CAPTURING THE SECOND FORTRESS

It took Al and Adrian an hour to reach the nearest fortress. When they were about 4 kilometers away from the fortress that they chose to raid, Al stopped and took a few minutes to rest.

Flying at top speed and using telekinesis while doing so drained him a bit. He felt a pang on the left side of his head. "Ugh, I can feel a migraine coming." He whispered before throwing a healing pill into his mouth.

"Milo," Al called out and Milo slipped out from underneath his sleeve before turning into a cat. "Use a form that you can battle properly in." He ordered and Milo transformed, changing to a humanoid form with long rods that had sharp pointed ends as its hands.

Al could tell that Milo was a bit excited. He hadn't done much in a while, apart from Alex using him as a shield in the Mirror dimension.

"Stay with Adrian, protect him, and make sure that he's in one piece," Al said to Milo.
