Anger

Alex waited for an answer but it never came. The girl just kept on gasping for air and totally ignored him.

It annoyed Alex but the girl wasn't in a state to talk so he let her have some time.

A bit later she finally turned to Alex but her expression was wrong. Her face had morphed into a ferocious one and her fangs had grown longer. She most definitely was a vampire.

The girl again lunged at Alex who sidestepped and dodged but this time, it was different.

Alex was about to choke her from behind again when he saw a red appendage flying towards him. Alex reflexively brought his hands forward and crossed to form an "X" like a shield to block it.

"Bang. "

The red appendage collided with Alex's hand, pushing him slightly backwards. He regained his footing after taking a couple of steps back.

He then lifted his head to see the girl with four dark red ghoulish wings behind her back, flailing about.
