Chapter 9

It didn't take much time before he was able to set the fire as his mother continued to cultivate without any worry about being caught by their pursuer. After cultivating for some time, she finally opened her eyes only for her to see Jason was sitting close by while dizzy away. She couldn't help but let out a chuckle before getting up to take a walk but just after taking a step forward, the smile she had on her face suddenly went away only to be replaced by a frown. What she felt was the aura of the ten guards which was pretty well hidden.

Turning around with the intention of grabbing Jason as they went on their way but like they can read her every move, a gigantic fist made out of energy was sent her way leaving her with no choice but to defend herself. With her hand wrapped in front of her face, queen Jeanie took the attack head on only for her to be pushed back.

Waking up due to the sound from the attack, Jason took a look around himself in fright since he doesn't know what caused the explosion but that was when he saw his mother looking upward with a serious look on her face. 

"You guys truly have the gust to attack me" she said in a deep voice and looked around even upward but he was not able to see who his mother was talking to and he was just about to ask her what the problem is but that was when the sound of laughter could be heard.

"I'm sorry if my queen is annoyed due to the way I acted but your servant was given an order to bring you back to the palace" said the guard who seems to be the strongest among the ten. 

Hearing the word coming from the so-called guard who has attacked her, queen Jeanie couldn't help but let out a scoff before speaking up even more loudly.

"Do you think you have what it takes to bring me back to the palace and why are you hiding? Is this how you plan on taking me back"?.

"Please forgive my manners my queen but I'm not the only one who would be taking you back and I would like to avoid using any means if your highness agreed to surrender without putting on a fight" replied the guard as he come out of his hiding and beside him were the other guards who seem ready for a fight.

"You know that won't be possible so enough with the pretense and come after me if you dare" said queen Jeanie as she went into her fighting stance.

Seeing that she is refusing to come quietly, the guard instructed the others to go after her as they all went around her while leaving her with no space to escape. 

Seeing how things have turned, queen Jeanie turned to Jason who was standing still with a worried look on his face as he watched his mother being surrounded but what he noticed about her was that she was not worried about being surrounded instead, she was smiling at him.

"Worry not Jason, I'm only going to have a friendly spar with them before we are on our way alright" she said with a smile on her face.

Hearing her words, Jason nodded his head before moving far away from where they were standing since he didn't want to be caught up in their clash. Seeing that he had gone far enough from the battle, the smile queen Jeanie had on his face vanished like it was never there as an overwhelming killing intent came out of her body.

Feeling the killing intent that she was giving out, the guards took a deep breath before they all charged at her while using every move. Seeing them coming at her, queen Jeanie let out a scoff before letting out a punch of her own. 

Although the punch looked casual, the moment it was let out, the attacks that the guards had sent her way were all depleted before an energy fist could materialize as it struck forward toward the nearest guard as he was sent flying back while letting out a mouthful of blood before landing on the ground unconscious.

 "If you are thinking of defeating me and taking me back to the palace then you will have to do better than this" she said in a mockery tone.

"Everyone listen up, she is just in the peak stage of the celestial realm, if we were to work together, I find it hard to believe that she will be able to take us on" said the strongest among the guards.

After the instruction was given out, the guards became more confident in themselves as they began to release their strongest move without holding back which made queen Jeanie take the fight more seriously. Just because she is two realms ahead of them does not mean she is invisible before the nine guards.

Queen Jeanie deflected some of their attacks but she was still struck by the rest coming from behind as she was pushed forward which gave those that were in front of her to take advantage of the situation as they began to attack her since she had been distracted and before long they had her on one knee.

Even when she is outnumbered by the guards, she still refuses to give in. With a hand on the ground, queen Jeanie let out a burst of energy which went all around as it struck some of the guards who couldn't set the energy wall on time to defend themselves against the attack. After she was done the release of energy, queen Jeanie pushed forward toward the guard that seems to be in charge with her hand clenched together, ready to land a deadly blow on him but before she could even get close to him, an attack suddenly hit her on the back causing her to fall down with a deep wound in the back of her shoulder.
