Seeing Frozen Lake Again
"Em, put it on ultra-mode. We have to get there fast," Travis heard Mr Wright say.
"But—" said Evelyn. Probably the ultra-mode that Mr Wright was talking about was certainly dangerous. Even Travis who didn't really travel much knew this. Putting the ship in ultra-mode was making the ship move at almost the speed of light. This was very fast for high speed travelling but it was unsafe to use in normal situations. In fact almost all the ships that have used ultra-mode have developed a fault one way or the other after its use.
After all, Ultra-mode was a new addition to ships and since it wasn't fully developed there was no one to blame when something goes wrong. Travis wanted to complain. Yet, he knew he could not. He wanted them to get there faster and there was no way he would be stupid enough to prevent them from moving the ship faster. He knew that it could destroy them but he couldn't bring himself to stop them since he knew the consequences of saying that.
