Kuro : The Weak

In the high of apocalypse, Tokyo city is in shambles.

Kuro is lying unconscious on the first floor in a half-destroyed building, his 16 years old little sister is trying to protect her fragile body from a group of bandits who just broke into the locked room.

Kuro cannot move, 3 days of being buried under the debris of his office building left him weak, almost dead. But his little sister who found him, when there was no hope for him to survive but she found found him, she saved him, but for what? For her to be raped in front of his eyes. He couldn't even see there faces properly to later take revenge. He could only hear his sister struggle, but she didn't even ask for help.

The 3 bandits pinned down his sister in the corner of the room & were almost ready to start the humiliation. Just then, one of the bandits looked at Kuro lying on the floor. Kuro was trying to move but there was no energy left in his unfed, dehydrated body. He could barely see the faces.

The noise of thumping started. But Kuro couldn't hear his sister voice, no shout for help, no shout to struggle, no resistance. He felt like she knew no one was coming to save her. The best way to survive was to let the Bandits do what they want & then leave with her brother.

One of the bandits discovered Kuro lying behind the desk & called out, "Hey! Toya. There is another guy here."

The One who was humiliating Kuro's little sister turned head towards Kuro. His sister started resist but Toya slapped her hard in the face. The slap was so hard she couldn't even move. It was pure fear. She was paralyzed.

Toya told his fat underling to hold the girl & moved towards Kuro. As Toya came closer towards Kuro his face was more clear. Finally, Kuro could see there faces.

"Oh! fuck! Its Kuro" the first bandit said.

"What the...? Ken how is this possible!" Toya reacted in shock after looking at Kuro. Ken(the bandit who discovered Kuro) fell on his knees. The sin they committed was now clear. They had done it before but this time was different. They recognized Kuro & Kuro recognized them. Kuro could not move an inch, but his eyes had the look of a lion. He was ready to kill these people any instant.

These bandits where none other than his office collogues.

They were not even adversaries or enemies. His own friends with whom he worked, had fun, got drunk were now raping his sister. The sound of thumping was still clear. The fat man could not resist himself. His siter had also started to resist this guy but the fat man was unforgiving. The thumping was getting faster & louder.

The two bandits looking at Kuro were shocked & ashamed at the same time. They did not know what to do to make this wrong right. There were no consequences even if they killed Kuro right now with his sister. But those eyes haunted them to even take a step further. The thumping was raising the tension & heart beat of both men. An engine of anger was heating up inside Kuro, he started smelling like death.

After a long silence, Toya shouted while banging his fist on the desk "Stop it! Otsu".

The thumping stopped & the fat man Otsu started looking towards Toya for further instructions in disappointment.

"We are leaving" Toya commanded.

"But was just getting start.."

The fatty couldn't speak anymore after looking into Toya eyes. He knew speaking anymore would mean death.

Toya & Ken walked out of the room in fear & shame. Otsu started buckling his belt, while looking at Kuro's helpless little sister. She was in her school uniform which was now half torn. There was a batch attached from her torn shirt.

Otsu read it. "Komi. Class Rep."

"Hey! I had a friend who had a sister with the same name." Otsu reacted.

Komi with her nose bleeding looked at Otsu, there was no expression, on answer, just 2 dead eyes.

Otsu staring back at her as if looking at a useless object said, "I will kick you now."

He kicked her intentionally on her face which made her unconscious & left the scars which will stay with her for the rest of her life. In the same rhythm, Otsu ran out of the room.

"Wait! for me guys" He shouted.

It was over now, they were safe.

On that day, Kuro resolved in his heart to seek power, so much power that no one will have to go through what he went through just now. His greed for power was good enough to kill those 3, but in movement of that ambition a screen appeared in front of him.

It said, "Your Revolution System". Click "yes" are "no" to gain power. You have 10 seconds.

He has been through a lot for the day. He couldn't take anymore of this world. His eyes were fading. Eventually, they closed & he went into to world of thought.

Is this it? Is this all I will be able to do?

Maybe, I am already dead. It doesn't matter if I am dead.

Who cares? If I die now, even my sister gave up on me to save her. I am worthless, weak, powerless.

I want to kill them. In that movement the whole scene of his life flashed in front of his closed eyes again.

He thought to himself, "If nothing matters anymore, then why the fuck do I care about my fatigue, tiredness & pain now. If I will die then I will leave my body with there souls."

Kuro gathered all his strength smashed his left arm on the floor & pressed the "yes". Button with his right hand.

He fell on his face, smashing his nose on the floor & thought himself as dead now.
