I wake up, and find out I'm finally able to see. I look at the notification and mentally swipe it away; I'll deal with it later. First, I need to find out where I am and what's going on.

Dammit! Stop interrupting me! Now, it seems I am in a baby room that keeps well.....babies. I never liked kids much but they are so cute! look at that one squirming around! Uh oh, he started crying, now I remember why I don't like kids. I look at the viewing window where the prospective parents are watching their kids squirm about on their beds. Something is off though, I see words above all of their heads...

Hmm, one of them seems to be out of place here. I'm looking at you Pickabitch! Ahem, anyway, Miss Dark Mage seems to be staring at me. Her giant witch hat is swaying back and forth with a mind of it's own. I look down to her face to see that her brows are scrunched, and she's in a thinking pose. I look her straight in the eye as she realizes that I'm awake and she stares right back, contemplating.
Finally, she walks away from the viewing window leaving me nothing to do. As much as I would love to go back to sleep, I need to get more information. Alright, lets check out this Gamer System, and see if it's the same one I know.

Wow, talk about starting from the bottom. What kinda shitty game is this? Where is the settings tab so I can adjust my controls and my video settings to keep my poor GPU from frying? I need to see my FPS in real time! Anyway, what kind of skills do I have?

Gamer's body, huh? Well if my life is a game now, I need to have a talk with Mr. Task Manager about fixing that. Man they really need to hurry up, I feel like I've been sitting here for hours, and I still don't have a clue about what's going on.

"Yes, this is my burden to bear, I'll take care of him" she interrupts.
"Haaaa, ok, it's your decision. By the way, congrats on becoming the principal at Akane Academy" he says with a smile.
"Thanks, I should have already left for Itogami Island last week but I decided to put it off and now I know why." she says while looking at me.
"Bah!" I say while trying to say hello.
"Hhahaha, I think he likes you. By the way, what will you name him?"
"Hmm, I don't know, I'll decide that after I get to know him a bit."
"Well, he's all yours now."
"Thank you for everything Drake. I'll come visit if I ever find myself in the west again."
"Alright then, take care!" he smiles and walks away.
She looks back to me again and says, "You ready to go home with me?"
But by that time, I was already asleep. With the comically large snot bubble on my nose shrinking and expanding as I breathe.
"Hmm, I think I've finally found the perfect name for you. From now on, your name is Taida Shimon. Welcome to the family." Mari says as she picks me up.

I wake up to the sound of a plane engine running. I guess we're moving locations. There's a blanket over the car seat I'm in so I can't see what's going on.
*rumble*
Uh oh, is seems I need some food. I guess the gamer's body meant I was playing a survival game in real life. I feel cheated, but I guess this is fine too, enjoying a good meal is a part of getting a good nights rest. Now, all I have to do is use the tried and true baby method.
"Uwaaaa, Uwaaaaa, Uwaaaaa!" 'Feed me peasant!'
"Ara, hello there little Taida, do you need a new diaper?" she says as she takes the blanket off the car seat.
She checks my diaper only to see nothing there, "FuFu, I guess its time to eat then."
Taida, huh? I guess that's my name in this life. Now then lets rearrange my stats a bit while she feeds me. What should I put them on though? My strength and agility are locked and as much as I want to put them into luck, I don't have enough points to make much of a difference. At least from what I remember reading, luck only matters when you get a perk later down the line. Hmm, ok, this should do for now.

Neat, that is just what I need, a monster to interrupt my after-morning nap. I think I can get around this with a stealth skill or any skill that hides my presence. It shouldn't be too hard.

Why thank you. It's too bad I can't do anything right now since my new mother here is a Black Mage. Unless she is an idiot, she would sense something is wrong if I start manipulating mana out of nowhere. I'll have to wait till we land. I'm not just trying to go back to sleep after a good meal, I promise. Anyway, back to what's really important.

We are now in a car, I don't remember getting here but that's ok....

Whoops, I fell asleep again. Looks like the car finally stopped. Foster momma opened the door and took me into her arms, pressing me against her well developed chest. Wow, these would make a great pillow, I should make something like this soon. She then takes us inside to our new home....

Just outside of a very nice house, there was a woman that looked to be in her late teens to early twenties carrying a newborn baby in her arms. She looked like a new mother bring home her child for the first time. Taking out her keys was a challenge with one hand, but she managed to free them from her purse to unlock the door. However, that was soon proved unnecessary....
*Bang!*
"Onee-chaaaaaaaaan!" a golden bullet shot towards her at a speed that should be impossible for a girl her age. She had blonde hair just like her sister, and a small blue bowtie just above her forehead.
"Maya! Have you been a good girl? I missed you so much!" she said while hugging the small 5 year old that was wrapped around her leg.
"What is that?" she asked while looking at the bundle of blankets in her sister's embrace.
"Aah, of course, this is Taida Shimon, your little brother. Go on and say hello." she said while getting down on one knee to show her the newborn's face.
Maya locked eyes with Taida as they enter a starring contest....
"Bah, BahBah!" 'Hello, small child.'
"FuFuFu, It sounds like he likes you." she says, slightly relieved.
"Maya get to have my own little brother?! Yaaaaaaaay!" she yells while jumping up and down, her long hair flopping over her face.
"Ok, ok, lets get inside before you pass out from excitement."
This is the first meeting of the Shimon family.
