"Are you sure you two can handle it? I mean the soldiers and Suzame". Glenn asked and I paused on my exit out the door.

"Yeah…we got this". I paused and relaxed my hands on Rin's shoulder". After all, we are the strongest".

I and Rin took different positions landing in the middle of the man hunter gun men. We lashed at them with our Kagune, wiping them down aside. I was loving it, as we had perhaps one of the best combos ever. Rin despite all had his hacks against mine, so technically we were watching each other's back. I used my Phoenix dive to shoot spikes which cleared most soldiers.

"I have killed 34. How about you? Rin asked looking at me. I scoffed, giving him a smirk.

"35. You are slow". I muttered and he groaned. Running off on his own, I scoffed as I knew I had only killed 16 soldiers. I didn't want him rubbing it in my face.

I moved outside, wiping any one I came in contact with. I made my way to my open place, filled with tall tank stands. I stood there and heard soldiers running above the tank stand. Guns pointed to my face from different angles. I glared at them as they positioned themselves. I smirked as I could easily slaughter them all, when I heard a thudding steps in front of me.

"huh? I gasped but the air was confiscated by smoke and I couldn't really see the person coming. I saw the figure and saw sharp small knives being thrown at me. I dodged it easily but on a reverse turn to saw him. Suzame, he swinged his long sickle, giving me a light cut to the shoulder. I pushed back in shock, my wounds obviously regenerated.

"you're the one eyed ghoul right? He asked in a calm voice, keeping his distance. So clearly this kid knew that I was a threat.

"What did you hear? I asked but got a scoff as a reply. "I asked you a damn question? I snapped and saw him raise his finger.

"eliminate him". He muttered in a cold voice and gun fire was shot at me from all directions. I moved quickly, dodging the bullets and eliminate the target shooters. I jumped back down to attack, Suzame but he was gone. It's like he vanished and reappeared behind me. I guess he was the fast type, but I have been here before. I weaved past his attacks and countered with a kick.

Suzame blocked with his left elbow and shifted his balance to strengthen his stamina. I snarled, throwing my self up and swing my left legs. He dodged it, sliding backwards. As I landed, he attacked again. The kid was fast alright with his high confidence, huge pace and crazy look weapon. But I was supposedly clever than him. I shot my spikes at him forcing him to pause in mid air and use his sickle. I smirked and gripped it with my Rashumon Kagune.

"wait…you have, two". Suzame muttered in shock to see me pull out two different Kagune. I shot my spikes at a defenseless Suzame, but at expected of an upper rank. He threw himself up in the air using his mid air hanging sickle as a lift. I fired my spikes at him but he swirled his body around and I doubted if any hit him.

"Whoa…you actually survived". I remarked and he let out a faint smile. From the side of his mouth, blood spilled out and he wiped it off.

"guess not". He muttered and smiled widely at me.

"Looks like a deep one". I snapped in rudely. He looked by the side of his coat and discovers two of my spikes at hit him. He glared at it in disgust and back at me. I was holding his weapon, leaving him defenseless and wide open for any attacks. I had him in my pockets and if I wanted I could deliver the killing blow. So long for every one in the house calling him strong. I let out a scoff as I filled my head with victory thoughts.

"can I have my weapon back? He asked and I gasped. This teen actually wants his weapon back. He can actually fight, even after that spike hit.

"what?! I snapped in shock and snapped his weapon into two. Throwing in above a building and staring at him, clearly I was in no mood to killing him. I just wanted him to run, he was probably already dead if he stayed here. He might die of blood loss or wrist, if Rin comes and find him like this.

"Oh…you broke it. Guess I can't fight you any more". He groaned and I watched his white jacket get in more and more stained by his blood. "Clearly, what people said is true. You are strong and I agreed with them. Double Kagune fits you". He struggled to speak.

"Are you okay? I asked as I felt a bit of his pain.

"Yeah…am good. Thanks for asking. What's your name? He asked and I gasped again. Is he for real? Wasn't he feeling any pain from my attack. Plus, why ask for my name, we are in the middle of battle and clearly he was about to die.

"What's it mean to you? I snapped in rude tongue.

"no need to get all worked up about it…we are the same age after all". He muttered and smiled softly. I for some reason didn't like the looks of things. He was calmer and had blood dripping down his left palm.

"So? I asked in a cold voice.

"so? He followed ripping off my spikes from his chest and tossing them to the floor. "so don't take it easy on me, you little clown". He snapped and grinned.

"Am sorry, perhaps I might actually kill you this time". I snapped in rudely and drew out my Rashumon Kagune. He scoffed and raised his left elbow, exercising it and smiling.

"Do me a favor? Ghoul. Tell me your name, before you die. I need to write it down for my kill book". He muttered and I heard an explosion in the air. In a spilt second, a weapon fell from the thin black smoke and Suzame caught it.

Taking a battle stance and pulling off his jacket. He's confidence level went up and his smile became even more convincing. He let out a short chuckle and glared at me with those brown eyes.

"The practice round is over. Time to get serious".
