Chapter 2

as we are making our way home I take a good look at jack and he seems to be about 2 times bigger that your average husky it included fluff to so fluffy we make it home and when we walk through the all the runes light up and sucks the radiation out of jack he keeps his form and looks happier as he shows it by wagging his tail and barking and then goes and lays down I take out the supplies I stash the food in my bedroom and the guns I read some more about why the runes all lit up the book says in a bigger space it sometimes requires more runes but it makes a domain so it can affect everything in that space like for fire runes it can turn a place into a furnace while keeping the heat inside I get ready to go out again jack want to come with me I say "not until I get you something to protect against the radiation I will work on that" jack seems to understand me and stops wanting to come with me so I give him a can of pork chops I cooked to tide him over

then I set off to the mall once again I am aiming to take more of the military stuff and welding gear then on my next trip I get to the mall pick up knifes and I picked up a few extra backpacks just to practice my runes I head over to the mini Home Crafting in the mall and get a welder kit then I look and see how much room is still in my bag I should have enough to get some necklaces and other accessories to practice on I head over to the accessories store and get necklaces rings scarfs and thats all I had room for

I go back to home and Jack seems happy I'm back I go to my room sort out all of my supplies I got I couldn't put in the backpacks but they were light enough I sort out all the supplies and then take the backpacks and go to the kitchen I made a sport for carving on the kitchen table I start carving #5Ex rune onto the back packs ever since I succeeded that first time I felt like I wont fail again I start carving the runes every rune I carved out of the 5 backpacks I carried home turned basic except the last one it was my first uncommon #5Ex rune it says in the book that it makes the object 10 times bigger and cuts the weight by 75 percent so it feel like your carrying 1/4 of the items I think "thank god it was tiring to bring the objects over here" I switch backpacks out and use the other backpacks as storage for my food and ammo and guns I take a scarf out I plan on making it a collar for Jack I take the scarf and engrave the #69Rad rune on it tuns out to be a uncommon grade I also carve his name into the scarf and then call him over and put it on him I tie it firm so it wont fall off and Jack seems to like it I look through the book I want to get a rune that replenishes my stamina I find a tier 1 rune that makes it easier to train your stamina I guess more stamina is a higher tier thing its called #8TS it makes it 5 times easier to train stamina its a new rune and it says it can only be applied to the person like a tattoo the ink can be anything I dont have a ink machine with me here so I will have to get it from the mall

I go get ready for another trip I call Jack since he can come now and he seems bigger maybe its the after affect of the radiation that's making him bigger I give him another can of pork chops he seems to like those then we set off when we reach the mall I go straight for the tattoo section I get all the tattoo ink and tattoo gear while Jack is playing in the mall running around and barking he has the rune what's the worst that could happen he's also really big I head over to the military supplies again and get more back packs they have a lot of them here I also get some more cloths and a few kits to sew clothes on it wont look pretty for now but it will do the trick we head back home Jack looks noticeably bigger he was 2x be from now he is 3x maybe it's the affect of the rune because it absorbs radiation where does the radiation go it may be distributing it to his body in some form boosting him I haven't taken a look at myself what changes happened to me I get a mirror and then we go home

when we get home I look in the mirror I look buff not too buff but like I train at the gym I thought it was from carrying those backpacks everywhere but it seems that the rune has some unintended effect maybe it couldn't be fully tested because they didn't have enough radiation or because we have adapted to the radiation a bit because its been here for a while or both but I got this book on tattooing and while I'm reading it I see the book glow I look at where it was glowing from and the page with the #69Rad rune the description was updated it now also says if the rune absorbs a large amount of radiation it will spill it into the person or object boosting its abilities I wonder if its strengthening everything in the house it doesn't matter for now I go to sleep I worked through the night and day I need the rest I eat a can of food and drink some water then I go to sleep
