Dungeon
It took nearly another hour for all of the students to go through the test and now all of the ones that remained were allowed to go into the gate.
Standing in front of the gate was a surreal experience for all of the students, After all this was a passageway to a place which was filled with danger and monsters that were ready to devour us at any instance.
All of the students standing in front of the gate had various expressions, Some were fearful some were nervous and some were even excited however all of them were ready.
The gate opened up and sucked us all in and within a second we were transported to another place.
Opening my eyes i looked around and saw Erina standing beside me slightly dazed, however everyone else was no where to be seen.
"I guess each party were separated from each other" I said to Erina who also looked around and noticed the change.
Immediately I took out my bow while she took out her wand and we both started to observe the surrounding, We were currently in a dark and long hallway.
The walls, ceiling and the floor were made up of bricks and it was obvious that we were currently underground, Behind us was a wall which blocked us and only gave us one pathway, which made it a lot easier.
Silence covered the entire hallway as we slowly started to move forward step by step, Even though i was confident the new experience made me nervous too. However I still kept my cool and observed everything with utmost attention.
As we moved forward the torches on the hallway were lit on fire automatically however we could still only see upto 3 meters in front of us.
Due to my heightened senses I was able to see clearly upto 5 meters but even that was not helpful at all, That's were my scanner came into help.
With my scanner i could clearly see 25 meters into the darkness because of the night vision built in it and i keenly observed everything.

The scanner buzzed as a goblin came into my sight who was holding a wooden club as a weapon.

Again my scanner buzzed but this time a lot more goblin entered my range of sight and it looked to be about 7 of them.
My scanner had a unique function and that was it could tell me the best path to quickly finish them all, I could see numbers on the goblins head which showed whom to kill first to save the most time.
*3rd person POV*
As the 2 were slowly walking forward trying to explore the darkness, Jake stopped in his tracks and drew his bow.
This surprised Erina after all from her view only pure darkness could be seen, However she knew her master wouldn't draw his bow unnecessarily.
She also reacted and readied a basic spell of [Earth bullet] and was ready to attack but Jake had already shot a bunch of arrows into the darkness and then just relaxed his bow.
An awkward silence coated the two of them as Erina looked towards Jake with a confused expression, But the confusion went away immediately as a screen popped up in front of them.

*Erina POV*
Looking at the pop ups I couldn't help but be shocked, Even though i was a level 6 I wasn't able to even notice that monsters were present let alone one shotting each of them.
Goblins although were very weak when compared to a normal human they were extremely sneaky and always ambushed in a large group.
But Master managed to see through the ambush and also deal with each goblin without even breaking a sweat.
I couldn't help but get slightly wet at the thought of having such a strongale dominate me.
*Jake POV*

Just by killing a few goblins I leveled up twice in a row and i immediately wanted to check my stats.

Even I was surprised by my own stats, Just by leveling up twice I had obtained the average stats of a level 6. I guess this was the power of talent, by this I was already at the level of Erina although my mana was slightly lacking.
I couldn't help but feel even more relaxed and I got comfortable in the dungeon, Without any cautiousness I stepped forward and surprisingly the tile felt like a button.
The next second an arrow was shot at me which had a corrosive acid on its tip that I barely dodged and the moment it hit the wall it melted the bricks and made a big hole.
It was like a reality check to me, I could feel my fingers slightly tremble from the sudden trap. I took a deep breath and calmed myself and this time i didn't dare to overestimate myself.
I was still a normal human that could die at any moment, I started to spread my mana using my fine control throughout the hallway and started to search for all of the traps.
My scanner could find enemies from far away but not traps, I slowly with my concentration found all of the traps and i started to lead Erina while avoiding all the traps.
*3rd person POV*
While these two were managing to avoid all of the traps the other teams weren't so lucky.
A group of 3 men and 2 women were currently advancing through the tunnel, A bulky man was at the front with a massive shield that covered his entire body.
While the other four were behind him they had their weapons ready to take on the enemies, Suddenly one of them stepped on a tile and an arrow was shot right on the shield.
The corrosive fluid completely melted through the shield and the shield now turned useless, However he still took the small shield to use it if he could.
All of the members started to pay extreme attention to their steps and slowly walked with their gaurds up.

Another trap was set off and this time again the big guy blocked the arrow and his shield was completely destroyed but unfortunately for them the trap wasn't set off by the humans.
The goblins had purposely done that to get rid of the shield and immediately a group of them jumped at the 5 and took them by surprise.... Ending the lives of 5 future hunters
