Haru-chan You're Pretty Greedy
Haruhiro's brow raised from shock when he discovered that by killing the undead, he's able to gain GP. Then, he smiled brilliantly. Haruhiro was just thinking how he'll have enough Greed Points for buying more Dungeon Cards but it seems that this is now a past issue.
The undead turned into blue particles of light that entered Nanako and Haruhiro's body. When it entered their bodies, the both of them felt something warm spread inside their bodies for a moment. They both looked at each other and smiled.
That was the feeling if being stronger, of them obtaining more power. It was a refreshing and addictive feeling. Especially for Haruhiro.
More Greed Points and more power. That's what he wants. His eyes then shone with a weak glint of light as he decided.
He should just kill everything this dungeon spawns and loot all items it would produce. 'That's right. Just kill everything this dungeon spawns.' That way he'll obtain more rewards and a stronger power. Haruhiro nodded secretly in his heart and just when he did, a notification popped up.
[Main Quest: Clearing the First Dungeon
Quest Objective: For more rewards gained inside a dungeon, one has to kill every single monster spawned and break the core. Defeat the boss monster and break the dungeon core for more rewards.

Haruhiro is no longer surprised by the sudden quest. He read the details of the quest and closed it, he doesn't really need to think much of it anymore. He's already decided to clear this dungeon with or without the quest.
"Haru-chan, I was just wondering. Why didn't we bring Anna-chan and Yasumi-chan along with us?"
She's been wondering about this ever since Haruhiro told her about the dungeon and how it could strengthen them. If this place could strengthen them, why didn't they all enter together?
Haruhiro walked to where the undead knight fell and picked up a black coin and the throwing knife. He placed the coin in his Inventory and held on to the knife. Haruhiro then looked at Nanako preparing to answer her question.
"It would be pretty pointless for them to enter in the current state of their bodies right now."
Nanako tilted her head, not understanding what he meant. Seeing this, Haruhiro slowly explained.
"It's pretty simple of a reason. Anna is an Evolved just like you, I think..," saying that Haruhiro looked at Nanako weirdly.
"Anyway, because of that, her body isn't strong enough that if she grew stronger right now her body will not be able to handle all of it inside her body. Right now her body is still changing, she may have an ability but it's an ability gained through my skill book. It wasn't natural.
The change in her body that the skill book did already burden her body too much, if we force it she might just not make it."
"It's that serious!? Then we shouldn't have let her use the skill book?"
Haruhiro shook his head and said, "No. Its nothing serious as long as her body adapts."
"Then, will her body be able to adapt?"
"Yes," he nodded his head then continued. "What you need to know about the skill book is that even if we do have it, we can't change a person's destiny.
What I'm saying here is that Anna was already an Evolved even before she used the skill book. Her body was already changing, we just used the skill book as a catalyst to speed up the process. The skill book can only be used by either an Evolved or an Incarnate that's compatible with the said skill."
"I see... Then shouldn't we have waited for their bodies to adjust rather than go on our own? Also, you said that Anna-chan and I are Evolved. Does that mean you and Yasumi-chan are Incarnates? What's an Evolved and an Incarnate anyway."
"Hmm. That's right I didn't mention any of it before, did I? Well..."
Haruhiro explained to Nanako what he learned from Ava about all the things he knows about an Incarnate and an Evolved. After he explained it, Nanako has this confused expression on her face.
"Since an Incarnate seems stronger than an Evolved, why can't Yasumi-chan come with us?"
"Because I'm not confident that I could watch both you and her at the same time. This is the first time we're going inside a dungeon and we don't know how things will work here. I can only choose one of you to come with me and I chose you since you're the one with the most destructive ability.
Also, it's because Ya-chan doesn't have control over her ability yet..." Haruhiro paused here and smiled. This smile somewhat irritated Nanako because he looked like a lecher with that lewd smile on his face, "You felt it earlier when the three of us were playing. You were going crazy." Reminded by Haruhiro of her crazy action earlier, Nanako blushed.
Haruhiro laughed when he saw her blush but he knows that he shouldn't push it. He then continued to explain, "Ya-chan also has an ability that can only be used for a supporting role in battles. She won't be able to fight using it." Nanako pouted her mouth and fell into deep thought.
