CHAPTER TWENTY NINE:A GAME OVER

Enzo was staring at Cain through the front mirror not long after he zoomed off, he hadn't wrapped his head around the fact that he actually employed a betrayal as a guard.

Cain had come earlier to take him to work as usual, though Cain noticed the look of disgust in his boss's eye but then he was too scared to ask what the problem was.

And right now all Enzo wanted was to pull the trigger right in Cain's brain.

Because the fact that Cain could look him in the face and lie to him about many things, even the fact that Christie was his younger sister and he didn't know if it was a mistake that he had to bring her back to country A but nevertheless he was going to end both their lives having in mind that he could not afford any distraction from anybody.

And thinking of the possibility that Cain was taking advantage of his influence to do things that he hasn't really figured out annoys him even the most.

Enzo was really engraved with anger, he couldn't believe that he let his guard down to an extent he was used by his so-called bodyguard that he had trusted all these years.

He feels betrayed right now, Cain was the biggest failure of his life having to employ him without a proper background check up on him which he has never done before.

But one thing for sure was that Cain's hours of living have been numbered because he was going to end his life for good, he knows too much about him to let him go just like that.

After Enzo went through the information that was sent to him the previous night, it was so clear to him that Cain was obviously sent to spy on him by someone he will soon find out about and they would forever regret making this thoughtless move on him.

And seeing that Christie was the only family Cain had it was not a bad idea to start from her because he perfectly understands the pain in losing someone so dear.

Enzo was thinking of a perfect way to torture Cain before ending his life when he noticed that the car has stopped moving which made him realize that they have arrived at his company.

He got down from the car even before Cain could get the car door for him as he left for the elevator leading to his office which Cain followed immediately.

Enzo got into his office as usual, and in as much as he wanted to focus on his work and get himself busy he just couldn't, having to look up each seconds to see the one person that he thought was on his side betray him which makes him actually feels like shooting Cain at the spot but due to security reasons he can't bring himself to implement himself just for a nobody.

Cain knew that his boss's mood was not always a friendly one but it seems like something happened to him last night considering that it was way worse than other days.

Cain was frightened with the way his boss' mood was as he couldn't pinpoint on anything that was the issue, because he dropped him off yesterday and he wasn't like this.

Maybe it is work related or something Cain thought to himself, although he knew very much that he was guilty of something and sooner or later Enzo was going to find out about it but till then he was going to protect his sister in the best way he cain while trying to talk her out of any vacuous ideas that was going through her mind.

Cain has been looking for an excuse to live the office to go meet Christie and try talking to her so she would see the danger of what she was involving herself into and thankfully Enzo had sent Cain an email earlier that morning concerning a meeting with one of their business partners though with a location that wasn't really familiar to Cain but he didn't bother about it because he saw it as an opportunity to go see his sister and about the location, what was map location meant for? he thought.

Cain didn't feel comfortable with Enzo staring at him so he decided to leave for the meeting early with traffic as an excuse.

"Hmm…." Cain began with so as to get his boss's attention "sir, I will be leaving for the meeting now so as to avoid traffic and also meet up with time" Cain explained as soon as Enzo raised his head to look at him.

The earlier you leave, the faster your death Enzo ruminates on his thoughts as he simply nodded in response.

Cain found Enzo's attitude weird but left the office anyways after all everybody got their issue to deal with.

Cain got to the hotel where Christie stays and went straight to the receptionist and informed them of the person he was looking for, which a phone call was made to confirm from Christie if the stranger was to be allowed which he was given the permission to go ahead.

Cain got to her room and as expected the door was already open, he came into the room and shut the door behind him looking at Christie who was sitting on the couch already waiting for him.

"T you know I love you more than any other thing in this life and I would never make a decision that will hurt you, so please you have to leave this country right away before it gets too dangerous" Cain expressed while trying to control his anger on the way Christie was handling the issue.

"Am sorry Cain but there is nothing you say to me right now that will make me change my mind, am back and is for good, so is either I get to where i have always wanted to be or I die trying but leaving again is not an option here".Christie blurted out.

"What the hell is wrong with you T? What you don't understand in what you are doing is dangerous and could cost you your life"!!Cain shouted at Christie out of frustration.

"I don't mind dying Cain because i'm better off dead than seeing Avianna Queens in a position that is meant to be mine, life hasn't been fair to me and I won't also allow you to treat me like I dont matter, I gave you four years Cain and you couldn't do anything so am not going to stand back anymore" Christie argued back.

"T this is not going to end well trust ....." Cain was still trying to make Christie see reasons with him when he was interrupted by a knock at the door.

Cain opened the door without even bothering to ask who it was and the first thing he saw was a gun pointed right to his face. He was still trying to get over that shock as he realized that Enzo was the one with the gun.

At that point Cain knew it was a game over!!.
