Chapter 17: Water of Life Spell

A day later...

"Finally, we arrive at this Dry Well." Frank said as he look around the place they were currently in.

An isolated place without any trees nor life form and a big old and dirty well are the only things that can be found within the Dry Well. The area where the Dry Well is, is very old and dilapidated.

"Eh? So this is the so-called Dry Well? So ugly." Frank said as he look around.

"It was really dry. And there is just a little bit of life energy." Elise said as she observes her surroundings.

"Now that we're here, what's we gonna do next?" Robin asked as he bring out his life weapon.

"You should try calling the Divine Spirit now." Sofia repeat what the tree spirit said to her.

"Eh? But how?" Robin asked with a puzzled look.

"Just fill the Holy Spiritual Bead with your golden energy." The tree spirit said impatiently.

"Ah... Ok." Robin said as he began following the instruction.

As the Spiritual Holy Bead is filled with golden energy, a golden light suddenly shot out as a terrifying figure emerge out of nowhere.

"Damn human, what is it that you want?! I am currently chasing such a good pet and you summon me?!" An uproar echoed that make the five figure kneel on the ground. Such pressure is just too much to bear with just Divine State.

In the castle... A beautiful woman who was currently lashing on a young man halt from her movement and look at 5:00 direction.

"Wha.. no!! That can't be a Di..." The woman didn't even manage to finish her words as she disappear in an instant.

"Mother? Wait, how about our practice?!" The young man was puzzled and can't help but sigh in helplessness.

In another room, a man was currently reading an ancient book when he halt as well.

"This.. this pressure.." the man disappeared before he finish his words.

A lot of strong individual, even from all over the world halt in that moment and disappear in the air.

"Damn, Spirit! Do you want to cause a world war?!" The tree spirit said as it want to punch the spirit but unable to do so.

"What do you mean?! As if those humans can catch me! This is already me, and yet they bear malice?! They should just die!" The Divine Spirit said towards the tree spirit directly.

"What a fool, but what you said is indeed truth, unless they will help each other. Five Heavenly God State can catch you nor me though." The tree spirit said perfunctorily.

"Yeah, but who's the Heavenly God State in this world? There's only few so no need to be afraid." The Divine Spirit said as the tree spirit agreed.

"I'm sorry to be rude for speaking up, but... it seems that you might be in that ancient ground for too long. As of today, there's been a million of Heavenly God State now in this world." Elise had just speak when several air disturbance appeared in the Dry Well.

"Oh my God!! It.. it is indeed the legendary Heavely God Crystal Lake Water Spirit!!" A certain man yelled in excitement as he look at the Divine Spirit.

"You're right!! So damn strong!" Another man yelled.

The same routine happened in just a second that make the Divine spirit feel headache.

"Dang it! I didn't expect to have so many strong individual in just a span of thousand years." The Divine Spirit said with a sigh that the tree spirit agreed as well.

"I didn't expect this Dry Well would have this treasure! So wonderful!" A Semi-Worldly God State said.

"Wh.. what!! A.. a Semi-Worldly God State!!" The Divine Spirit said alarmingly since in the past, the heavenly man won't let any individual touch the threshold of Worldly God State.

"Damn, you're about to be caught!" The tree spirit said with sympathy.

"You!! It's your fault!!" The Divine Spirit blane Robin who was the victim as well.

"Bu.. but the tree spirit make me call you." Robin anxiously answered.

"So, it's all your plan, damn seedling!" The Divine Spirit said before it wave its hand. Above the Divine Spirit, a vortex of water suddenly appeared, wanting to help the Divine Spirit escape.

"Eh? It wants to escape!" The Semi-Worldly God State sense the escape of Divine Spirit and didn't hesitate to block the vortex with his attack spell.

The water vortex above become an ice in an instant and stop its movement.

"Ahh! You seedling! If I get caught today, I'll tear your shell!" The Divine Spirit angrily yelled before raising its guard.

"Wait! It's not really my fault! It's your fault all along! If you're not a fool to forgot concealing your breath, then this won't happen. I just call you so that to revive this Dry Well." The tree spirit defend itself.

"Hmm.. wait, what did you say? Revive the Dry Well?" The Divine Spirit was surprised for a moment before a glitch of hope appeared in its eyes.

"Yeah. This Dry Well is the Vibrant Well in the past." The tree spirit was having a headache on how he would encourage the Divine Spirit on reviving the Dry Well, but it seems that luck was on its side. Now that the Divine Spirit is in dire state, then what he needs now is a strong figure who can defend him.

"I see. So you must really need my help, no wonder you call me here. And now that I fell in this state, I have no choice but to follow your damn plan! Remember this, I will get back at you someday!" The Divine Spirit said as it start to move both its hand in an strangely manners.

Along with his movement, a tail of water appeared until it forms a bizarre pattern that exudes a frightening aura.

"The Divine Spirit is now starting to attack! Let's stop it before it finish its spell!" The woman said as all the present start to move and attack.

Swish! Dong! Ding! Clang! Swish!

Different and numerous kinds of attack charge towards the Divine Spirit who was not even bothered at all.

Boom!

A loud explosion suddenly appeared as all the attacks seems to have touch a barrier.

