Starting The Grind

[After sleeping, HP and MP are now at full capacity]

Now then, where am I? Hmm, It seems that I was put in a crib. It's pretty dark in here, and I don't see any kind of baby monitor. Now that I'm alone, lets get to work. You can't get a good nights sleep without doing something productive after all.

Let's get into the meat and potatos of this system. I've already confirmed that I can use stealth to bypass my Shark Bait title, so I need to work on that first. I also need the ID create and ID escape skills if possible. Having my own personal dimension is just too tempting. Not to mention that once I get to a high enough level, I can speed up time there.

So, my current goals for the time being: get as many skills as possible, get more information about this world, and go back to sle....I mean, test what is possible from The Gamer in this reality.

Alright, first is my skills. I'm going to need as many stealth skills as possible to counteract my title. These need to be constantly active even while I'm sleeping. I'm also going to need something like clairvoyance to get information since I still can't move on my own.

First things first, I need to get the mana manipulation skill, It will be important later. I close my eyes and focus on my surroundings, trying to sense something. OH! I'm almost there! I can feel it!

*Plop*

....Well then, I guess I can't be too surprised since I'm a newborn. Moving on, with my full diaper in tow, I can finally feel an inkling of Mana, or at least I think I do.

Hmm~, so this is what mana feels like. It kind of feels like I'm under water, but I can breath just fine. Now then, lets see if I can move this stuff! I start waving my hands around like a newborn would(well, I am one) and see what happens. Hmm, this isn't working.

Maybe I have to move it with a specific goal in mind? Lets try this. I imagine an invisible hand, and using that hand, I grab a new diaper from the changing station across the room. I bring it all the way to the inside of my crib.

Nice, this is good progress. What's next on the agenda? Aah, right, lets start working on my stealth skills. It's time to get one of the underrated skills from from The Gamer.

I concentrate on the mana I feel within and around my body. After I get a good feel for it, I suck into my body. I feels incredibly unpleasant, kind of like when you need to poop and you can feel it slipping out, but there's no bathroom in sight.

Perfect! It looks like I'm gonna need a few more points in WIS for me to keep this active all the time. Aah, speaking of stats, I never checked to see if the stats in this world work the same as in the manhwa.

Clicking through all of the descriptions the system gave was arduous. they're way too long winded and confusing, so I'll dumb them down so all the normal folk can understand. The stat explanations are as follows:

-STR: Get Swol, chump. This strengthens every aspect of your physical body.

-VIT: The modifier for HP. It works in conjunction with STR to make you generally harder to kill. 50HP/point.

-AGI: Gotta go fast! It helps your body keep up with your brain's commands, and makes you more flexible and harder to hit. Works along with STR to make you faster.

-INT: Brain Blast! The modifier for MP. This does not directly translate to intelligence. It makes your brain operate faster and more efficiently(think of it like upgrading your CPU). It works with AGI to give you faster reaction time, and last but not least, it boosts your memory and recall speed. 50MP/point.

-WIS: Street smarts! Modifier for MP regeneration. This more directly translates to intelligence; this is because it affects how you react to information gather by your senses. Current regen speed: 12MP/sec. +3MP/sec/point.

-Luck: This one is a bit tricky. The only explanation it gave was, "may Lady Luck be on your side." I'm guessing this means my luck stat points are closer related to reputation points with "Lady Luck."

(This is how I interpret how stats work. Please leave a comment if you have a better way of explaining it.)

Now that that's done, now what? Hmm, guess I'll go back to sleep.....crap, my diaper still needs to be changed, and it would be suspicious if I cleaned my own diaper with telekinesis. There is only one solution here...

"Uwaaaaa, Uwaaaaaa, Uwaaa...*cough**cough*!"

Oof, crying is hard on the throat. I hear foot steps coming towards the door of my room followed by the pitter patter of smaller foot steps close behind. My door opens to reveal mi madre and mi hermana. Maya sprints to my crib and hoists herself the the top of the separating wall, looking down on me from the top.

"You're awake! Onee-chan! He's awake! Look at his big blue eyes!" she stammers like the excited five year old she was.

"Fufufu, I see that, Maya. Now get down before you scare him."

"OK!" she yells as she jumps down.

Oh, and by the way, I already put the diaper I pulled to the crib in my inventory. Although I don't think there's any reason to be suspicious, I don't want them to know I'm any different from other newborns for the time being.

Mari picks me up, and we go about another normal day.
