Chapter 7: Continuing The Journey.

The dwarves were walking along the mountain trail and had just left the main mountain area where they could see Rivendell. As they were walking they heard the sound of wings flapping and looked on in shock as they saw me fly up to them.

"Hello lads, how are you fairing?" I asked.

"Rozahr! You are okay now!" Bilbo said in excitement as he ran over

"Yes, Lord Elrond's healing worked wonders." I said before turning toward the rest of the company who had just gotten over their shock of me not only being healed, but flying with wings.

"I will be with you for the remainder of our journey, Gandalf will join us as soon as he is able." I said.

"Very well, one Wizard is certainly better then none at all. Now let's move on." Thorin said.

We continued our journey through the mountains unaware that we were being tracked. Well, I knew we were being tracked as I'd watched the movies, but I didn't know how long they had been tracking us.

It was now raining heavily and we were walking through some mountain trails and i had to stop a giant boulder coming toward us. We heard some booms of what could be mistaken as normal thunder, but Balin noticed the difference and commented.

"This is no thunderstorm, it's a thunder battle. Look!" He said as he pointed to a giant made of stone moving away from a formation of rocks as if coming out of hiding.

We came to find that they were the stone giants of legend and to say I was fascinated would be an understatement. I mean giant sentient stone creatures, they are like golems from RPG like games, but with their own thoughts, feelings, and actions.

My analysis of them was interrupted by another giant boulder headed our way. I held up my staff and for the second time in a while, I used what I decided to call Istari Magic as it was the magic originally used in the LOTR universe by the Istari, to send a blast of magic that exploded the boulder before it could get close to us. I had used the same magic to destroy the first boulder.

"Move!! Quickly!" I shouted and the company began to move forward quickly

All the while the giants began to fight and I had to periodically destroy incoming boulders and help to keep the group together. As I was keeping an eye on incoming attacks, the ground beneath us started to rumble and then I remembered that we were actually standing on the knees of a stone giant and he was waking up.

As the giant rose, its legs moved and our group was separated in two. The giant stones kept flying and then one giant ran up and hit the giant we were on with a vicious uppercut knocking it's head off. The giant began to fall backwards and our group had one of its knees about to hit the mountain. I cast a protective shield using Istari Magic just in case.

The other group couldn't see us and thought we were squashed against the mountain, thus they ran toward us fearing the worst. They all sighed heavily in relief when they saw us okay. We made ready to leave when Bofur noticed something.

"Where's Bilbo? Where's the Hobbit?" He asked.

We heard groaning and then we saw Bilbo hanging on the cliff the dwarves rushed to help him up but they were too late Bilbo had fallen.

"I don't think so" I said to myself and then cast a spell.

'Levare Ventum'

A powerful gust of wind formed below Bilbo and pushed him up and he was sent safely back onto the rocks next to us.

"That was close. We almost lost our burglar." Dwalin said.

"He has been lost ever since he left home. He should never have come, he has no place amongst us." Thorin said angrily.

Thorin then turned and saw a cave.

"Dwalin!" He said as he gestured with his head.

Dwalin followed and they went inside the cave.

"It looks safe enough." Dwalin said.

"Search to the back, caves in the mountain are seldom unoccupied." Thorin said.

"There's nothing there!" Dwalin replied after checking the back.

"Very well. Bofur you take the first watch." Thorin said.

"I will join him." I interjected.

Thorin nodded and then started to put his stuff down.

The group had settled down to sleep, a except Bilbo. He was packing his things and I saw him while I stood a little aways away from Bofur, and Bilbo was getting ready to leave.

I saw Bofur begin his conversation with Bilbo about leaving because he was homesick. I decided to give them some space and cast my spell to make an air umbrella to protect from the rain as I stepped a little out of the cave.

I knew that Bilbo wouldn't be convinced by anything Bofur or even myself would say. The only person who might have been able to convince him was Gandalf and at the moment he wasn't here so I just let them converse.

I had been alive a long time so It can be said that some of my future knowledge was sort of locked deep in my memories until the moments arrived. I believe it was something the creator had done to make things easier for me.

Essentially until a big event from the movie happened around me, I would only have a vague recollection of what would happen. After said event began to occur, the memories would flood to the forefront of my mind and I could access them.

This happened right as Bofur had wished Bilbo good luck on his journey back and as Bilbo turned to leave he was stopped by the confused words of Bofur.

"What's that?" Bofur asked referring to the glow that could be seen from Bilbo's sword still in his sheath.

I looked over and then the memories hit me.

'OH no, the Goblin Tunnels!!'

"YOU ALL NEED TO MOVE, NOW!!" I shouted.

Unfortunately my warning came to late, the floor of the cave split open beneath the dwarves .

"Ahh Fuck" I exclaimed as I saw the dwarves fall.
