"You can't harm him!" Jamie cried out and charged toward his father.
Jerome, who was about to break Asher's neck, stopped and looked in surprise at his son.
The pause was enough for Jamie to reach Jerome, so he appeared before him. Jamie then told his father about the store and why there was a contract.
"A mere store gave you so much fright that you agreed to give up part of your territory," Jerome growled.
Nonetheless, his grip on Asher's neck had loosened, providing him with some relief.
A weak smile appeared on Jamie's face, and he told about the few customers of the store. Jerome's expression turned ugly when he found out that the store had customers from races mightier than his.
