FIRST CLUE: STRANGE AND YET FAMILIAR II
In a few seconds, everyone gathered around Pearl and wondered why she was in shock.
"What happened?" Nana asked.
"I decided to try out an experiment to see if I could break the hypnosis by introducing a different outcome, and for some seconds, it worked. This guy sold these ruby earrings to me," She held up the earrings in her hand and showed it to the rest of her teammates.
"After purchasing it, the haziness in his eyes cleared and this merchant shed a tear as he held my hands, thanking me as if I had just saved his life. Only for me to call out to you guys and then to my surprise he regressed to his previous state, forgetting who I was."
Right on cue, after Pearl had just finished explaining to the rest what had happened, the merchant with whom she had previously purchased the ruby earrings from, spoke up.
