Chp. 21 Hmm... More Monke

So during the present while Paul was shopping with Shanna, he has created a society within the monkey beast similar to early civilizations. He even placed a figure head amongst them, the oldest of them with silver hair and walks around with a stick.

Sadly intrusive thoughts won over sometimes and he regretted it, because every time he appears on the small village the apes and monkeys will now greet him with the first words he used to teach them. And now appearing again to inspect their development he heard the word and wanted to face palm himself.

"Hmm…Monke!"

Paul looked everywhere and saw the reverence these apes gave him as they greeted him with their right hand stretched out in front of them like a famous rejected Austrian Artist.

They remembered him always reaching out his hands like this to rub their heads but they somehow made him into their god since his strength and knowledge he imparted to them was valued by them deeply.

"Okay okay, take me to the Village head." Paul waved his hand as he walked in the road.

"Hmm…Monke! Great God, what want with me?" though their grammar needs work they could now speak Basic English. Though they too have their own language as apes but they like that they could now express themselves in more ways than ever.

"Hey there old White Hair, I am here to show you how to farm." Paul found his boredom gone every time he goes to teach these apes new things. Though maybe one day they'll be able to function on their own, Paul did not mind as this means he taught them how to live in a civilized manner.

Now at least they use the toilets he taught them to make, hygiene and manners were the first thing he taught them after language. Being a telepath eased things form him to explain to them, also he also found great farming techniques in some of the tomes he has so he went here to practice.

Other than then he also taught them how to forge tools to gather resources all around them. He knew that they will populate this small planet soon enough but he placed importance in teachings of health and agriculture.

Maybe one day they can develop as a species rather than be mindless beast being used as guinea pigs. This was why they were kept here as the Alchemist before tested his pills and potions on these poor beings since they were the mostly similar to a human back in the cultivation world.

Many females did get mixed signals when Paul had a tent before which made him shudder at their predatory gaze. So he spent those days in a studying spree and helping out in the Man-cave where the robots has done considerable work

There he was able to assemble two dozen more robots with all the extra metal be got and materials he has. He even made variations with some being heavy lifters and the others were smaller but nimbler in handling tools. Getting more time in the Orb World gave him enough time to write a more complex algorithm for the robots.

Now he has 500 acres of hollow area under the largest mountain in Eternity Mountains, he also was able to make a hidden exit towards the Savage Lands but he did not have the robots explore as of yet as they Man-cave is not ready.

Only thing left is to reinforce what needed strengthening, he also plans to make a working biome inside as he has one artifact from his enemies that he captured. A large metal ball that emitted heat similar to the sun, he got this from an arrogant young master from something called the 'Divine Sun Sect'.

But he still needs to make a place he could place the thing so he had planned a large tower in the middle similar to Sauron's tower in the lord of the rings. Speaking of which, Paul remembered there was a guy named Sauron as well in the Marvel comics.

A psionic Vampire that transforms into a humanoid pterodactyl once he siphons a mutant of his/her lifeforce. Paul just shrugged his shoulders and forgot about that guy as he fiddle in many things he could do.

He also found he has affinity to any elements but his mastery in fire and lighting might have come from the fact Might Guy has Fire and Lightning Chakra.

He knows many ninjutsus but he just refrains using it to encourage Rock Lee to try harder on Taijutsu. Thus he always used taijutsu with Lee around, but Paul does not have that here and practice the jutsus Guy knows.

After teaching them agriculture and a little bit of ore smelting as well as shaping them into tools, he rode back on a large boar to the mountain where the sleeping Gaia is resting.

[The next day]

Paul and Shanna now stood in front of the renovated Gym which was now full of blinding lights and lavish designs. Paul spent five million in this just for the heck of it and it did make the community around them better since he gave jobs to many people here.

Who were now in a construction company he founded which he made not for profit at all. The money gained will just be used to better the company as Paul has no care if he gains anything back so the pay for the people were great and they have a lot of insurance provided too.

