Commander Zhuang is here

Night fell and its nearly 1pm but Ji zue still wasn't able to sleep. he kept recalling the moment when he saw song lin atop him. Little strands of her hair falling on to her forehead. Her skin glowing under the light. he felt her glow brighter than the sun.

the moment he opened his eyes he saw the scene where he opened the door and found song lin laughing. her eyes full of life. he had never seen someone so beautiful. he got up and sat up straight on his bed.

what made her so cold? he was thinking when both lu chen's and Ji zue's phone beeped with an alarm

lu chen who was already asleep yawned and reached for the phone. the message said

'Get to song lin's office'

"What the hell" lu chen swore and sat up

"Is she kidding me? " Ji zue growled at the same time. But they both dressed up and went up to song lin's office. The ever so cheerful Lu chen was also a little sore about waking up in the middle of the night. Ji zue practically memorized all the curses he knew but he shut up the moment he opened the door and found her leaning back in her chair, eyes closed, one hand on her forehead and other hand idly tapping the table. She looked like a queen who's ready to sentence someone's death. something about the vibe she gave off told him this isn't the time to fight. Indeed lin shiyu who was standing near the window signaled them to be quiet and walked towards them.

"Shi jin is the one who sent the message. song lin also doesn't know what's wrong." she whispered to them.

"what's with her? " ji zue asked jerking his chin at song lin who is emitting a dangerous vibe.

"She hates it when someone wakes her up in the middle of her sleep. please don't make any sounds "shiyu pleaded them. lu chen shrugged and went up to the sofa and practically fell on top it. Ji zue shook his head and stood to a side. They waited

When finally song lin is close to exploding her walkie talkie buzzed

"Captain song... did you reach your office----" but song lin interrupted shi jin and said her voice flat and menacing

"One minute. I'll give you one more minute if you aren't here by then I will break your bones and slit your throat" she said and cut off the contact.

She didn't even open her eyes but she really looked like she could slit someone's throat right now..ji zue thought and god's her voice...a queen without a crown he thought looking at her. She wasn't in her military uniform but in white and black tracks and t top. She left her hair loose unlike the bun she always wear. beautiful. she looked beautiful.

The door opened and shi jin rushed in.

"Captain song"he said and bowed. song lin opened her eyes and stood up and silently walked up to him picking a water glass on the way. her silence gave them the creeps.

"This had be better be important or else I'll throw you out from the terrace " she said quietly and bought the glass to her lips. Shi jin swallowed and said

"Commander is here" they all looked at him confused.

"which teeny tiny commander are you talking about boy?" lu chen drawled lazily from the sofa. Shiyu thought he was asleep.

"Commander zhuang of the armed forces is here to visit us" shi jin atlast dropped the bomb.

Song lin spit the water on the floor!

Lu chen stood up abruptly!

Ji zue and Lin shiyu looked thunderstruck!

"come again" song lin said eyes still wide.

"commander zhuang of the armed forces is here. I just got the information that he crossed our first gate and is on his way to the main gate. we got about 5 min to prepare" he said.

"Captain song? "he called out when she didn't respond. She seemed to come back to her senses

"Who else are there with him? " she asked voice sharp. Shi jin shook his head indicating he had come alone. she nodded and turned to shiyu

"He probably didn't want to make a spectacle out of his arrival since he didn't bring anyone. Alert who ever is on the patrol and inform the next patrol members to get to the grounds. dont involve anyone else. keep it silent."she ordered her posture returning to being captain. she bolted out as soon as she finished giving her orders without so much as a glance his way. Probably to change Ji zue thought.
