"H-How do I look?" Tashina looked up and asked to ward off the immense silence in the air.
"Perfect," Xavier breathed out and stole her breath away with his response.
The look on his face both scared and pleased her at the same time. He was staring at her as though she was the last gem left on earth and he was possessed by the luxury of that gem.
She was glad that the four hours of sitting to be bathed and clothed by the maids weren't for nothing but she was scared he might just jump on her like a rabid beast.
"Xavier…" she trailed off, unsure of what words to bring out that would be right in this situation.
He took a step towards her which made her look up with slight surprise. His blue eyes enchanted her as she stared at the depth behind his orbs. She was shocked to see water entrapped in his vision, showing how touched he was by her presence.
