"Oh my goodness, this is good news, my daughter will be the next Luna of the famous Golden moon pack", Mrs Sulaville said beaming with all smiles as she hugged her daughter. Mr Sulaville even with his cold looks, it was obvious that he was filled with happiness. Who will hear that their child will be the next Luna and won't be happy. Little Melinda didn't understand what was happening, but seeing her mother smile so much made her happy.

Ever since then the Sulaville family formed a close bond with the Alpha's family.

The Alpha had two sons but only the Alpha's family and his close official's knew. The younger one was in the human world exploring it but the elder one is the one in the park, whom everyone knew as the only child of the alpha, even the Sulaville family. Melinda who believed she was the Alpha's son mate always tried to get close to him from a young age but she was always pushed away by Luthan.

"Why does this girl love clinging to me", 13 year old Luthan said to himself seeing Melinda coming. "Heyyy Luthan", Melinda shouted from Alpha, shining her teeth brightly. "Aaargh", Luthan screamed internally, "am busy", Luthan said unpolitely to Melinda and left the spot even before she arrived there. Little Melinda feeling rejected ran to her mother crying.

"Don't worry dear, in no time he will also feel the bond and the spark between you will erupt", Mrs Sulaville said to her daughter to comfort her. Little did she know what the future held for them.

After several years, Luthan was already 28 years . Though he has not found his mate, his father came to a decision to hand over the park to him. Meanwhile Melinda always wondered why the mate bond and spark haven't erupted between them even though she was 25 already. She had try to touch him many times but the spark never erupted.

She monstered the courage and walked to Luthan a day before he was titled the new Alpha. She dressed in her best attire and left her house in the night. She got to the castle and walked directly to Luthan's office.

"Leave the door", she ordered the guards guarding his office.

"You can't enter, it's night already", one of the guards replied her.

"Okay, tell him I am here"

"No, he his working and he does not need any distraction", the guard replied not giving her any regard.

"Don't let me loose my temper"

Luthan hearing the noise from outside asked, "what's the matter?"

One of the guards quickly rushed inside his office and reported the matter. Not wanting to disrespect her in the presence of the guards, he told them to allow her in.

"I'll make sure I come back for your heads when I become Luna", she said and entered the office adjusting her temper and becoming that sweet little seductress.

"Good evening Alpha", she said and bowed.

"Am not alpha yet", Luthan replied not even sparing her a glance and continued his work

She walked forward to his table and sat on it to gain his attention.

"I have something important to tell you"

Luthan getting irritated at her like always, "be fast with what you have to say and leave".

"Am sure after hearing what I have to say you will beg me to stay", she said touching his black silky hair.

Luthan grabbed her hands and put it down.

"I'm your mate"

She finally got his attention, Luthan looked up at her

"I never knew your obsession will get to this level"

"I swear am not lieing, I'm your mate but I think something is wrong somewhere"

"Nothing is wrong anywhere, Melinda leave!!", Luthan yelled lightly at her getting tired of her nonsense. His action made Melinda stand up from the table hurriedly.

Melinda started to feel broken from within while Luthan went back to his business. His face very cold already. She came back to him and wrapped her body around him to check if the spark will erupt but instead of a spark, she was pushed away in disgust by Luthan

"Don't let me disrespect you as a woman", Luthan said facing her directly now not leaving his seat. "I hate women like you"

That was the last string as tears started to well Melinda's eye. Being rejected every time was not a easy deal for her, especially from someone she loves with all her heart.

"Leave now!!", Luthan said icingly, his voice not to low, not to high but came out threateningly. His beast was angry at the fact of another woman calling it his mate, when it's not. He had never been cold to her like that before

"When you will find out, it will be too late, because I won't accept you", Melinda said wiping off the tears that fell from her eyes. She walked to the door and left in a hurry, not wanting to face the guards with a teary face.