After the large smokescreen appeared, all the present individual was surprised to see a large beast that defend the Divine Spirit.

"What.. what is that beast?! How.. how can it be not seriously injured at all?! What kind of defense is that!!" The Semi-Worldly God State asked in confusion. From the wave of attack just now, the beast should have die since there's a thousands of Heavenly God State's attack plus tens of Semi-Worldly God State's attack, so how can it only minorly injured the beast.

"Hmm... I didn't expect you would have such a trump card." The Divine Spirit said annoyingly.

"Hahaha... It just that I sensed this beast dying out of hunger so I send it some food and as a thank, I can call it anytime there is a danger." The tree spirit said with a hint of proud.

"Th.. that's.. that's the beast we fought before!" Frank was scared to death as he didn't expect that the beast that give nightmare to him would appear again.

"Tha.. that's the Nine-Colored Devil Cat! Wh.. what it is doing here?!" Another Semi-Worldly God State exclaimed.

"Eh? Nine-Colored Devil Cat? What is that and how can it be so strong?" A woman asked the Semi-Worldly God State.

"That beast resides inside the ancient ground that the God himself created. It's main objective is to watch the field of a certain herbs and grow them and make them sublime into a Mythical Herbs. And in order for it to do that, the God give that beast the defense that is as powerful as Worldly God State." The Semi-Worldly God State explained briefly.

"Then, how.. how can we kill it?" Another man asked.

"Hahaha... You can attack it as much as you want but nothing won't happen unless a Worldly God State appeared." The Semi-Worldly God State said as he intends to leave.

"You're leaving now?" The other Semi-Worldly God State asked.

"Yeah, since we can't beat that beast." The Semi-Worldly God State said perfunctorily.

"I also know that we can't beat that beast but you should also know that beast from ancient ground can't stay too long in the outside world. The maximum time they can remain in the outside world is a few minutes." The other man said that gives hope to all the individuals.

"Damn it! That guy is knowledgeable!" The tree spirit said annoyingly.

"Even so, I already finished my work." The Divine Spirit said as a beautiful yet bizarre water rune floats above the sky before it rotates in a glamorous way. From above, clear beads of water seem to be gathered as some of it even exudes the aura of life. The clouds became thick and violet as the sun were covered by it.

"No! You can't!!" A woman suddenly appeared as she didn't hesitate to attack an spell towards the well.

A man also appeared and do the same thing as the woman.

"Mom? Dad?" Icy who were just amazed by the powerful spell look at her parents.

"Damn it! These human can be really annoying sometimes. But too bad, I won't let you ruin our chance." The tree spirit said as it also send a powerful counterattack.

Crack!

A loud splitting sound suddenly echoed as the spell of two individuals suddenly cracked and get destroyed.

"Descend!" The water spirit yelled as the accumulated water descend towards the well in an instant.

"No!!" A lot of people suddenly yelled out of panic as they start to fled in different direction, thinking that the spell would attack them.

Swoosh!

A large amount of water suddenly entered the well as the True Emperor and True Empress watched the water with despair.

"Eh? That spell attack the well and not us?" The people who were in a panic was surprised as they look at the well.

"Wait? Isn't that the True Emperor and True Empress?" A lot of individual was surprised to see the sovereign of their kingdom.

"What's in that well that the True Emperor and True Empress was so scared of?" The Semi-Worldly God State asked.

"No! It can't happen!" The True Emperor said but even so, it can't do anything now.

The water rune didn't stop as it continues to filled the well with water.

"Krisza, just let that Divine Spirit revive the well. They must have a purpose why they do that aside from trying to sublime their selves." A woman voice echoed as Rose appeared with Elfred on her side.

"Yeah, and if the same thing happened again, then we can just stop the war by ourselves." Elfred said confidently.

"But, you must also know that something happened thousand years ago as well." The True Emperor Chester said seriously.

"Yeah but now that the world isn't that abundant as before, the individuals should need a lot of pressure in order to survive." Elfred said towards the couple.

"But there can be many pressure, so why must we retort to this kind of pressure where many lives can be sacrificed?" Krisza can't just agree with Elfred.

"You must also know what's happening in the Ancient Space Battleground, right? There's not only demon now, but also evil spirits! And in the span of time, there might be even more kinds of races out there." Rose said as if persuading the couple.

"I know... but still..." Keisza seems to he speechless.

"Let's trust them, Hon. What they said is also true." Chester said as he them disappeared with his wife. Although the two were worried, but they're not alone if such thing would happen, so no need to worry about it. And just like what Elfred said, they can stop it if it became too violent.

"Thank you, boy." The tree spirit said towards Elfred.

"No need since we will be benefited as well." Elfred said as he look at the Divine Spirit.

"You better revive the rest of the keys as well or else the world will become unbalanced and can lead to its destruction." Elfred said to the Divine Spirit before disappearing as well with his woman.

"You're really annoying, seedling! Now, I have such responsibility! I will really beat you half-death in the future!!" The Divinse Spirit yelled angrily but still continue to revive the Dry Well.

Since such four strong figures disappeared from the area, all the individuals then disappeared as well since they know as well that they can't take the spirit now. The spirit just have too many trump cards.
