"What the .... !"
Aiden shouted in horror as he felt himself falling at an extreme speed.
Didn't Ariel say that he would just return to his body after doing what she said? How did he end up here? Moreover, from the situation, it seems like he wouldn't have any chance to react before he falls to the ground.
'To hell with you! Ariel!'
Aiden couldn't help but think in anger.
However, in the quick lapse in his focus, he fell through the gate beneath him. All of a sudden, a bright light assaulted his sense of vision as he passed through the gate and he had no other choice but to close his eyes.
After passing through the Gate, Aiden felt himself falling at a much faster speed now.
'With this kind of speed, I will definitely die if I am to come in contact with anything! ' Aiden thought as tears threatened to fall from his eyes.
What had he done to deserve this? He was only trying to leave his spiritual space, how did it this way?
All of sudden, Aiden felt a jolt through his body as his speed slowed down greatly. A few seconds later, Aiden feet touched solid ground.
Opening his eyes yet again, he realized he was in a familiar place.
"Wait, this is the school's stadium!" Aiden muttered in shock as he looked around.
"Aiden! You are back!"
As Aiden turned to look around, he heard the voice of Ace behind him. Turning himself to the source of the voice, he saw Ace running towards him with a happy smile on his face.
"Em, What happened?" Aiden asked with an embarrassed look on his face.

A few minutes earlier...
"I don't think that your friend will be arriving soon. I think we should close the gate to prevent any casualties from happening!" Mr Hodge said yet again trying to convince Mr White to close the gate.
'Hmph! What is this man up to? It seems like he really wants to close the gate!' Ace thought as he stood facing the stage.
Ever since, he informed Mr White of the fact that Aiden was still inside the Gate, Mr Hodge has been trying to get the gate closed. At first, he suggested that maybe, Ace was delusional and Aiden had already arrived but he had gone home due to the fact that he wasn't able to awaken any superpower.
However, Mr White paid no heed to his words and continued to stare at the Gate of Life with a concerned expression on his face. Mr Hodge, realizing that his plan wasn't working switched to the fact that Aiden wasn't arriving soon and they had to close the gate to prevent 'enemies' from getting it.
Seeing this made Ace very angry and he realized that Mr Hodge was no more different than Vex. Indeed, it seems like there was some truth to the phrase 'Like Father like son!'
"Let's wait for a while..." Mr White said with a frown on his face. He seemed displeased with Mr Hodge's action but it seems like he couldn't do anything either.
"Em... I think you should recons...." Mr Hodge was about to convince Mr White again when the gate shook violently and an immense aura burst from it. The next moment, the gate began to shake fiercely as a light beam shot from it, targetted at the ground.
*Swish!*
The sound of the light hitting the earth run through everyone's ears as they turned their eyes towards the direction the light beam had landed. As they turned their attention to the site where the Light beam fell, they heard a confused voice.
"Wait, This is the school stadium!"
Ace suddenly shuddered as he turned his sight to the direction of the voice only to see a confused student looking around. Unable to rein his emotions in, he burst into laughter as he ran towards Aiden with a smile on his face,
"Aiden you are back!"

Aiden was surveying his surroundings when he saw Ace running towards him with a happy smile on his face. Aiden also realized that everyone seemed to be out and at this moment, they were staring at him with shocked looks on their faces.
"Woah, you are finally here!" Ace said after rushing up to him. Looking at Ace, he could tell that he seemed to have suffered a bit so with a confused face, he turned to him and ask,
"Why? Did something happen when I was gone?"
"This... "
Hearing Aiden's question, Ace became speechless. He had thought that since Aiden had spent such a long time in the myriad of techniques, he would definitely be tired out when he woke up.
However, not only did he not look tired by any means. It was as if he hadn't suffered even a bit. The myriad of magic was a place that contained a lot of mana. Due to this, long staying in the myriad of magic was almost impossible and most people would feel greatly tired and even sick after staying for that long. Even though mana was very good for mages, it could also be bad depending on the situation and the myriad of magic was an example of a place with dangerous effect after staying there for a long period of time. It was the main reason that the two hours wait was set in order to prevent the young mages from getting hurt and suffering any dangerous injuries or even death.
"Come on, did anything happen whilst I was gone?" Aiden asked in displeasure as he saw Ace snapping into a daze.
You were the person who rushed at me the moment I got out as if something had really happened. So why are you not speaking when I finally asked you what was going on?
"This... nothing really happened. I was just worried for your safety.!" Hearing Aiden's words, Ace was brought back onto reality and he hurriedly shook his head trying to explain what had just happened.
