As they parked the car, Alex opened the door and walked around to the other side, waiting as Michelle gracefully stepped out. Together, they made their way into her house. The air inside felt different, charged with anticipation and secrecy.
They entered the house, and Michelle led the way to a cozy couch. She sat down beside Alex, her proximity sending a jolt through him. As she placed her hand on his thigh, a rush of sensations shot up his spine, causing an almost involuntary reaction that he quickly tried to suppress.
Clearing his throat, Alex leaned towards Michelle slightly. "So, what's the plan? How do we confirm Ken's intel?" he inquired, his voice a mix of curiosity and determination.