So many homeless were now given jobs and trained by people Paul hired and found. Most were in the rut of debt but Paul helped them, this was also one reason why Fury believed Paul means no harm at all even with his paranoid brain.

"Well, let's get ready for the party love." Paul said as he led Shanna inside.

"Whooo!!! Now we know why you been gone since yesterday brother! Hahaha!! Daym you got one hell of a girl there!" Biggie walked to Paul and gave him a hug and greeted Shanna with a smile.

"Wassup Biggie, who's plus one here?" Paul looked at the girl who seemed shy behind the gentle giant. Paul was at least 6'2" but Biggie was 7'3" and built like a tank since he plays college football.

"This here man? This my girl, Teesha you know my man here Paul." Biggie smiled like a fool as he pulled his girlfriend to greet Paul. "Don't let this small guy fool you, he beat me in an eating contest. He strong too!"

"Hi there, I'm Teesha nice to meet you mister Paul." The girl was shy as she went to shake hands with Paul.

"Please just call me Paul, we're no strangers here. This here is my girlfriend Shanna, she used to work at the Central park Zoo but she'll be going to Africa soon to send two small leopard cubs in Dahomey Reserve." Paul said.

"Hi there, Paul talks a lot about you guys." Shanna reached out and shook the hands of Biggie and his GF.

"Well we should get going then, we still have a lot to prepare inside." Paul said.

"Sure thing man, don't worry bout security and the food. Me and the boys got it handled already!" Biggie waved at Paul as he went back to help his teammates.

"He seems nice." Shanna said as they walked inside while greeting people on the way.

"I know, they were taken as local thugs but in reality they were just kids having fun. They are very friendly too if you get to know them better, people just need to see past the way they act and look deep then they'll find these kids were just acting like that to survive the streets." Paul said as he checked the preparations.

"Survive? Is there danger even here in the city?" Shanna looked confused from what Paul meant.

"Yeah, not many might know it but New York has many things hidden in its shadows. The ones on top just do not want many to know as it would cause great panic. Did you know there is a secret society of mutants under the city of Manhattan?" Paul walked with Shanna to the back of the raised stage to give out the things he wanted to showcase.

"Really? How come they live there and no one knew about them?" Shanna was surprised.

"Because the country used to make secret bunkers during the world war but since we won many of what was made to prepare for the worse were forgotten. One of those were these bunkers down there were mutants with physical deformities hid and lived there ever since." Paul looked around and saw that there were no one around as well as on surveillance so he pulled out many things in his storage one by one surprising Shanna.

"W-what? Where are you getting all of that?" Shanna was surprised at the things appearing out of no where.

"Magic." Paul said as he smiled mischievously.

"B-but…nevermind, but why are they hiding?" Shanna asked as she was a very compassionate person so she could not understand how they stayed there and not live with the people up here.

"Because the world is a hateful place, once they see something different they ostracize it like it was a disease. Once they see something they could not explain they fear it, you saw how the African Americans were treated so what will happen to a person suddenly gaining fish scales?" Paul did not mind showing more things to Shanna as they were now closer than ever.

"That…that's true…" Shanna realized this too as she had seen what bad things people could do, she too hated firearms since her father shot her mother accidentally when she was a child.

"So I am here to change that." Paul said as he smiled after seeing things were now in place.

"What?" Shanna looked at Paul seemingly asking for clarification.

"I will at least start to make people change the way they see how the world works. Why some things are like this and how are things like that, but I must first gain a name that'll reach the ears of every person within this planet." Paul smiled as he felt that his plan was not really fool proof but it was worth a try.

"So this party is a start of this plan of yours?" Shanna asked.

"Yes, but this is more to rip of many rich people." Paul then opened one of the boxes which was finely decorate and a large uncut Sapphire sits inside.

"Holy sh*t! Is that a gemstone?" Shanna was wide eyed as she saw the large stone, athletic as she might be she is still a woman and she still has some interest with pretty things like these.

