My Dramatic Roommate!

Brock was shaken by the event, he was more eager to escort Scarlett back despite Scarlett having an indifferent face all through, she wasn't scared of what happened as it struck a certain familiarity between them.

Scarlett got to the dorm and said her farewell to Brock, he was an absolute gentleman, a long shot from the jerk she had met earlier that day.

She knew she couldn't be distracted, she had classes tomorrow and wanted to be in the right frame of mind.

She collected Brock's number seeing as they were majoring in the same thing.

She liked Brock, he was a breath of fresh air from the cliche and cringe guys she has encountered in her life.

She now understood why movies and books were relatable because most people assumed those very roles in real life as well so it is easier to see the ending.

She fell on her bed, exhausted and before she realized it, her eyes closed.

The comfort that comes from laying on one's bed after a long day should be studied because it didn't feel natural.

Scarlett, however, found herself unable to move.

She felt an impending sense of danger course through every fiber of her being.

She tried to open her eyes but they were sealed shut by something unknown, was this what one would call sleep paralysis? That couldn't be because she just fell asleep.

She felt something cold, it felt like a touch of death, slowly but gently caressing her thighs.

This was no doubt a hand as it slowly crawled up her warm flesh, the higher it got, the louder she tried to scream to snap her back. But to no avail.

She was a prisoner in this world but wasn't it her world?

She knew this wasn't real and that was what shifted the dynamic of the dream, but she was soon woken up.

The sun was already up and Scarlett looked anything but relaxed, the dream felt like minutes but to think hours had gone?

She began to doubt this plane of reality and slapped herself across the face to wake her up but Isabella's face told her all she needed to know.

Both girls just stared at each other awkwardly, waiting for one to break this deafening silence.

"H-Hahaha, I thought I felt a bug on my face…" Scarlett quickly tried to save herself, hoping Isabella would bite but Isabella soon freaked out the moment she heard this.

"THERE ARE BUGS IN THE ROOM!?" Without any warning, she dug into her bag to bring out a spray used for killing bugs.

Standing in the room like she was John Wick himself, she began spraying at random, brandishing her weapon of mass destruction.

Scarlett had to jump out of bed and dash outside because what the hell was she thinking doing something like that? She still had on her clothes from yesterday but she had to go shower.

Isabella exited the room but what was the smug expression on her face, acting like she just defeated Thanos?

"You don't need to worry anymore, you're safe!" Isabella was proud of what she had just done.

Scarlett didn't even know what to say, she just quietly returned to the room, grabbed what she needed to have a shower, which included a sponge, towel, and soap, and headed to the shared bathroom.

-

Scarlett soon arrived in the bathroom and it was a lot bigger than she expected, with multiple showers side by side and small lockers with their bunk number in the changing room, it was similar to high school but a lot more sophisticated.

The lock luckily didn't require a key, she stripped naked before tying her towel to head to one of the showers.

She noticed someone had dumped their clothes on the bench stationed around the changing room, but she had no time to be distracted by such meaningless things, focusing solely on having a shower and heading to her first class.

But out of one of these showers came Ronnell, Ronnell looked a lot more attractive with no clothes on because she didn't tie her towel from her chest as Scarlett had done but instead hung it around her waist, leaving her chest completely exposed.

She didn't even know Ronnell stayed in the dormitory.

Ronnell's eyes lit up the moment she saw Scarlett, running to hug her, Scarlett wished she had her confidence.

"You stay in the dormitory?" Scarlett questioned while locked in Ronnell's embrace.

"Dormitory? I just came here to have a shower. I crashed at a friend's place," Ronnell said, her hands wrapped around Scarlett's waist as she looked her right in the eyes.

"She was the one that dumped her clothes there…" Scarlett thought. Ronnell was an interesting person.

She fits the definition of what one would call a free spirit but there was an intensity in her eyes.

"You should probably head into the showers…" Ronnell said in a suggestive tone, a tone Scarlett thought nothing of as she concurred.

It took a few minutes to get everything set up but she did so and began showering.

Ronnell was still present and occasionally made small talk with her, something that Scarlett didn't mind.

"Do you need help washing your back?" Ronnell questioned, but Scarlett thought she was just being nice.

"Hahaha, I got it. Besides, it will be troublesome getting you wet again." Scarlett rejected her politely but the blinds to her shower swung open.

"I don't mind getting wet again for you Scarlett," Ronnell said once again in a suggestive tone.

"I'm in danger…" Scarlett thought to herself with a nervous giggle, recreating a famous meme.

She knew this was normal among girls, helping each other wash their backs and Ronnell seemed hell-bent on doing it anyways so what was the harm?

"S-Sure," Scarlett was hesitant because she hated being an inconvenience to anyone and thus, limited how she asked for help except those people were her parents because she trusted them wholeheartedly.

This was beginning to feel like a scene straight out of the smut novels she occasionally read, but it felt surreal that it was happening.

There was no way that Ronnell viewed her like that, was there?
