldn't dodge Itachi's kick to the stomach.

Thud!

"Gah!" Sasuke reacted in pain as he was sent flying but rotated mid air to position his feet to use a tree to jump. But he didn't notice that Kisame was already there with his ever annoying smirk and smashing his Samehada.

Sasuke weaving hand seals reorganized his thoughts and gave up on using the tree to jump. [Fire Style; Great Fireball!]

Fuu!

Kisame's Samehada absorbed it all but Sasuke didn't mind, it stopped his mid air flight and he was slowly dropping into the ground.

But Itachi was there waiting for him, with the similar hand seals he just did [Fire Style: Great Fireball!]

He couldn't dodge! What will he do!
