Introduction

The Belladium Union is a galactic democratic state that relies on the many brilliant minds that work for the state.

Ranging from merchants, politics, and even engineers.

It is extremely prosperous when compared to the Virium Empire which is tilted towards a military regime aiming to take over the Union.

The development of the Union can improve ever so fast due to SRE, "Simulated Real Environment" a technology that induces AI-assisted lucid dreams during REM state sleep, allowing many to design whatever in a controlled realistic environment at a fast pace and with higher control and low cost.

The company that produces the most advanced Simulated Real Environment is the Armvik company, a one-man startup that produces full-body suits capable of producing peak performance while aiding the user's real body, by the usage of serum packs and the ability to overclock the brain, meaning the user can dream twice as much in the same amount of time.

During the production of a product the Armvik company suddenly halted all operations.

Its founder had completely vanished from the spotlight, nobody heard any news about him and it seemed like the man behind it all was gone.

The man's eyes widened.

He was incredulous, as he analyzed his surroundings.

Just moments ago, he had been tinkering away in his top-secret rift laboratory, perfecting his latest invention: the Armirov suit.

But now, he found himself standing amid a dense, green forest a sight that was all too unfamiliar to modern humans.

As he took a few tentative steps forward, his confusion only deepened.

How had he ended up here?

He then noticed that scattered amidst the trees and underbrush were several pieces of his equipment - as if they had been flung here by some sort of energy outburst.

For good measure, he attempted to inquire about his past only for peace of mind considering that if he was brainwashed he wouldn't know.

He knew that his name was Loudvik Armirov and that he was a member of the Belladium Union's esteemed innovation team.

He could recall his engineering prowess, activities, and details about the Union.

However, he could not recall what caused this situation.

Lost in thought, Loudvik was startled by the sudden sound of his AI assistant calling out to him.

"Sensory Reconciliation Repaired," the voice announced.

"You have been disconnected for 1 hour and 35 minutes." Distraught, he asks "Where am I?

Nova, give me details about what happened before the connection was terminated." The AI responds with "The fusion core reached a supercritical state and caused the Dyson sphere to leak some of the energy, following that a shockwave happened and you were thrown into a wormhole."

He thinks for a while.

"It makes sense," he muttered to himself.

"It must've caused an energy ray that hit a conductor directly connected to the destination controller, it's likely that the momentum of the energy might've flipped a bit to the end coordinates and caused an explosion. Thus causing the shockwave."

But as he thought more about it, Loudvik realized that something didn't add up.

"However, that doesn't explain how I didn't die." he responded.

"If that was the case, I'd be in the middle of a vacuum or splashed into the ground. I doubt a wormhole would automatically cause my body velocity to adapt with that of this specific planet - or even land on a planet at all. The more I think about it, the less it makes sense."

With growing anxiety, he asked Nova, his AI assistant, "Can you scan the area for any signs of civilization or intelligent life?"

This is the first story I've written anywhere, please give me feedback on how the pacing is etc as a comment on the paragraphs or as a review! I want to improve as I have a few other novel ideas after this one.
