Using every fiber of mental fortitude Al possessed, he tried to resist the crippling urges that were coming from the Mythical bloodline. Fortunately for Al, after a few seconds, those urges began subsiding, causing Al to tremble.
He felt as if he had just gone through a stressful and painful battle. He still had an ample amount of QI in his fire bloodline and core, but his mind felt weakened.
The Dark Brigadier General stared at Al as he struggled to resist the urges, it could clearly sense the life force that scared it previously, and this time, it was truly afraid of whatever was within Al. It felt some sort of relief that it chose not to attack Al.