"Don't worry, I'll give you something bigger and harder." Paul smirked as he looked at the flushing face of Shanna.

"Idiot." Shanna pouted as she remembered the various things she did last night after they shopped. Even now she can't walk straight so she held Paul's hands on the way inside as she did not want others to see the weird gait she has if she walked.

[Evening]

There were now guest that started to arrive and having so many rich and famous people appearing here caught the noses of the reporters wanting to know why they appeared here on this unknown event. This was mostly with the help of Fury who called in connections to have people know of what happened in Egypt as well as Paul's involvement in it.

This was his way of saying that there is a very powerful person today and he lives in America. As much as Fury wants SHIELD to be independent, he still lived in this country and wanted people to be deterred and refrain from doing dumb things that might provoke this new powerhouse that came out of nowhere.

So many found ways to become the plus ones of the ones invited, who were confused as they at first did not want to attend this no name event but many foreign dignitaries calling upon them to come with them made them curious as to who sponsored this event.

Paul knew this so he did not worry of no one coming since Fury seems to want to use him as some sort of scare tactic. Not that he minds as it still goes along with his initial plans, he wanted to make a platform where people will listen to his words attentively and what better to than making a big scene.

He was even happy that some foreign dignitaries followed some large business men that he invited. Sadly Stark can't come since he recently went to Afghanistan to present his Jericho missile, Paul realized that maybe the plot won't follow the movie timeline, but Obadiah Stane would attend the event with Pepper Pots.

It was now 2007 and this might be a hectic year for Paul if he plans to do what he prepared. Somehow Reed Richards accepted the invite and his plus two were Susan Storm and weirdly Doctor Von Doom.

This means they have not yet gotten their trip to space yet, Rand Industries has Ward Meachum and some Japanese Dignitaries, Norman Osborne also got curious since he was contacted by his shareholders and has two mysterious individuals as plus two for him.

Also some Oil magnates were invited as well as they too were curious about the invite which somehow has many wanting to attend. King T'Chaka arrived with his wife and his two children, being an advanced country they too saw what happened in Egypt with their own satellites.

So the Black Panther got curious as to why the person that could send a force stronger than an explosion of a nuclear weapon want to invite them in this party. Also this might be a good time for his son to see the world since he is currently being trained as the next Black Panther.

He did bring with him ten Dora which was somehow allowed by Paul, other countries also brought guards with them and found out that Paul does not plan to take their guns away at all. This made many confused but they too brought their guards with them.

They were then led to private cubicles which could only view the podium, this means no one knew who their neighbor was. They could not see the VIP rooms Paul had prepared for characters that are important for his plans. But those in the VIP rooms could see the private cubicles from their position.

Then some servers went to give people menus since Paul also planned to have many chefs work for the night as well as for tomorrow. They were also given a tablet where a list was found, many were curious but they were all wide eyed when they saw the first item was an uncut sapphire the size of a fist.

Even Fury got one as he too sat in the room comfortable with Coulson on the side with Barton drinking on a mini bar Paul installed. But looking down the list he found old paintings that were worth millions of dollars, these were things Paul found on the secret stash of crime lords.

He even placed description which crime lord he stole it from which surprised many of these artworks were supposed to have been destroyed or completely gone. The experts Paul invited in museum artifacts were shocked at this and got excited since they were clueless as to why they were invited here alongside rich people.

"Motherf*cker!" Fury was pissed as he saw the ones on the last part of the list were animals, but that was not the part that made him curse. It was the live stream that was happening behind the podium where these animals were being shown to be alive and well. Also the fact that these animals were once thought to have been extinct, a dodo, thylacine, some Western White Rhinocerous, Javan Rhinocerous and many endangered or extinct species.

There were descriptions that Paul found them in some hidden corners in the world and that they are for auction only for rent and that the money gained will be used to fund the restoration of these species on special habitats the Monarch(Paul's company) will be monitoring.

