Chapter Thirty Five: Return Of The King

The Room was silent. No one exactly knew what to say after what they had just heard. They knew that he had succeeded in bringing Victoria back, Yeah but couldn't entirely understand why things happened the way that they did. And while he did seem to show some type of Amor's, he also stirred firm in his decision.

" I had been warned about this for so long, so I guess in some ways I kind of knew this was coming. The alliance between the witches and the Lycans is officially over" Queen Aurora on some level felt as though Victoria had something to do with this, but she also couldn't prove it All she knew was that this would not end well for her Kingdom. They relied on the Lycans for protection. And Now that protection would be gone forever

" Did he say he would have us executed? " Raven asked, trying her best to comprehend what had just happened. Shawn however knew this would happen.

" You kept pushing at Aurora. And your change of heart came a little too late. I think on some level, we all suspected this. For any of us that had payed attention. They could only be denied for so long before that's what's going to happen. And now it would seem there is going to be no way to fix it at least on the positive side, Gabriel seems to be somewhat back to normal. Even though his normality, has brought him to the conclusion that the alliance needs to die.

Kara is about the only one who really had nothing to say. She was so happy to see him, and yet terrified. She knew he was angry and upset. She wasn't sure if it was still at her or not, but she assumed that it was. What saddened her the most at this point was the fact that she would never be able to see Gabriel again. Not without risking her own life. She also understood why he would do something like this as well. She had tried to warn her mother the best that she could but her mother never listened. And now there was no going back.

And seeing Victoria with him kami filled Kara with sadness and yet happiness for him. She knew that he must have missed her quite a bit. And she was happy that he could finally have her back but she also knew this sealed her fate. She could never be with him. No matter how much she wanted to.

" Well that kind of fucked over my plans " Gwen finally chimes in to which Aurira responds. " You can stay with us if you'd like Gwen. We will offer you as much protection as we can" to which Gwen laughs. " Well it kind of sounds like your help is a bit unreliable from what I'm able to see" She laughs, half joking and half serious. " Then do whatever the hell you want " Aurora snaps and dissapears from the table. Shawn and Raven felt it best to leave for the time being as well whilst Aurora cooled down. They weren't sure how long that would actually take but they knew that they were tired and they needed to rest. And thus, they dissapear leaving only Gwen and Kara. " So...he was pretty fucking hot " Gwen chuckles which Kara rolls her eyes and dissapears too.

Back at the Lycan Kingdom, Lystette has been informed that two Lycans were entering the territory. At first she was slightly concerned but was relieved when she learned that is was Gabriel...and Victoria? " No..that can't be right " She exclaims and disbelief as she heads outside just in time to see Gabriel and Victoria coming through the front gate. And there she was, alive and well, beautiful white Fur, glowing eyes, and standing next to her is the king of the Lycans. Tall and proud and Majestic.

" Its about time you got back.." Lystette scoffed as she walked up to Gabriel. " I had to bring back my Queen.." Gabriel answered, surprised to see that Lystette was here. " Lystette?" Victoria smiles as she shifts back into her human form and runs to her, hugging her tightly. Lystette hugs her back as well. " Its good to see you both..especially after our last encounter " She looks to Gabriel who looks away in shame. " We have so much catching up to do " Victoria squeaks. " And a wedding to plan " Victoria turns back to Gabriel. " You..you choose me? " She asked, double checking if she had heard him correctly. " If you will have me, then yes, my Queen " Victoria jumps up and down as Lystette cracks a small smile, eventually walking away so that the lovebirds can have their time together.

Meanwhile, sitting down in front of a small creek in the woodlands around 50 miles away form the Lycan Boarder is Santara. She had made camp here, deciding on what she wanted to do first. She still wanted Kara dead but she would need an army to accomplish that and unfortuently she doesn't have one. The vampire is having army but it is unlikely that they would become allies with her. She needed to find a way to amass an entire army but she had no idea where to start. She knew that perhaps some Lycans would join her. But nowhere near the amount she would need. Especially after she had been marked as a traitor. As she sat there, she heard a voice to her from across the creek. " I can help you.."

It had been a long time, since Shawn and Raven could be alone. They had travelled to another hide out of Ravens and looked foward to the peace. " So you still wanna come to Outworld? " Shawn jokes.

" I think we both know that we needed far more here. I have a bad feeling about Gabriel and Victoria. There's something off about it. I've been trying to shake it but I just can't. And the fact that the matter is is that while it's justified for Gabriel to fill the way that he does..this won't change that it will cause tension and suffering for the Witch Kingdom. Especially if the Vampires attack again someday"

Shawn knew she was right " Yes but Aurora dug this hole for herself and she knows that. She had chances to act and she never did. It is going to suck, but if she wants things to go smoothly from this point foward then she needs to start making better decisions. For her, Kara and the kingdom. She is not just a mother. She is still the Queen and she had to do right by them and be fair. But also to not be so close minded which is how she got in the mess to begin with. Raven nodes and kisses Shawn who pulls her close to him. For the time being, Raven was done with talking. She wanted her Prince.
