Special Dorm Part 1

Yi Tan and his group were led to a two floor building that was hidden away behind tall walls within the large academy city by one of the academy's instructors, Johan Davis. Just passing through the main gate was like stepping into a whole new world. Unlike the area outside that was nothing but city streets, this place had a nice yard, and even a man made pond. The building was constructed the same as the other high rise buildings, but much smaller with its two floors.

"This is where you will be staying. I know you all have questions but let it wait until I have you registered with the bio locks on this place." Johan said as he walked over to a side panel and pushed his thumb into a slot on the wall. As soon as he did, a side panel in the wall swung open, revealing a small computer. "Alright, Yi Tan, you first. You just need to place your finger in the slot I did. You will feel a small pinch, and you will be done."

Yi Tan did as he was told and walked over to the side panel, stuck his thumb into the slot, and felt a pink on his finger while at the same time he suddenly yelled out: "Ahhh! What the hell!"

Everyone stared at Yi Tan with complex expressions. Just now, the way he yelled out sounded so forced and monotoned that it did not sound realistic at all. Sensing their strange gazes, Yi Tan rubbed his head as his cheeks slightly blushed. "Well… I thought since everyone looked nervous, I would try to do something to help you all relax, so I thought, what would Tim do and did it..."

"Pfft... Cute..." Mei turned her head to the side and let out a laugh. She really found the look on Yi Tan's face at this time to be really adorable. She knew it was rude to think of a guy like this, but it was just too much.

Ana walked over and patted Yi Tan on the back: "Don't mind..."

Yi Tan felt dejected. He tried to do something out of character even for himself and failed horribly. Johan, whose lips were twitching trying not to laugh, smiled as he said: "Alright, everyone else, come forward and do the same."

One by one, the group pressed their finger in the slot, and the computer recorded their bio signature. "Alright with this, the nine of you are the only ones besides myself and the dean who can enter this building. No one else is allowed on these grounds. Before you ask why you are gaining such privileges, I will explain.

"Tan, Ana, Mei, Amy, Tim, you five are to be this academy's new rising stars and will be given top priority in your training. The dean sees you five as the next Ben Freeman or Tang Shen. He hopes you five can win back Valant city's tier one status and gain back the resources we lost to other cities in the past ten years. You will have total freedom within these grounds to do as you please." Johan explained before turning towards Fina and the other three girls that Yi tan saved: "You four shall tend to their daily needs. Make sure they are well taken care of. As per Yi Tan's request, you will be safe from harm as long as you are inside the walls of this estate. Although it is surrounded by buildings, you must have realized that there are no buildings blocking your view, and that is because this place is within its own confined space. No one can see in, so you can freely walk around the yard without fear of being attacked.

"You all can decide on your own rooms. Tan, come here. The Dean asked me to tell you something." Johan waved Yi Tan over while the others entered the house.

"What is it?" Yi Tan asked.

Johan blushed slightly, thinking of what he was being forced to tell a young boy. He patted Yi Tan's back, took a deep breath, and said: "The Dean told me that if you take a fancy to any of the girls, there is no need to hold back. Just make sure it is consented to." Before turning around and walking off. Leaving Yi Tan standing there in a daze.

Looking at Johan's retreating back, Yi Tan shook his head as he muttered: "He does know how old I am, right?"

Yi Tan turned around and headed into the building. The downstairs had a luxurious living room with three couches and a large big screen TV. There was a spiral staircase that led upstairs and a large kitchen off to the side. Besides that, there was a big bathroom and an indoor swimming pool. And lastly, there was a library full of books.

When Yi tan walked in, he found the group all standing downstairs looking around. Mei and Ana noticed Yi Tan first and quickly ran over and grabbed his hands, pulling him along with them. "We need to go upstairs and pick rooms."

"Hey, wait for me!" Tim yelled as he watched the two girls pulling Yi Tan upstairs with them. Amy and the other four girls followed along after them.

When Yi Tan reached the second floor, he was met with another living space with some couches that curled around the stairwell entrance and two halls. One hall led out to a large second floor balcony and had two doors. A storage room and a large bathroom, while the other hall had six bedrooms. One of the rooms near the staircase side of the hall was fitted with two bunk beds.

Ana walked down the hall pulling Yi Tan along Mei following bhind. "Tan will take the middle room while I will be on the left and Mei on the right."

"Then I will take the room across from Tan!" Tim quickly jumped in. Amy did not say a word as she walked to the last room not called for, walked in and closed the door. Tim saw this and scratched his head: "Did we do something wrong?"

"Let her be, it may take her some time to warm up to us."