(A/N: Since Paul have Kaiju like beast maybe I can use this name to start a Kaiju introduction to the fic.)

Also Paul gave a number which indicated the amount of these animals in his protection, Fury was cursing because he did not know how or when Paul found the time to gather these animals and where they found them.

Some Chinese dignitaries were surprised that Paul has 300+ Yangtze river Dolphins which made them want to get the rights for the whole species. Some African countries and even King T'Chaka was surprised that there were these 'extinct' animals existing outside their out country.

They have their own reserve for many species endanger too but to think there were hundreds somewhere made him surprised they missed so much. Many were already excited since some were endemic to the their countries so they too wanted to get some for their country.

Many almost forgot what they came in here for as the Auction somehow started and many were getting their money out and calling their government for extra. Some from France and England were more focused on getting the paintings and relics that were being auctioned.

Some were silent as they were waiting for the main event to happen, but others were happy like the experts in items like these. They were called upon by the Auctioneer which was a SHIELD agent taking note of people's reactions to some items.

The professors and doctors were having a blast as Paul also readied a room where all could watch and see the experts authenticate the items. Paul hand-picked these items to be sold so he can make real profit and also have an excuse if he ever takes out money from unknown sources later.

Sure he had offended many criminal organizations by taking out these artworks but he only pulled out those unrelated to big shots like Kingpin's or the private collection of the Hand or HYDRA.

One thing he didn't want was to spook the snakes in the bushes away, so he just wanted to appear as a rich guy good at finding things that were gone for now. Soon the section where the animals are being auctioned for their rights to be handled by the highest bidder, most people that participated were rich collectors or government agents sent by their country to investigate Paul who has not shown one bit of his face.

But they did not care as they were happier they got some animals that were supposed to be extinct in their hands. Though they would rather have a private talk with Paul to have rights in all of the animals as their government felt they could take better care if they were left in their own hands.

The night got heated and food was served, it was then many realized that they were eating something really delicious. Paul has a lot of land in the various worlds and now he has the Monkey people harvest them and offer them as kind of sacrifices.

And being grown in an unpolluted place meant the crops were better and fresher. He also has tons of food that would be unspoiled for centuries in this various storage rings. Even the chefs he invited were surprised at the quality and question Paul where he got it but all they got was a mysterious smile.

Fury also noticed this and his paranoid mind went on overdrive as he thought of where Paul got these things he had thought that maybe they would buy the ingredients somewhere during the duration of the event but Paul just went inside the empty fridge and came out from it with the insides full.

Even his agents watching and observing were scratching their heads as to where Paul got all those food appear out of nowhere. They too were part of the servers and got curious so they took some small bites and got hooked.

Even the meat seemed high quality yet the chefs were curious as to how large the pig or hog when the hind leg they were cooking were as large as a person. They had thought that the meat was from a very large bull or an elephant but they could not mistake Pork with all the years they made food.

The longer the event started the more questions Fury has in his head as he received all the observations of his men, Paul was just getting more confusing as the time goes by. He also had his men check what was mentioned in the tablet and there was indeed a website showing the money that the Auction got and he was surprised it already reached two hundred million.

The Auction was a great success and Fury found that millions were transferred to many people who he found were charities that were mostly nearby. These were mostly around the neighborhood that the college students lived at, at least this was one good thing he found.

The money seemed to be not for personal use as he also found a new website that was called (HHH or Helping Homeless Hobos) that was owned by Paul Esteban.

"Didn't anyone help Mr. Esteban in naming his website?" Fury looked at Coulson and Barton who were eating behind him at the buffet brought by the servers. Magically Natasha was also there eating desserts on the corner of the room.

"We have no idea of this at all, it seems Paul does not want people to find out yet." Coulson said.

"It seems he wants to get exposure, he did not hide his actions at all. The media is getting crazy outside as they attempted many times to get in but the kids was able to catch them." Coulson continued as he had been keeping tabs on the college kids that were guarding the various ways to enter.

