The Plan

After the talk with the Emperor, we were soon dropped off at the spaceport by the royal guards. We quickly got into the Aggressor to take off and get back on the Evanescent. As soon as we arrived on board, we registered with the station officials that we are leaving the station and planet.

I informed ADP of our plan to break the siege of Nevinter, and had him set course for a nearby star system since we don't have a concrete plan of action. I told Sarah just to go practice in the colosseum while I think up a way for use to break this siege successively.

The trip will take about twenty days to get there, which we only have an estimate of forty days before the Northern 35th Fleet can no longer hold out against the Dominion's forces continuous attacks.

A few days after secluding myself in my room trying to come up with a good idea at how to create an opening and sending the signal without dying, I went to the bridge to tell ADP-01 what the plan of action is.

I talked it over and with ADP's help, I was able to finalize all of the minor details which include the escape should something go wrong. The plan is as follows:

First when we arrive in view of the enemy blockading fleets, we will pick a straight route towards the planet, heading right into the thick of enemy ships. I will divert all power to shield and the eradicator mounted on top. The eradicator will be aimed straight ahead of the ship to clear the immediate path, while hoping that the shields can take all damage from oncoming fire.

The moment that our ship has penetrated through the blockade, and no longer have any ships in front of us, we will send the signal for the Empires reinforcement fleet to arrive at our coordinates. With that, communications with the Northern 35th Fleet should be reestablished and our mission accomplished.

If all goes according to plan we can quickly get in there to open a path and once the reinforcements have arrived; I can high tail it out of the active warzone to continue my business elsewhere.

Since the plan has been finalized with ADP, I the head to the colosseum to inform Sarah of what will be happening when we arrive at our destination.

As soon as I walk into the colosseum, I see Sarah practicing her ranged combat skills against a grand total of forty-five bots this time to test her limits. I just quietely stand by the side to wait for her session to end. Luckily, I did not have to wait too long as she has improved quite a bit and finished the bots off with only a few bruises from the training.

I fill in her on what the plan is and that she won't really have anything to do for this mission except sit tight as all the ADP units will be doing most the work this time around as they work almost all of this ship funtions. The most I will be doing is watching over it all from the bridge, since ADP-01 will be taking personal command of the operation. The reason for this is because as a droid he can make the precise deviations and commands needed to have complete efficiency.

"Zen, is there really nothing I can do? I feel useless not being able to help at all during this dangerous mission." Sarah looks at me hoping for a task to be given.

"Sorry, you'll have to wait in your quarters unless something goes wrong and will could possibly need your help then. But other than that, just sit tight and ride out the bumpy ride"

She just walks out sighing to herself going who knows where. When she leaves, I just stand there thinking about what I should do until we arrive in the subspace outside of the Nevinter system.

I guess I'll review some of the old battle tactics in the library as it has been awhile since I have studied the books in their. Even though through all these years, I've read every one of thousands of books that occupy the library shelves. I have extraordinary memory and if I go over something multiple times, I'm guaranteed to remember it forever. But it is still hard to remember all the small details, so maybe I'll find something helpful in the ancient tactic books from my race.

Well lets get this party started then, and show those Dominion tyrants what an Immortal can do!
