The remaining pirates turned in fear, looking at Link, who was holding the Electric Blade, stepping closer to them.
"Are you getting off the ship yourselves, or should I send you to find your captain?"
His words were calm and cool, but to the pirates, they felt like being trapped in a freezing winter cellar!
They stiffened, exchanging scared glances, then gulped nervously.
Splash!
"Run!!"
In an instant, all the pirates on the deck scrambled away wildly, diving overboard like dropping dumplings.
A chorus of "splashing" sounds echoed around them.
A few seconds later, only Luffy, Link, and Coby were left on the big deck.
"Wow, you're amazing, Link!!"
Luffy cheered, jumping over, "With skills like that, are you a swordsman?"
"I already said, I'm a prop master~"
Link put away the Electric Blade, "This is just a tool I use for fighting."
As he spoke, the Electric Blade kept appearing and disappearing in his hands, like magic tricks.
Luffy watched in awe, his mouth wide open like a Bat from Pokémon.
Besides having the ability to pull out props, Link also had a magical bag that could hold countless items.
This meant he could store anything he found at sea in his pocket.
"Mr. Link, you really are an amazing person..."
Coby expressed his admiration, having marveled at many things today.
"Alright, we've dealt with Alvida. Now, Luffy, it's time to do what pirates are supposed to do!"
Link clapped his hands and asked.
"What are pirates supposed to do?"
Luffy tilted his head, confused.
But before Link could remind him, he glanced at the nearby ship and suddenly understood:
"Right, right!!"
He waved his arms, showing off a big, bright smile:
"Since we're pirates and we won the battle at sea…"
"Then we naturally have the right to take the other side's loot!"
Link took over, exchanging excited glances with Luffy.
They could see the eagerness and interest in each other's eyes.
Luffy was simply excited to act like a real pirate for the first time.
Link, on the other hand, just wanted the treasure from Alvida's ship.
Free money? Why not take it!
When it came to money, Link was absolutely ruthless!
The two left Coby to clean up and rushed to Alvida's ship, ready to collect the treasure.
But as soon as they stepped onto the deck, they heard a "creak."
The door to the lower deck opened, and a beautiful girl with orange hair, wearing a black headscarf and a stunning figure, walked out.
She had a big bag on her back and a bright, youthful smile on her face.
But when she saw Link and Luffy blocking her path, her smile instantly froze.
"Knock, knock~"
Luffy blinked and picked his nose with his pinky.
"Nami?!"
Link was taken aback for a moment, then suddenly remembered.
In the first episode of One Piece, Nami had hidden on a merchant ship, waiting for Alvida to attack, then sneaked onboard to steal all the treasure!
"So…"
Link looked at Nami, who was instinctively covering her big bag, noticing the glimmers of gold shining from the pocket.
"Did you pack this up for us?"
With Nami standing there, ready to run at any moment and looking very alert, Link silently grabbed the Electric Blade again.
The atmosphere grew tense.
"Who are you?"
Luffy broke the silence first, asking.
"Um, I…"
Nami, the little thief, rolled her eyes, searching for an excuse.
But before she could find one, Link quickly exposed her:
"She's probably a treasure thief~"
"A thief? Her?"
Luffy pulled his pinky out of his nose, "They told me that thieves are a headache. This is my first time meeting one."
With that, he laughed, carefree as ever.
"But what she stole should be our treasure!"
Link kindly reminded his somewhat clueless captain.
"Nani?! They stole from us?!"
Luffy's eyes widened, his face filled with shock and disbelief.
Link replied, "...What else could it be?"
"Oh, I see? Hey! You thief, give us back our treasure!"
"I don't want to!"
When Luffy pointed at her, especially over the treasure, Nami instantly crossed her arms, her eyes rolling in fierce refusal.
"If you don't hand it over, I'll knock you away!"