Seeing her thinking hard about it Haruhiro smiled, he walked to her side and gave her forehead a kiss. "All you need to think about for now is that you can get stronger in this place by killing monsters. I'm leaving for the city tomorrow and I'll feel relieved if I know that the three of you can protect yourselves."
"Fumu. Right! Why am I able to get stronger without any worries that my body won't be able to take it?"
Nanako as if suddenly enlightened asked Haruhiro.
"Actually that's what I'm confused with as well... I'm not sure if you're an Evolved or an Incarnate. All I know is that you can come with me here without any worries and that's all that matters right now."
Haruhiro is sure of this because he even asked Ava to be sure before deciding to add her to his party.
Nanako smiled, "That's right. Then shall we continue?"
They continued walking forward, the tunnel they're walking in is only big enough for five people to walk in side by side. After walking for a while they found stairs going down, they didn't hesitate to take it. Haruhiro has been worried about traps getting activated by them but so far there isn't any, he thought maybe its because this place was a temple before that it doesn't have any traps placed in it.
During their walk heading downstairs, Haruhiro and Nanako noticed that the walls of this place are filled with those blue stones. Nanako told Haruhiro how it would be lovely if they could have these stones back in their room, this gave Haruhiro an idea.
He used the throwing knife he's holding and pried the stone embedded in the walls. It was removed easily, he examined it and the System told him what stone it was.

- A stone that's been absorbing mysterious energy. As long as the stone could absorb this energy, it will never stop glowing.]
Haruhiro found it really attractive. The stone has a smooth texture and has a round shape. Looking at it closely it looked like an ordinary stone if it wasn't glowing that is. He then continued to remove more stones and placed it all inside his Inventory. When he's done, he checked his Inventory and found out that he took fifty of these stones.
"We should take more of this after we've completed this dungeon."
Nanako looked at Haruhiro weirdly and said, "Haru-chan you're pretty greedy."
"Well, that's right I am," Haruhiro answered instinctively, he is after all the Sin of Greed so he answered her without any thought.
His answer made Nanako dumbfounded, shaking her head she smiled bitterly. She thought about how Haruhiro has three women ready to accompany him anytime. If that really isn't greedy then what is?
The two arrived at the end of the stairs after a few minutes, Nanako is already panting a little. She wanted to ask Haruhiro for a break but when she saw his serious face her expression turned stiff.
Enemies!
That's probably why his face is so serious, Nanako gripped the handle of the throwing knife and faced the direction where Haruhiro is looking. There she saw five figures. Three undead are wearing the same armor the previous undead they saw while the other two are wearing white robes. These undeads are all rotting, some parts of their body even have worms crawling on it. Their armor and robes are in tatters, it could be seen that aside from clearly seeing that these figures had once been in battle from the way these figures had wounds all over their bodies and garments -time seemed to have also deteriorated them further.
It is now evident that this place has long since been abandoned. "Nanako, stay here." She was brought back from her dazed state by Haruhiro voice and when she looked at him, she saw him rushing forward.
With both his hand holding throwing knives, Haruhiro took the first action. He's already kept the pistol back into the Inventory, in a closed space like this one the gunshot would attract too much attention. Obviously, that wouldn't be good so he decided to use the throwing knives. The robed undead moved the same time as the three undead knights did, from these two, Haruhiro suddenly felt the energy in the air move towards them.
This alerted Haruhiro that the robed undeads are doing something but he's not quite sure what it is. He decided to quickly finish the three undead knights to be safe. He moved fast and after a few moments he's already in front of one undead knight, this one no longer has his helmet which is why he decided to attack this one first. Thrusting the knife into the head of the undead knight, it didn't take him much effort to stab it. He kicked the undead knight away as it broke into blue particles of light that separated into two parts heading to Nanako and Haruhiro.
Haruhiro then twisted his body, he threw the other knife that he was holding to stop the movement of one undead knight trying to reach for him. It halted its movement for a second, Haruhiro wanted to take this chance and end this undead knight but he suddenly felt the fluctuation of the energy in the air suddenly stop.
He now understood what the two robed undead were doing, Haruhiro quickly moved away from his current position. Just when he did, he heard a loud bang behind him.