"You should have seen them, those reporters seemed to have been scared sh*tless seeing a football defensive team rushing at them when they got caught sneaking in." Natasha said as she has another kind of dessert in her hands.

"I see." Fury said as he looked back at the podium.

"Some of these animals are claimed to have been extinct Director…" Coulson's voice sounded out making Fury and the rest look at him then he continued. "…I might not be an expert but I looked it up, most were animals that supposed to be extinct for the past centuries so it is not outlandish that they might have survived somewhere hidden but the others were creatures that are rare already by the time of the 1st century."

"Not sure where he found those but even the anthropologist and historians in the ones invited were dumbfounded. Because most got extinct not by human factors but mostly environmental factors, and with the world as it is today they said it is impossible for some to have existed if the thought to be behavior of the animal is factored in."

"And what has this got to do with anything?" Fury felt Coulson was onto something but before the guy could answer Natasha spoke up.

"So it means that where ever he found it that it was not yet touched by human pollution?" the redhead looked at the quiet coworker of hers.

"Exactly, remember when he asked for the possibility of building something in the Antarctica? What if he did that for something, many theories have been thrown out there by crazy people about lands beyond the ice which were debunked but what if he went there because there is something under the Ice?" Coulson had been thinking about this.

They had been asking where this Man-cave was that Paul was planning to tell them and he said it was in the South Pole making them speechless then. But if anyone could build in that dangerous environment then it would be Paul who could go anywhere he wants to.

Soon the lights started to dim as the guest were situated in their seats talking about what they have got. They had discovered they could use the tablets to reach out to the various cubicles and talk. There were labels on who was who as long as they changed the setting for their info to get public.

Some dignitaries talked amongst themselves as they made deals to make sure what they got were not sabotaged or anything. But those that kept private did not care as they were mostly there for curiosity.

Soon the Auction came to an end once two pairs of Vaquitas were won by a Canadian Emissary who had wildlife reserve specially made for endangered porpoises. But no one left as they had not yet gotten what they came here originally for, they had seen it in the schedule of the tablet, Paul will appear once the Auction is done.

Though Fury is a bit angry as to why Paul did not just give the animals to the government to take care of, but he could not do so because he knew he is one he cannot lose right now when the mutant society is at a precipice of unbalance due to the recent events. Soon the lights dimmed in the room and footsteps were heard walking to the stage after the Auctioneer left.

The stage now has a single spotlight with Paul walking in it wearing a fitting suit that accentuated his features. His appearance started murmurs from the crowd as he looked around, he can see every one as well as Fury standing there in the room he made for himself. Shanna also appeared there in the room as Paul said for her to stay there.

"Welcome everyone, many of you here are practically clueless as to why I invited you here and why many wanted to come without giving you all reason at all." Paul can see the faces of many inside the room also confused.

"Let me show you one reason." Paul started floating around the stage which made many surprised but not impressed at all. "I'm sure some of you already are tense thinking I am a mutant…" Paul glanced imperceptibly at where John Sublime was sitting.

"But I assure you I am not, I am just different. Why the stage and the podium? Well there are many things I wanted to show you all that is out of this world, only I can provide. But first let me take that away…"Paul waved his hands and took the guns of men that were pointing them at him. "…it's rude to point things to someone. Especially if they are still speaking to others here." Paul looked at the men who seemed surprised as they could not understand how their guns flew away.

Crushing the guns into small balls of metal clumps Paul then sent these to a bin nearby. "Now that we got that of our way, please be reminded that I invited you all here so don't think I am out to harm you."

"Where was I? Oh yes, a little lesson. I am pretty sure most of you have heard of mutants have you not? I am pretty sure many of you came here knowing that just to meet me." Paul did not need to read minds to know that most of those present here were knowledgeable enough.

"Now, anybody have any questions?"
