Chaos

As the mist entered Iono's body, his eyes turned inside his head, foam started coming out of the corners of his mouth, and he started spasming uncontrollably.

The ether of the jester, demon god turned out to be much stronger than expected.

Iono focused his mind inside his core to stop overflowing Ether of Destruction and fought with his life to balance the three energies.

Mana was overpowering and reckless, while Aura was strong and indomitable, not moving an inch.

Ether, on the other hand, matched the personality of the jester, and was cheeky, playful, and blatantly, annoying.

Iono was still spasming, a small projection of himself was twisting and turning inside his core, trying to stop the tsunamis of the three energies from swallowing him whole.

It was quite funny seeing a baby facing tsunamis of energy.

After hours of battle, the purple ether and the red Aura slowly started merging, while the Blue mana was still running around recklessly.

Slowly, but steadily, the mana started calming down.

It was very important that the three energies merged at the same time and not separately because it would make the core unstable.

The blue started merging with the red, which in turn started merging with the purple, which in turn merged back with the blue.

A vortex of energies appeared inside Iono's abdomen, that was visible even outside his core.

Colours blended together, while the energies clashed and destroyed each other.

The vortex kept getting smaller and smaller, while Iono was trying to keep his body from exploding. Suddenly-

The vortex disappeared.

Absolute silence befell.

Iono's core was as empty as the bottom of the universe.

Outside, Randell was watching with his mouth agape as he saw Iono controlling invisible strands of combined energies.

Iono was momentarily utterly connected with the realm he was in.

For a moment he felt connected to the core of this universe.

From his small chest, a dagger appeared.

The dagger dove inside the invisible strands and disappeared.

After seconds of silence, which felt like aeons for the jester, the vortex reappeared, stronger than before.

Not only stronger, but different than any other prana core.

Prana was energy whose colours could only be discerned by the caster. It was invisible to others until the caster was strong enough to add them to his core.

What was different about Iono's core was that, at given time intervals, small pitch-black sparks would fly out of the vortex.

Iono controlled the raging vortex and started merging the energies into a core.

The dagger flew out of the vortex and returned to Iono's chest.

The core that was formed was comprised of four parts, like a yin-yang, of which the colours you could not discern.

But unlike other prana cores, this one had small black lines all over it.

They were very thin and easy to escape the onlooker's eye, but for a being like Randell, they were easy to see.

"Chaos…

Strands of Chaos...

This...

This...

Is impossible!

Even Heaven has a very limited insight to Chaos!

Even ----- has a limited insight to Chaos!

Who the f*ck is this kid!?"

The jester was utterly dumbfounded.

The funny thing is, so was Iono.

He looked at his spiralling core confused.

Instinctively, he looked at his chest where the dagger resided.

"Kyomu…

It was you, wasn't it?", he said inwardly.

Thankfully inside the chaos of the energy vortexes, the jester did not notice the dagger, which had masked its presence.

"Ha...

Ha-ha…

Bahahaha!", Iono started laughing uncontrollably.

"CHAOS!

I HAVE CHAOS IN MY CORE!

BAHAHAHA!"

The face he made was absolutely priceless.

He looked like a person that got lost in the desert and accidentally found an oasis.

He had one of the highest mysteries of creation, inside his core, which meant, he will be able to nurture that secret along with his core.

Not much is known about chaos, but what IS known, is that it's the base of every universe. If trained to a degree, Iono might be able to create a whole new universe.

If he acquires the power of Creation, which only Heaven and ---- have, it will mean that he will be standing on the same grounds as the most powerful beings of the multiverse.

Not only that but he could develop it even higher, and exceed those beings.

No one has ever had chaos in their core, simply because they thought it was impossible.

"Kyomu...

What secrets do you hold…?", Iono pondered.

Randell was trying to come up with an explanation, but it eluded him.

He was left speechless.

Only one sentence kept reappearing in his mind.

"I did the right choice giving him my ether!

This might be the best choice I have ever made".

The jester sighed heavily.

In his mind, images of the upcoming catastrophe that the monster in front of him will bring.

"Now that I have my core, I can start practising martial arts and magic arts.

The one I am really looking forward to is the Prana arts.

Although...

I guess those would be lost in time...

I have to talk to the Dragon of the East; he will probably have something.

The only problem is, I have to somehow musk this core presence of mine and that stupid jester's ether…".

Iono returned his consciousness from his spiralling core to his normal self and gave the jester a playful look.

"Randell, regret giving me your ether much?"

Iono was sure the jester should have sensed the chaos in his core.

"Well...

You know...

I mean…

No…

Dammit! If only Heaven wasn't around, I'd have some sweet chaos all to myself!

But I guess I can wait a few hundred thousand year-

WAIT, NO I CAN'T!

So, hurry up and become a god!

Not only will I get my chaos empowered Ether back, but we can also have some fun…", he said with a creepy grin.

Although he had no hair, Iono felt a chilling feeling on his neck.

Remembering all the times he challenged the jester and got beaten to a pulp, made his skin tingle.

"Fear not, Randell, for I shall make you regret it!"

Iono said, a bit embarrassed that he tried to sound cool.

"But before that…"

"Yeah, I know, I know.

I'll musk the core and Ether's presence for now, but beware.

Even as a god, I haven't got total control of the four energies and so, do not, I repeat, DO NOT, go overboard training or fighting or else the shade I put over your core will disappear, and well...

Then, you'll be hunted down like a dog." Randell said, with a very disturbing and calm, happy smile.

Iono was a bit creeped out.

He gulped and tried to not imagine what would happen in case the shade went off.
