Neve Vs Buggy Pirates

It's been 19 years since Neve left the village, and so far, all he had done is focus on painting the goddess. To him, he has made quantitative progress, as he managed to paint the throne room, but he never managed to draw the throne and the actual goddess. Nevertheless, to him, this is good and steady progress.

"What a beautiful morning," Neve says as he stretches his bare body, showcasing his well-defined and toned physique, indicating that he hasn't missed a day of training.

During those years, Neve had finally grown from a boy to a man, and the mayor should have named him Angel, as the beauty Neve has shown would prove it right. His white hair had grown so much that he had to tie it into a ponytail, with a few strands moved to the side, showcasing his beautiful yellow eyes.

Suddenly, while putting on his black joggers, he hears a knock on the window of his wooden cabin. He checks to see what it is and spots a peregrine falcon pecking on his window. He immediately opens the window for the bird to enter, and the bird lands on his shoulder, chirping, while Neve nods his head as if he is listening.

This is the bird that Neve made to monitor the village for him and help the villagers in case they are in trouble. He made thirty of them so they can be more efficient, but it also takes a toll on him as it consumes more of his energy just to keep them running. Nonetheless, he still does it to keep the village safe. What he doesn't know is that the villagers are aware that he is the owner of the birds and that he is the one keeping them safe, which greatly touches them.

"Hmm... so you're saying that a pirate ship is coming, and its pirate flag is that of a skull with a red nose?" Neve says as he sorts out what the bird tells him.

"Wait... red nose... red nose... Shit!! Buggy."

Neve, after realizing who the pirate is, quickly goes to the closet of the cabin where he kept all his artwork and art equipment.

He quickly takes 30 sheets of paper and starts writing 'Run away, Dangerous Pirate is Coming' on all the paper and stacks all the paper together when he is done.

"Go and share this with the rest of the birds and warn all the villagers,"

after he finishes giving his orders to the bird, he wears a white hoodie with paint stains all over it while running to the village, trying to recover all his memories about Buggy other than being a future Yonko.

After ten minutes of running, Neve finally makes it to the village while panting. When he looks at the village, he sees that the villagers have already started packing all their belongings while the birds start to guide all the running villagers safely out of the village.

Confirming that everything was going successfully, he picks up a metal pipe he sees on the road and runs to the port of the town to confront the Buggy pirates.

While on the way to the port, he spots the sight of Boodle already having grey hair, holding up a stick while running to the port.

"Hey, old man, where are you going?" Neve shouts, stopping Boodle in his tracks and causing him to look back at who was calling.

At first, Boodle was surprised to see Neve all grown up and was also happy to see he had grown up healthy and good-looking too, but he remembers the situation he is in and holds back his shock for now.

"What do you mean? I'm the mayor of this town; it is my responsibility to protect it from pirates!" Boodle shouts as he is about to run, only to be hit in the back of his neck and fall unconscious.

"This is not your responsibility. Your job is to make sure that your people make it safe before you fight the pirates," Neve whispers as he hands Boodle to one of the villagers passing by while asking 10 of his birds to stay with Chouchou.

After 1 minute of running, Neve finally reached the port just in time as the pirate ship was already docked on the island, and some pirates had started to climb down.

Neve didn't say anything and just adjusted his pipe and position, feeling a little nervous as this would be his first fight in this world, and he was feeling kind of scared and excited at the same time.

The pirates didn't seem to notice Neve and just kept getting out of the boat. It wasn't until they all came out, including Buggy the captain, that they noticed him standing there.

"Hey, what are you doing there? Don't you see you're blocking Lord Buggy's way?" one of the crewmates shouted at him, not liking the way Neve was staring at them.

"Sorry, but this village is off-limits for pirates, so you and your red-nosed captain can turn back and move to another town,"

As soon as Neve's words fell, all the pirates under Buggy had their mouths open in shock and fear as Neve said the forbidden words that nobody in the crew would dare to say. Very soon, all their eyes fell on Buggy, whose face was red in anger, and steam was coming out of his ears at the words Neve just said.

"What are you all waiting for… KILL THAT PIECE OF SHIT!!"

Immediately, all the pirates except the commanders under Buggy charged at Neve as they drew their swords and weapons, while Neve just prepared himself for what was coming.

Very soon, a pirate reached where Neve was, and he swung his sword down to end him, but Neve just used his pole to block the sword while he used his knee to hit the stomach of the pirate and kicked the head of the pirate when he bent down, making the pirate fly a few meters away.

The other pirates didn't stop rushing and they circled Neve so that they could attack him from all angles. Very soon, they started attacking Neve from different angles, but Neve held his ground against them and managed to knock them all out without sustaining any injuries.

Knowing they couldn't surround him, they decided to attack him one by one so that they could tire him out, but that was the worst mistake they could have made.

As soon as the first pirate stepped up, Neve gave him a roundhouse kick to his head, immediately knocking him out.

The second one came, and Neve hit him in the gut with his metal pipe, knocking him out as well.

The third one also came after that, ready to punch Neve, but Neve just grabbed his arm and flipped him over his shoulder, also knocking him out. And so it went on until all the pirates were knocked down, and Neve was panting heavily, supporting himself with his knees as he smiled in victory for what he did.

Not long after he defeated them, his danger senses went off, and Neve mustered all his energy to jump back. He was glad he did because if he had stayed where he was before, he would have been stepped on by a giant lion.

Buggy, seeing all his pirates defeated, was angry, so he sent Mohji and Richie the lion to pounce and kill him. Mohji, seeing that Neve escaped from him, ordered Richie to attack him again, and Neve was too late to act as Richie was able to slash him, causing Neve to land on his knees as blood leaked out of his wound.

Just as Mohji was about to finish him off, all the birds that were watching the battle rushed to obstruct the vision of Richie, Mohji, Cabaji, and Buggy, which gave Neve enough time as he quickly drew up a horse using a strand of his hair and escaped on the back of the horse.

By the time Buggy and the rest cleared all the birds away, they weren't able to find Neve, which made Buggy angry at how incompetent his crew was.

As soon as Neve got to his cabin, the horse and all his creations disappeared, leaving him with at least a little bit of energy to tend to his wounds.

"I can't believe I'm so weak to lose to such a minor character," Neve muttered to himself as he wrapped bandages around his body.

"It seems I neglected my training, forgetting what kind of world I'm in. I guess it's time to unlock all the potential my fruit has."

And with just that statement, a fire burned within Neve as his determination grew even more, not wanting to suffer such a defeat again.
