Chapter 10 - The Two Meet Again

Both daughters taken aback by their father scolding. They never see father this furious before. Roselia immediately shut her mouth. She knew what she was spouting was very unreasonable. She was going overboard.

"Roselia you will meet the Crown Prince when he visits us in the future and that's my final decision!" Bernard said with stern voice.

Roselia grew silent and only can answer in a tiny voice. "Understood, father."

Rosé shows her concern to her sister. She hopes father soon forget his anger towards her sister. "Roselia, you will please the Crown Prince. He wouldn't suspicious with you." Told Rosé to reassure her sister.

"Hmm, thank you, Rosé," said Roselia and hug her sister.

If only Rosé could marry the Crown Prince, that would have be better. The Crown Prince would took care of her and she could live in comfort in the Royal Palace. Even if her sister will took her identity to become the Empress, she wouldn't mind. As for herself, she doesn't really want to become the Empress. She feels an ordinary life would fit her best. Roselia thought to herself.

Imagining herself marrying the man she love flashed in her mind. The man she likes, how nice it would be if the man who she would married is sir Thomas Humprey. Ah, she sighed deeply. But sir Thomas was her big brother Willhem's trusted aid and his right hand man. Surely, there is no future for her and sir Thomas. He would achieve better in the future and it would be Zetas Kingdom's lose if a skilled knight like him leave the knighthood and live secluded with her in unknown land.

The day has finally arrived for the Crown Prince visit the Duke of Claymore's mansion. The sun was shone brightly and the weather looks nice after constant rain at the previous days. In the mansion, Kylie Claymore looked as if she wanted to cry. Yes, the duchess was worried and anxious at the same time because for this precious day, her daughter Roselia shall lie on bed. She had a cold fever.

"Mother, would you please be sit beside me?" Roselia asked with her hoarse voice. She knew why her mother looked concern.

Not long, Bernard strode in Roselia bedroom with look as if he was haunted by ghost because his pale face. After he checked Roselia's condition once more, he become more agitated. "This would not do." Bernard said with worry in his voice.

"F-father," said Roselia in low voice. "We should tell Rosé get prepare to meet the Crown Prince today. We can't turned down His Majesty like this."

Bernard and Kylie only look at one another and didn't say anything. After awhile, Bernard open his mouth, "Vini, get Rosé ready to meet the Crown Prince today."

The head maid, Vini Dorman, immediately respond and walk in haste to find Rosé. After she left, the room only have the Duke couple and their daughter.

"My dear, I think it will be necessary to meet with the Constellation Master. We need to ask about what will happen to our Roselia and Rosé. Because I think it was strange how the things went this way. Why it always Rosé meeting with the Crown Prince? Didn't sir Moligan Harmurt say Roselia is the one who will become the Empress? Isn't it weird?" Kylie Claymore finally say something that was weighing in her mind this time. To become the Empress, does it means Roselia would need help from Rosé to reach that?

Bernard thought the same. It was the second time Rosé pretend to be Roselia as her replacement meeting the Crown Prince. If it was Roselia who is fated to become the Empress, shouldn't it be she is the one who impressed the Crown Prince? Why it was Rosé who impressed the Crown Prince in Roselia's place?

"I will surely make an appointment to meet with him." He said in conclusion.

Rosé took a deep breath and walk out from her closet. She is now wearing pastel yellow gown which is suitable for tea time in the afternoon. Some of her hair is tied and the rest is loosen on her right shoulder. She is very pretty and ready to meet the Crown Prince.

"The Crown Prince is waiting in the garden. You should meet him soon, my lady." Franches informed Rosé when she saw her lady is now ready.

"Understood. Guide me to meet the Crown Prince, Franches," said Rosé.

"Yes, my lady."

When she walked at part of the corridor, which she never walk passed there because it was part of public space where servants and knights often walk through, the ones whom never know her existence, that afternoon, those people from outside the mansion paused a little while when Rosé walk pass there. They are in awe because of her. Claymore's only daughter was known for her beauty, but this afternoon, their miss become super stunning!

"Please go ahead, my lady. The Crown Prince is sitting near the pond." Franches stop walking and allowed her lady walk to get the Crown Prince alone.

"Thank you, Franches."

Then she walk to the lounge area near the pond. There was he, the black haired young man sitting while emitting his majestic aura, his golden eyes was looking at the water plants in the pond. Sometimes there will be seen fish popping out from water or swimming through the water plants.

This scenery made Rosé heart beat faster. She walk nearer and give the Crown Prince her greeting. "Blessing to the future Sun of Zetas Kingdom, your majesty the Crown Prince." She bowed and wait for the Crown Prince say his excuse words.

"Rise," said Libra, the Crown Prince, with little smile on his face.

When Rosé raises her head, Libra could see her captivating looks. Looks like this little lady grew more and more beautiful from time to time. But, for his preference, the appearance is not the only thing that made him took interest in this lady. He still curious about her ability to use magic. He wants to see how much more she can do with magic.

"Please be sit, my lady."

Then Rosé pull one of the chairs in the opposite of Libra and sit on it.

She felt strange. How strange it is to need to be allowed to sit when you're in your own house by the guest? But, it was customary since Libra has the higher rank. And that means she can't protest about it, right?
