"Wake up, Nana" Kiki shook her grandmother's arm.
The old woman groaned and mumbled something incoherent before she turned away.
"Nana, get up now!" Kiki hissed as she kept on hitting her grandmother.
"What is it?!" Nana jolted up and grumbled.
"What do you mean what is it? Don't you know what today is and what time is it?" Kiki rolled her eyes.
Nana tilted her head and stared at her granddaughter in confusion.
Kiki facepalmed.
"How would you know when you sleep all day long?" Kiki was irritated at Nana's forgetfulness.
"What are you talking about?" Nana asked.
"Look at your skin, Nana. Hasn't your senses changed yet? Does that ring a bell now?" Kiki muttered.
"Oh, now I get it" Nana's face morphed into one of understanding.
